Amtrak Silver Meteor Coach

On July 15 I went for my first amtrak trip. On the Silver Meteor I wanted to show the Coach experience. Thanks For Watching Please Share

Yes you can get reasonable sleep ive now taken the train twice and its much nicer than driving

Thank you very much for showing there is a leg rest is available! I've been wondering and haven't seen it in any other videos for Silver Star or Silver Meteor. Do you know if the leg rest is on Silver Star coach as well?

Yes there are leg rests ont he silver star coach because the run the same type of coaches the amfleet 2

How bad was that tunnel that ends up in the Union Station in Washington DC?
Did you feel safe ? Was it long ?

I felt safe I took about 3/5 minutes to get through but the only issue was that the cars smelled like deisel fumes for about a minute

Is there an observation car on the Silver Meteor?

Unfortunately no because of high restrictions amtraks observation cars can't run on the Silver Meteor
