To be fair, failing a fusion during an alarm can be one of the best things that can happen, i've had a fail occur twice that made all the skills on the persona change to really good and late game passive moves.

Best way to abuse fusion fail, go to mementos. Travel through part two ramming enemies with ryuji's instakill skill until you trigger the alarm again double fuse the persona you get to trigger a failure and repeat. I was lv 25 and got my current best skill set with izanagi with retaliating body talent, onikagura taunt wage war tetrakarn dodge physical high counter rage boost. It also go ambient aid but I traded the skill for rising slash that he learns naturally.
In my early game of P3P, i think my party at the time was on level 13-16, I was making a fusion for oberon level 15 and then the fusion failed and gave me a loki on level 63, it was the first and only time fusion fails gave me something good on that playthrough.

In my early game of P3P, i think my party at the time was on level 13-16, I was making a fusion for oberon level 15 and then the fusion failed and gave me a loki on level 63, it was the first and only time fusion fails gave me something good on that playthrough.
Orpheus clearly didn't like getting turned into a unicorn.
