Thanks man you stay safe out there too! I'm digging that Kel-Tec y'all got! They make it tough for us here in California. but all let it be known, We locked and loaded...
Awesome man thanks for the information. I have always wondered this as I do have Duramaxtuner tunes .( 2011 LML) I did try and contact you awhile back but no response. So I will ask again. Between the two tunes which did you feel had more power ? I know you like DT and PPEI trans tune you said was not good . Just curious. Also did you actually have yours Smog tested? Thanks, Heber
Thank you Heber! Duramaxtuner.com Tunes are definitely faster, as far as 0 to 60 is concerned. For emission compliant Tunes only... And yes it has passed smog since the tunes were Installed. I appreciate the feedback Heber. I wish we could test these Tunes before we had to buy them, I'm just a regular guy with a regular job. And these Tunes are not cheap. I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. Any suggestions for future content would be appreciated. 😎👍
DURTYMAX LML Awesome thanks for getting back to me. So the DT tunes are faster if I read that right. I’m a regular guy to and I almost purchased the PPEI tunes like you did to see the diff as well. So your videos definitely help. I had mine smog tested a few months back but I put it back to stock and removed the switch. Now I know I don’t have to. I talked with Chris a few weeks back at DT and they are close to being 49 State Carb certified. So that will be cool. Heber
Before I smogged the truck I definitely put the stock tune back on but left the DSP switch connected. Emission compliant tuning does have its benefits. The truck doesn't smell like diesel, and the best part is how quiet the exhaust is while Towing.😎👍 Thanks again herber!
It can void your warranty, it all depends on your particular warranty Company/Manufacture. You can hide it up to a point by removing the Tunes, but if they investigate your PCM they will find a transition flash and in the ECM they may find a hot tune flash. It depends on how much they dig into the trucks commuter. For general rule I would say yes it would void your warranty, but I do know some people have gotten away with it. Thank you Noah Calviyo!
Thanks for the info
Great video man !!! As always
Stay safe out there!!!

Do you know if getting this tune would void your warranty??

With the tuner does it mess with the def system or help with any of the def stuff on the truck. Like pushing for regeneration sooner?
Yes It dose seem to Regen more often. But not much change to DEF system.
