I'm using Nothing phone 1. Now they had fixed all the bugs and the latest updates with the OS is super optimized. I'm really enjoying the phone.

the fact that Carl is so humble, the vision is to have tech exciting again, having real tech enthusiasts come together to make something unique and pure is allready worth getting, to support the cause. I got mine, and coming from the s23 ultra, this is what i always wanted... Running android OS in Iphone shaped body, with all the restrictions taken away, USB C charging,...its the Phone that I always wanted
My friend bought it for INR 25,999/- during the recently concluded Big Billion Days sale. It feels so smooth and looks really nice and unique. I don't use android but I do appreciate the experience Nothing offered at this price point. 26k was a solid price for this phone, but 34k which it usually goes for is a bit overpriced in my opinion. Nevertheless, It's refreshing to see when a new company tries to do something different.
Its actually what i'm looking for in a second phone for a business line. Keep my iphone pro as my main

6:59 you can also unlock the Nothing Phone flat on the table since the fingerprint scanner is on the display and you don't even need to lean to look at the phones, just use your hand so is actually easier to unlock the Nothing Phone on a table

They should have gone for a phone that is as unexploitative as possible. Paying workers well, reducing harm to the environment wherever they can, high reparability and instead of buying a new phone you can reuse parts. That's what I expect a nothing phone to be.
Apple pay there workers in China bad by the way, slave labour there making iphones.

Nothing is an interesting phone, for sure, but I’m too entrenched in the Apple ecosystem to switch to this phone.
Plus, I also prefer Face ID. ;)
To be honest, the Nothing phone is quite an amazing experience. Although, to be honest, if the Pixels were officially supported in Greece, I’d go for a Pixel 6a in a heartbeat. But still, a great first device.
Mine arrives tomorrow. I am curious to see how it is.
Went to a shop earlier today that sells both both iphone 13 and nothing phone. I can honestly say the the nothing phone can stand it's ground on a side by side comparison. iphone is just way better in terms of the camera though.
I am so sad that I dont get a charger with my new iPhone, I only have 6 USB-C chargers laying around and I would really like to increase my collection :)

Tbh I can’t wait to test this phone I have a 13 pro max and I’ve always been a fan of apple but because of the design on the nothing phone 1 and the facts that’s android has more apps gets me excited for this phone hopefully USA shipping will be available in the next few months

So having an iPhone 13 pro, I think I'll finally replace my side android phone the ol' Nexus 5 to this.
Even though Carl Pei is behind the Nothing company, it really feels like a startup so the ‘love’ is very noticable.
This comparison is great. The Nothing holds up quite well. Especially with that price point and what you get it’s remarkable. When it comes to the cons, speakers and cameras it’s a bit sad but I think that a lot can be fixed with updates. On a esthetic level it’s so refreshing.
Overall: it makes the 13 look a bit outdated in comparison and the differences aren’t that big as I thought it would be. Nothing did a great job. I hope that they uplift the OS A bit more.

for their first phone they're giving apple a wake up call. in terms of base phones, with a couple tweaks i think they can compare.
I have both phone and I prefer Nothing 1 over apple. Apple doesn't allow you to customize anything
The best thing that Nothing can do is provide durable devices, if there are quality issues, then it’s dead meat, it’s ofc can’t compete with iPhone but that’s ok, as long as it’s a decent android..
Design and price wise I'd take the Nothing but I love Apple's performance, One Plus really tempted me at the beginning of the company
If you are not rendering videos or playing cpu/gpu intensive games on max quality like genshin impact, then you won't even notice any difference. And nothing phone will still feel much smoother due to its 120hz display.

Face Unlock on Nothing Phone 1 is better than my iPhone XS. It takes straight to Home Screen unlike iPhones which requires a swipe.
Nothing has face unlock too. In fact android in general has always had face unlock since Android 4.0.
Nothing phone is not competition for iPhone because they are two different OS. You should compare with any other androids instead

dont like Android and prefer iOS. When buying phones only thing matters is battery, i dont care about camera.
I am switching (back) to android (nothing) after 3 month of using the pro max 13, because apple is just missing many many features and the is is kinda meh

