This guy is obviously a pro and very knowledgeable. This video was absolutely packed with info and i appreciate the video editing/cutting you did. Very efficient video. Great work.
Hey, thanks for posting 2017 Kia Sorento, exactly what I have. Would love to see some more, in depth and detailed if you can.
Thanks for showing us this. I have to save some money, because I am saving up to do a "Timing Cover Gasket" repair. I can't do that myself, but doing the brakes, will allow me a little savings to apply it to that big repair. That repair sounds complicated, so I'm gonna let Independent Shop (Christian Brothers) do it. Thanks for helping.
great video. great advices. ill go for it. thank you very much!
great video. I think i have a same car, it comes with a button operated parking break. Do you have to disengage that before you service the breaks? Does the parking break affect the servicing? of the rear wheel maybe??
What's the minimum thickness the rotor can be after resurfacing.
AWESOME VIDEO BROTHA THANK YOU, SO MUCH HELP!!!
Could you add the torque specs?

Sorry I wasn't there to hold your hand
Been doing my brake for decades, and this was a pretty good vid.
Personally, I always clean out the slide pin hole of the old lube with q-tips, pencil, anything not liable to scratch and relube with sil-glyde or similar.
My wife's 18 Sorento 2.0 rear had no washers and replacement pack of pins and bolts also came with none?
Good vid, if you're replacing pads/rotor do it correct the first time with the proper slide pin lube and torque specs. Saving 5 mins and doing a half-assed jobs on brakes is going to leave you in a world of hurt if you have an accident and the insurance company can point to your non-professional maint. as partially responsible.
