- So it's almost a month after the multiplatform release of P5R. So here it is, my progress at the end of my NG+ playthrough. In P5R, there is a super boss in the third semester only accessible in NG+, Lavenza, and she only can be fought prior to February 3rd, the final day of the game. The problem here is that both Akechi and Yoshizawa get their third awakening Personas pretty late, on February 2nd compared to the other party members, and that day is story locked to awaken their Personas. So the question is, what if we can bring their third tier Personas, along with their third tier skills Rebellion Blade and Masquerade respectively, against Lavenza which is not possible through normal gameplay? With the ease of modding on the PC version of the game, I guess we'll find out!

It's actually criminal that Ella and Hereward aren't playable under normal circumstances. They're arguably the coolest looking Persona evolutions.
Hereward is cool but Loki was way cooler in my opinion
Agreed. Hereward is badass and Ella is so beautiful. Locking them to the very final day is criminal. At least you can do challenges with them.

It’s worth mentioning that Rebellion Blade is the only Almighty Skill in the game that does “Colossal” damage, putting it as the second best almighty skill in the game next to Myriad Truths
Rays of control also does, but that's obviously enemy exclusive

Rebellion Blade is the second best almighty skill after Myriad Truths only if the target is downed, otherwise Satanael's Black Viper outclasses it. But you are absolutely correct that it is the only almighty, actually, the only magic skill that is Colossal-tier.
Myriad Truths is broken as hell and that is why people win against her so easily.
It's upsetting they give you Akechi's Stage 3 at the worst possible time,
And it's absolutely worse that [REDACTED] throws out bless attacks too
I call it Power Bomb syndrome. When you get some really cool upgrade right at the end of the game leaving you with very little actual use for it unless you're backtracking, which often isn't even that much.
I usually throw the repel magic item on Akechi in the final boss fights lmao
@@shinysamurott613 it’s like the Metroid upgrade in Metroid Dread, they basically go: “hey you absorbed a Metroid and now you’re super powerful, you only get 5 minutes until the whole planet fucking explodes tho”, they should give the “Power bomb” as a reward for 100% the game or something
@@shinysamurott613I’m playing through the metroid series rn and it’s crazy only Samus Returns and Super have a good amount of time to use power bombs

Yup this explains why we cant have the OP third tier for Sumire and Akechi, since its just that strong. Close to DLC skills, heck in the challenge battle, when you complete the strongest protags, you get the Arms master skill accessory.
But thanks for answering the question, why we cant have Akechi nor Sumire 3rd tier skill against Lavenza
Even on the first phase of the true final boss Sumi’s 3rd tier skill is ungodly strong lol
Since the boss shills Baton Passing a lot, Masquerade on the 4th pass shreds his hp bar in two

Masquerade would probably do the same if you were able to build your party's personas with the velvet room.
@@ren2089 You kinda can achieve a similar level of customization with the Jazz Club though. The stat boosts it gives can bring all of your party members to have maxed out stats after a number of playthroughs, which is the only thing Sumi is lacking to be able to reach damage numbers comparable to Yoshi's Hassou-tobi.
@@-penta-1357 but you cant modify traits, which is by far where most of the dmg comes from.
@@ren2089 True enough, but having Ryuji's trait activating when Sumi's Masquerade is used can already make that be a non-issue. Although I do understand that it's less reliable than having a trait that consistently boosts her damage.

Masquerade dropping during the beat drop was the best feelling better
Lavenza attacking isn't random btw it's every turn you don't attack her that she attacks
Although the target of the attack still seems to be random, people just seem to miss the very easy trigger

how do you get Thermopylae to work outside of being surrounded?
by using vitality of the tree trait from attis, alternatively you can use female orpheus' neo cadenza as the dlc is free on the ports.

How did you use the mod menu to get the 3rd tier Personas? I tried using the menu myself today and at most it evolved the party member's Persona's to tier 2 only. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks.
I didn't evolve the party's Personas with the mod menu. I merely loaded the Lavenza fight on 2/3 through it.

Itemize the 3rd semester treasure demon, the skill itself is meh in my opinion, I only used it for the +7 all stats bonus.
I'm new to the game, how do you get all those passive skills on personas? Is it through skill cards or fusions or what?

Is Will of the sword better than Intense focus and Mighty gaze on Satanael?
All 3 increases magic damage by 1.2x if calculated. Intense Focus only works for Black Viper, Mighty Gaze only for Megidolaon. As for Will of the Sword, it can proc on both as it's not restricted to single-target or multitarget magic, with the cost of it being restricted to proc only when Joker has concentrate active. I chose WotS over the two as it will also buff any showtime attacks that Joker activates, as long as he has Charge active (showtimes are strength-based almighty, so equip an almighty persona before activating it to increase the damage).
@@Zrego Thanks, it’s just that i made a build of Satanael with Pagan Allure and i read online that it caps the damage, and since i have Almighty Boost + Amp + Magic ability and Tyrant’s Mind i was wondering which trait does the most damage
@@getfixedlem Yeah Pagan Allure shouldn't be used for builds with Boost + Amp + Magic Ability. Tyrant's Mind does bypass the damage cap though which is good. I recommend WotS the most for Almighty or Gun Satanael. Pagan Allure works best for builds with multiple elemental skills as it is basically a universal Magic Amp.

EPIC party panel for the HP/SP status, and Colorful Cutins for the party's critical close up with different colors.
question: How were you able to have those third tier personas even though two are only for the final day? I thought new game plus gets rid of everything else except for the equipment, social statis, your collected personas for the main character, and the money you saved/earned.
this was a modded run to showcase akechi and sumi's true potential for this fight
Fun fact: The Chainsaw attacks in Labenza's fourth phase are less random than you think, Lavenza will use one (Ignoring turn order) if anyone did their turn without damaging her

Rebellion blade is op as heck. I tried to use mod menu too and give rebellion blade to one of my persona with passives

And will of the sword as the trait and 99 stat on ma. With all buff, debuff, downed, and sleep enemy i can go through 112k damage without baton pass on merciless. funnily enough if i tried baton pass the damage will caped at 99999.

True, just like Myriad Truths, Rebellion Blade can also one shot the Reaper. Shame Hereward isn't accessible early.

An insane thing is that Akechi doesn't even have concentrate on him, just to display how much additional dmg Rebellion Blade can deal with knocked down enemy. Nice video, and if possible, can you make a video comparing all almighty skills including InO's Myriad Truths together? With Megidolaon as a medium.
He's just fine as he is, otherwise that would be too broken for a party member, at least imo. In Royal, you have many sources to give him Concentrate anyways, for example Ann's High Energy, Haru's Star Onions, President's Insight, Gambler's Foresight, etc.
For the almighty skill comparison it would be fun to do, but someone already did it years before Royal went multiplatform.
I can rank them based on their power like so if you're interested (without mods):
Myriad Truths > Rebellion Blade (Downed) > Black Viper (Satanael) > Megidolaon (Satanael) > Morning Star > Abyssal Eye > Rebellion Blade (Not Downed)
While Rebellion Blade may not look that impresive on non-downed foes, it's still the strongest magic skill attainable for party members, beating Ann and Makoto's severe Fire and Nuke skills respectively.
Is persona 4 and 5 worth it?
