I love to see Wyatt getting more recognition. If you’re new to his music, check out these songs: Please Don’t Go, Losing Sleep, Milwaukee, West of Tulsa, Holes.
The minute this song started I knew I loved it, then it just got even better. Congratulations Wyatt on your first release, may you have a long and happy singing career.
I simply LOVED attending this taping of the Cobert Show, on my birthday! It was a thrill, when❤❤❤ Stephen called on me to discuss growing up in a large family! He is one of 11, while I am the oldest of 9! What a totally gracious host Mr. Cobert is! He had terrific guests on this show! It was a simply awesome birthday present getting tickets for the show! I am looking forward to attending a future taping!❤
New happy fan. The lyric …..”without killing me.” kills me every time. There are four other songs of his i love …i imagine ill like more in the weeks to come. Wyatt reminds me of Dwight Yoakum, although they don’t look or sound alike. But both took country music and made a left hand turn or something - something beautiful and rare that transcends the usual country hits. Steve Earle had a similar unique twist on country music, but I haven’t heard any songs from him in years. His lyrics , in “Hillbilly Highway” and “Copperhead Road” are so evocative. I don’t listen to country. But you guys create this brew all by yourselves.. Wyatt, your band is fantastic. And the woman who plays the violin? viola? string instrument of some kind - she is heartbreakingly talented. Wyatt, I see your tour schedule doesn’t include a stop at Hell’s Half Acre….I mean, Indianapolis. Please perform here. We’re not all gibbering idiots - although many of us are. And thank you to the wonderful Stephen Colbert. I loved him before he introduced you to millions of viewers. - so I really love him now. Congratulations on being a talented as f*ck, and I’m so glad the world is learning to love you as I have.🙋🏻♀️
Wyatt is together with Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Kolton Moore, Colter Wall, Oliver Antony, Shane Smith and many others young country singers the new breed of western music. Amazing country music these artists are producing!!! Thanks!
Again, another AMAZING artist discovery from Colbert! Steven really knows his music! You know how needs to be on there next? Amethyst Kiah! Go listen to “Silk and Pedals”. You’re welcome.
Beautiful song, always reminds me of that one woman you love so much but she wants to be free. She loves you but not enough to give up her lifestyle. In the end, you love her for who she is or let her go with your heart breaking.
It's a special feeling to see a performance like this on the same stage from which the Beatles took America by storm on Sunday evening, February 9th, 1964.
@@Sven7-x1b Oh wow, you should totally check out a young kid out of Minnesota named Bobby Dylan! He’s been doing the exact same thing for about 200 years now!
Here from Germany I'm not really fluent so to understand the lyrics completely i maybe have to translate them But that's a nice song 💙 Goes directly to my car driving playlist 👌
Stay real and don't get frosted by all the pitfalls of the music scene. Lots of broken horses too old and weak to make it any other way but using new fresh talent with dreams and good intentions. Keep your game tight and focus on your music, not the temptation. 😁
You always book great talent. Have you ever heard science fiction rock? Well, could you book MARKO HIETALA - 'Left On Mars' (feat. Tarja Turunen) and expose it to Americans who may not know? Oh, and, mey the force be with you.

For real! His come up has been so great to see, hope for only more success here on out
I never heard of Wyatt before. He now has a new fan in me.
I’ve seen Wyatt in concert 4 times and met him 3 times he’s a great guy so cool to see him on Colbert
I love to listen to the Colbert… Can we also please have videos of the band playing music during commercials!?!?
The minute this song started I knew I loved it, then it just got even better. Congratulations Wyatt on your first release, may you have a long and happy singing career.
That is exactly what I thought and that it got better too even when I loved it it first

My first time hearing this guy and i love him. What a fresh sound and face!!
Loving this music! Will definitely look for more from Wyatt!
What a nice song ❤
Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
WOW! Great singer with a FANTASTIC band. I agree with the Jackson Browne comparisons. Can't wait to hear more. I really like the fiddle player 🙂
Always looking for new, excellent music and this checks all the boxes !!
A good sound and image. Nice writing and musicianship between instruments. Clearly conductive.
Respect, A Perfect Song!
I really like him! Thanks for introducing us!
I like it, Good Job, folks. Sweet tune. Thanks
One of my favorites out there right now!

He is awesome in concert. The future is bright for this one.!!!!!! Thanks Colbert

@@uckbee This guy doesn’t even rate a solo Pete Best much less the Beatles.
Great song. Added to my library
As someone that was hanging out with him in Atlanta when this premiered this is amazing to see I’m so happy for him
Yes, love Wyatt Flores , he's worth checking out
listening to this in the background and i coudnt remember if this was spotify or the live version
Never heard of him. Sounds great.
This is great
He reminds me of a criminally underrated singer songwriter named Gabe Lee , I’ve followed for years.
Yes some Gabe lee
What a great way to take an old song and make it your own! I dig it!❤
@@Sven7-x1b Oh wow, you should totally check out a young kid out of Minnesota named Bobby Dylan! He’s been doing the exact same thing for about 200 years now!
Let's go youngblood!
You can see with Stephen that it was time to go because he was out of time.... Because I appreciate when he appreciates a performance 😊
Perfekt 🤸🏼♀️
💜
Nice play off the lyrics from this old classic folk song. Really lovely. #GOTV
After this song, go listen to "Break My Bones" then come back. You'll see him differently. (In a good way.)
I just listened to Break my Bones. Thanks for the suggestion.
What a powerful voice this man has!
Solid
⭐⭐⭐!
Here from Germany

Still trying to save her but slowly coming to the realisation she will be the one doing the saving.
Doesn't he look a lot like Lou Diamond Phillips?
SOOO Very early Jackson Browne. Younger folks.. trust me. Jackson Browne's first two albums !!
No one said it better. Trump knows things he doesn't know.
More Likes For Stephen Colbert

Sounds great!! This is a cover fyi
Who?
ob ood...
no
No, just no. There is already a song called oh Susannah and that not this.
Gone are the voices of the likes of Waylon and Merle. This guy sounds like every other country song singer available on the radio... Not impressed.
That’s actually an original thought, nobody else has ever said that
What radio are you listening to? Cause he definitely doesn't sound like what they play on popular radio