You buy iPhone for integration to other Apple devices (ecosystem), ease of upgrade, well thought of features that don't constantly change and lose support or break easily, and lastly security and privacy.
If you prefer features in Phones... android would be a better choice. You have to wait like 2-3 years before Apple does its take of an Android feature. And usually when Apple does a feature it is well integrated and simple to use. Apple's philosophy in minimalist design means they take time and not just make something because of the heck of it. I believe they leave this to apps. In fact in iPad they don't have a calculator app because they cant still settle a good design of one.
@@earlnoli I bought the iPhone to give it a chance after 10 years to prove to me, I am wrong for judging them at selling high and delivering low. Idc about a eco system- that’s just part of their selling strategy because they no longer are top of the ladder - sadly. Pretty phone, good battery but the rest :(

Good economy phone. What makes me not wanna get it is low camera quality and no IP68 water proofing. I can’t take my chances.
The front of the phone is identical to xiaomi 11 lite series. When it came out, I actually thought it was a customized xiaomi 11 lite. Lol
U should compare the Nothing Phone against the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
I don’t think to feel premium it should be heavy, if then , rock will feel more premium than diamonds

Hv used and return, np1 is a beautiful device, uh ll fall instantly love with. Display and sound r good and fast. Camera is below average and reason to return, dust particles entering back panel and noticable as its transparent. Carl should check the qc and team and der should be at least ip 67 rating as its a transparent design. For the price they are offering- its a great deal and option.

I got it at 399€, Christmas. No issues at all. Only thing to improve is shutter lag. Great powerful nice looking phone with Stock Android, 3 Years OS Updates / 4 Years Security Updates, Wireless and Reverse charging.✅
No other midrange have all this.

Visually, this is a 10/10. Unfortunately i decided do go back to iPhones after i've had my P30 Pro... Simply because it integrates much better with my MacBook Air M1 and my iPad that i use for University. Otherwise, especially visually, this would be a real option.
You are far better off with something proven like an iPhone. Nothing phone 1 is like a beta product because it is the first phone of that company. We will see how they develop in the future

I would like to see Apple get some real competition. Nothing should screw them over with a phone just as good for half the price, with an addition of a watch (they already have the earbuds, but I don't know how good they are)
You can't compare midrange to almost a flagship it's not comparable and also double the price but the nothing 2 is 680dollars

I personally think the you sound very bias towards the nothing phone in the first few minutes. secondly I don't get what a consumer gets from the comparison between the two. I am an iPhone user and although I liked many Android phones that came out along the years I've always went with apple because I like and trust the apple's OS better then android.

@@GRWLX96 in 3 years the iphone will still be worth alot. Iphones dont loose their value that mutch. And the chip in the nothing phone cant handle gaming now, think how it will be 3 years down the line. The iphone will last twice as long and still be worth money

Maybe the flashy lights are enough to make this phone sell. Its pretty cool. That's the only thing that thisnphone has going for it.
I can easily find loads of phones with the 778g that are cheaper and with comparable or better features.
My gimmick phone of choice at this price point would be the Black shark 4 which has shoulder buttons for gaming. It also has a snapdragon 870 and its still cheaper at £389. Its a hugely better phone than the nothing. 🤷♂️
Yeah, but it's a gaming phone. not everyone wants a gaming phone. the 778g is plenty powerful for day to day use and the display on the nothing phone looks amazing for daily use. You could find some more 778g phones for cheaper, but most of the time it has bad software experience or low build quality and so on, I think that with the nothing phone 1 you pay for what matters, build quality, looks, display, and good enough performance
As a person who has a 778G phone (I've an A52s with the 778G unlike np(1) with 778G+), which is REALLY good for gaming as well as daily use!

I don't why people complaint about android. IOS AND ANDROID has their Pros and Cons. I think people has the idea of what android was years ago. Nowadays Android software is fluid and even sometimes faster than IOS. I have and iPhone 13 pro and aPixel 6 pro. None of the software is perfect, but both works fine. Nothing phone is almost perfect on his range price. It should be very fluid with ram and higher refresh rate that has.. The only thing I didn't like was the front camera on the side. Why...! Either way, I went to the website to see prices and the phone is already sold out on his first day on sale.

This might be a side phone to my iPhone 13 Pro. I feel Nothing beats out the new Pixel 6a and the iPhone SE 3 easily. I still don’t really know if this beats iPhone 13 though in my opinion. Nothing? Arguably more versatile. iPhones? Reliable.
