I'm exhausted and for once don't actually feel like rambling. Three things: 1) I love this song and it fit Romgess remarkably well. 2) Thank you, thank you to everyone who's been faithfully watching my videos of this underdog ship. (Admit it...Romgess is growing on you...) 3) Can we talk about the Romgess scenes lately?! HOW DID THE LITTLE KID KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT BURGESS TO CALL HER THE PRETTY POLICE WOMAN? DID ROMAN SHOW HIM PICTURES OR WHAT?

This couple really wowed me. I'm sad Roman is gone, but I don't lose hope that one day he'll come back to marry Burgess. Althought the way things are currently I see it a bit difficult, Adam is like Kim's shadow, he is always present...🤨😁
I really like Ruzek but I am starting to realize that Roman and Burgess are just better together. You don't realize how much they've been together and how they work together seamlessly, they know each other so well. This video perfectly shows how Roman has been by her side through everything all while loving her from a far. Soooo sweet. Perfect song and video. I love it! Thank you!!!

I like them together. There's just something between these two that is much more than just workplace partnership. It's realness/honesty without loosing the playfulness that pushes these two together. They can have a good talk and/or confront each other about anything without carrying on the drama/tension. I watched the recent episode (post Ruzek broken engagement) and I'm glad she called it off. Adam is an okay guy, but he is immature & all over the place for her. It's just heartbreak waiting to happen if they were to ever get married. She's had more grown up interactions/real talks with Roman than she's had with her now ex-fiancé. I think the writers are going to unravel more the Roman/Burgess partnership/relationship. He cares for her professionally and personally. They're both growing more as cops and individuals because of what they have together.

Yesssss!!! Thank you for vidding these two! I am of the unpopular opinion that Burgess is unbearably annoying, but I love her with Roman! (And that frees up Ruzek for someone better suited... I have never seen the chemistry there!)

This is a good. Roman and Burgess are perfect for each other and I am in the process of catching up with series. It was obvious of how Roman feels about Burgess espically when she was enaged to Adam.

Wow. Great work here - the song is perfect for this video (which I've just watched about 10 times!) I love the partnership Burgess and Roman have got. They really look out for each other, in every sense. After watching this I'm not sure a romantic relationship between them would work though. (I mean, really? He's fallen in love with THREE ex-partners??!? Not a great track record. If I were Burgess I'd have serious doubts about starting anything romantic with him.) Still, their friendship is so cute! And I can't help thinking Burgess should be having some of those "you don't need to hide anything from me" conversations with Ruzek instead 😞

+casgiatina I'm all in for Romgess (obviously 😉). While Roman has fallen "in love" with other partners, he also recognizes that they were fleeting infatuations. These experiences have made him wary of falling in love with someone he works with, but have also allowed him to try to keep Burgess from making the same mistakes he did. If he did start a relationship with her, I think it would be carefully considered. Also, Burgess was Ruzek's THIRD fiancé. That's way more serious than just falling in love with someone. Promising to spend the rest of your life with someone and then not taking it seriously is just trash. Ruzek is funny, but way too immature for Burgess. He brought the breakup on himself. I think Burgess and Roman are in the same boat of being let down by people they loved. I can definitely see them finding comfort in each other since they both "get it." Fingers crossed! +HawkeyeGin13 Oh I completely agree with you about Ruzek (aka the serial proposer). I think Burgess is far too good for him and deserves better. But I just can't see things working out for her with Roman if they get together now. There are too many potential complications and she needs to get over Ruzek first. I just really don't want them to get into something that ends up ruining their friendship. I'd quite like to see Romgess eventually happen a few years down the line when they've both sorted themselves out a bit (I LOVE being tortured by an extra-slow burning "will they/won't they" romance!!!) 😍

+Clem Lebleu This is why I love the CPD fandom...for the most part everyone just loves the characters and wants them to be happy. Ship wars are few and far between. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video despite shipping Burzek. I agree that Ruzek's behavior has made it hard to like him this season, which is unfortunate. I look forward to seeing what happens in the next few episodes as well. I'm loving the building Romgess dynamic.
