The project is an open world of Half-Life 2.
Despite the name "City-17", in this project, together with the legendary occupied city, which has long been in dark tones from the presence of the Combine, you will find all the locations from Half-Life 2. Every corner from there is present on the map. From the monstrous Citadel, menacingly standing in the center of a large city, like a spire, where the ruler of the Earth sits and controls what remains after the Seven-Hour War, to the rundown houses of cramped Ravenholm and rebel bases, always hiding from the all-seeing eye of the Combine. From the dirty river canals stretching for miles, on the banks of which there are long-abandoned factory complexes, to the same long rocky terrain, which was once a highway near the seashore, leading to a huge dungeon of fear for those who decided to go against the regime of the Union of Universes - to the Nova Prospekt prison.
The project also features locations from other parts of the vast Half-Life universe and its mods. Do you want to visit the Black Mesa complex or its eternal competitor Aperture Science (built on the basis of all Portal parts and mods), wearing the skin of a scientist? You're welcome! Or are you a Beta fan? Then for you there is a dark and scary City-14 on the project, along the streets of which faceless creatures in gas masks always walk, because miles away, in the wasteland, where there used to be a water surface, and now only sand and dirt, there is a lonely, but at the same time a huge Depot with an Air Exchange that poisons the air of the planet "Earth".
"- Nope.. I liked Alyx's journey from the new game more.." - And, imagine, this is also there. Alyx's apartment with a view of the Citadel, the Northern Star Hotel with working substations. Small courtyards of houses, combined with factory parts and a distillery, overlooking a majestic Vault guarding a mysterious bureaucrat locked in a cell and waiting for his finest hour.
Or you can go through something that you will never go through in your life - Half-Life 3 with the legendary icebreaker "Borealis", left in the ice of the Arctic Pole.
And this is only a small part of everything that is. This map is an open, huge world where there is everything you want. From maps from Garry's Mod, to own locations. Factories, infrastructure, subways and dungeons. This is an open world, because who can be interested in a corridor, a cramped world? To nobody.
And this whole world is not created for a walk, but for RP. Take a friends, choose a role and enjoy!
And if the project seems too gigantic to you, then there is a TARDIS on the map that will send you to the point you set.

This is awesome - do you think after you finish half life you’d start anymore projects ? It would be cool to see all of killzone 2 in minecraft for killzone role play , 😃 helghan docks and the city , visari’s palace , etc , every level in the game could fit in a minecraft world and all link up nicely. Some of killzone 3’s areas.would fit in too.

Будет версия карты для РП без командных блоков?
Карта и так строится под РП стилистику. А зачем делать версию карты без командных блоков? Карта потеряет огромный функционал и во многих местах будет неиграбельной.
Слушай... ты знаешь Nether hill? и что это был за корабль из твоей карты который был возле титаника?
Nether Hill не знаю. Про какой конкретно ты корабль спрашиваешь? В порту ещё 2 корабля помимо Титаника: грузовое судно и военный флот Альянса.
Кста, какую систему оповищения использовал?

Системы оповещения комплекса являются миксом из разных игр. Но насколько я понял использовались:
Система оповещения "Черной Мезы" из Half-Life/Black Mesa
и интерком комплекса из SCP: Containment Breach.

@@redacted2053 На самом деле я упомянул интерком из SCP только из за звука отключения. Первый вариант, на деле - один из звуков, что издает SCP-079, а второй - звук отключения интеркома комплекса, когда им пользуется МОГ.

Переименовывай иногда названия видео, я например не очень разбираюсь в английском, да и тем более язык в самом видео русский и комментаторы тоже русские
каким образам именно он должен переименовать название видео объясню:
1. City 17 Grand project это название проекта который ориентирован не только на русскую аудиторию
2. Vlandask Science это название места на карте этого проекта и если его перевести то получится Наука Вландаск не очень звучит ведь так?
3. HALF-LIFE 2 название игры из которой они и взяли идею данного проекта
4. in MINECRAFT это то где сделан этот проект
таким образом в сухом переводе игнорируя то что половина названия видео это имена собственные получаем:
Вландаск Наука -Город-17 [Большой Проект] (ПОЛОВИНА-ЖИЗНИ 2) в КОПАТЬКРАФТ
