This is Tim at his best - with content I can’t get anywhere else. Been viewing and reading watch content for 5 years, and I only knew half of these. Please keep doing things like this, regardless of view count - which can’t possibly tell the whole story of how much stuff like this is appreciated.
Much appreciated! I'll continue as long as I can with topics that are original and fun; this is where my interest lies as a collector and enthusiast. Best, Tim
I received an email from Zeitwinkel around W&W. It got lost in the shuffle of a busy week, but I just followed-up. Hopefully, I can get somebody from the company to appear on my podcast or send watches for firsthand reviews. Best, Tim
*Dear Tim i would like to echo the comment below me, no matter how you feel about being a "youtuber", view count is not the only metric, your content has QUALITY and thats what is so important literally every other presenter on this platform barely knows anything about watches lmfao even if they have their own brick and mortar or company please continue to do amazing things intis space for many years to come*
When I saw the Schwartz Roswell I Instantly wanted one.....Then came the Breguet at $651,000 Thousand *WOW* freekin Amazing. The Glasuta alarm is nice but I would Take the Roswell 08 in green $13,500 new all day. Thanks Tim
Ps thanks for adding Zeitwinkle - I had brought them up week ago ;-) , love the blue sapphire would love to add one but down a year or so most likely ..to much on the plate
Guaranteed. I'm pleased by how well this episode has performed so far, and that's what I need to see if I'm going to continue to shoot offbeat topics like this. Best, Tim
Thanks as always, Wolfgang! I love that Zenith. The Rattrapante is up there with the Retrotimer among the rarest modern El Primero variants, but it's WAY more interesting than the Retrotimer from a technical standpoint. Best, Tim
You know I love this - unique is great ... why I am awaiting an ordered SB07 Sartory B. (Aventurine outer dial- Abalone center). love the grey and then came the blue Sapphire Zeitwinkel.
Awesome choice. I have a custom SB07 in the works with Armand to showcase to the collector world what's possible with the new model. We're looking at a dark purple dial, purple case inserts, and rose gold hands with matching Breguet Arabic numerals on the dial. It should be incredible when it's done. Best, Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews Spectacular!!! I had a preview of a Rubis (Purplish stone gorgeous) with a Black adventurine outer dial. whoa. gorgeous.... Are you going with purple Guilloche or stone? My abalone will be great....
@@richardteevan4480 I'm going with guilloche, but I'm letting Armand surprise me with the pattern and executions. Abalone sounds incredible. That's going to be on exotic dial! Best, Tim
Great and informative show as usual. Thanks, Tim! One question : You mentioned a brand or watchmaker who has production in Hungary, but I didn't get the name. Could you let me know, please?
@@the1916companywatchreviews Thanks again, Tim! Just checked Aaron's website and yes, his work seems to be amazing. As a fellow Hungarian, following you from Toronto, I'm proud of his talent and very surprised that I didn't know of him. Until now, thanks to you Tim!
Awesome video Tim.... thank for my wrist shot (Breguet tradition & 24pp). Couldn't catch the live steam time but still happy to watch the replay. Cheers guys!
Great watch. And huge. There's only so much time in the show, so this one must wait for a future installment of the "forgotten watches" feature. Best, Tim
This hit at just the right time for me. The joy of researching and discovering new and interesting pieces is one of the best parts of this hobby. Thanks again Tim and team!

Macbook Pro 16 inch, 2019. It's got the 2.4GHz Intel 8-Core i9, 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB and 2TB of disk space. But there's a SupCase hard shell on it that makes it look unlike any Mac. I put a spare Apple sticker on it to give it a bit more Mac character. Best, Tim
Absolutely love this idea, Tim. Hope to see more of it. Agree that a handful of watches have sucked the air out of the room, so to speak. I’ve been a Rolex collector and hobbyist (amongst) others for 15 years and recently gave up on the brand as the customer experience was ruining the hobby for me. Has totally reinvigorated my passion for watches.
Thanks for supporting the show, Sean. This type of program is far more fun for me to write than the latest Rolex/Patek/Journe "market update" or whatever. I've always found that the real fun is the unheralded stuff, and I don't have to trick myself into viewing this type of watch as an "investment" to enjoy it. Best, Tim
I was talking to John Reardon a few months ago about that model. He's hugely bullish on the future for those Beta-powered Pateks. And I agree. They're making up all the lost ground from years of being overlooked. The bargains are gone, but we're nowhere near the level of demand that those watches will command once everyone's aware of them and their incredible rarity. Best, Tim
I appreciate your feedback! Unusual watches are the most fun to present, so I hope to feature new installments of this show topic from time to time. Best, Tim
Thanks Tim for exposing us to such beautiful timepieces that can only be found on your channel. I am thinking about adding an aventurine dial watch to my collection, and will check out the Omega. If you are open to content suggestions, I would love to see you do a show on aventurine dial watches in different price points. Then I could make an informed decision.

Love this episode. More of this please!
That Glashutte Original Senator Alarm was amazing... why more people don't flock to the brand is beyond me.
I hope this video gets lots of views, my favorite topic: discover more watches. I rarely watch live but always watch the replays.
What an excellent episode - please continue the underdogs feature!!
I like exploring "other" brands - keep these coming!
Beautiful show! I have to admit, my interest in watches has been waning a bit recently. These examples are why I still pay attention!
This was incredibly interesting, with so much new to me information and elegant, impressive, obscure watches. Well done Tim.
Yes! Zeitwinkel gets some love! Incredible movements… and great people at the company.

Heavily agree regarding the lack of variety in the watches on media and especially those for sale. Has really deteriorated since 2017-18.

Tim, if you had a choice to buy the Omega Speedmaster with the aventurine dial or a Speedmaster Tin Tin, which would you buy and why?
Agree Zeitwinkel is awesome. Will need to get one soon.
Was with Richard when he got that Patek Beta 21. Unbelievable find and pickup.
