Awesome! Another demonstration of great customer focus!
Suggestions: (1) add the ability to "name" a keyfob with, for example, a club member's name so that keeping track of multiple keys is easier. (2) record keyfob interactions in the logs to make it possible to track "who" and "when" someone is using the plane...
Thank you for the feedback!
Great video. Love what you are all doing
Great product, well done!
Thank you
Can i submit a feature request to add a friendly name for the keys, so we can see which key belongs to who?
Very nice. This is one of the things I like about MPB... you're actually out there innovating in ways that really make the whole environment better.
I'm close to starting my install and have the Intellikey - if I wanted to upgrade, is it fairly easy to change up if I wanted to?
Just the intellikey portion will be just plugging in the new unit. To get the data and audio going would be a small amount of work.
Great new video and exciting updates. Is there time to add this to my TSi this summer? Thank you!
Yes we can add it
I am excited to have this in my RV-10. Will the logging be associated with the key-fob used to start the plane. That may be useful for clubs.
Thanks.
No logging as of now. Updates are easy to do, though ;)
These innovations are amazing, what an exciting system! Quick question: if and in-flight engine failure occurs with a simultaneous electrical malfunction, could there be a scenario where an engine restart cannot be attempted due to IntelliKey? Thanks!
Letas add to that your prop stops windmilling But yes without electrical power no system will allow a start. If power is only lost to Intellikey then no problem, the fail safe in the event of power loss to the unit is to allow start but again, all starters require electrical to work.
@@MidwestPanels copy, that's great to know about the fail safe! I appreciate the insight.
@@LeftyJr107 Thank you for watching!
Since I have already lost my key once while on vacation this would be a great gadget addition to my Bristell. I have a G3X installation with the ACS ignition key (L-R-Both-Start) and a 912ULS. Would you be able to provide me with a wiring diagram so I have to spend less time for the installation? Bristell did not provide detailed electrical plans for my Bristell and I have not worked much yet on the Rotax electrical part.
Thanks for watching, is your Bristell an LSA? If so you will need an LOA to put the Intellikey on.
@@MidwestPanels My Bristell RG is registered in Germany as an ultralight so I think that does not apply.
@@michaelrobbig-reyes5525 ok, what we would need to do is have toggles installed for the Mags and then put the start button in place of the current key switch, is this something you have panel space for? Yes, we can help with diagrams.
