Should I fire my cameraman for drinking on the job?
I say join him!
Give him a raise.
Lol! I think he learnt his lesson, but its kind of funny
I like him ! Keep him ! If you fired him I will unsubscribe
@@beautybyashhhx hes joking
I lived in Azabu Juban some years ago. The apartment was paid by my company but needless to say my clients were impressed and thought I was a millionaire. It definitely helped with getting new business.
What company were u working in?
@@j4fun19_9 Mc Donald
@@abhishekbhaskar2931 yes a millionaire McDonald’s employee
@@j4fun19_9 and 2350 people rated 5 star ⭐️ to this McD delivery boy 🤣🤣
Lol, talk about a poor mindset society, a decrepid nation, if the fall for the appearance.
Getting business like that, makes japan an easy mark for the top level scammers to "enter the chat"
Keep the Cameraman, a little bit of humor makes all apartment showcase fun
Lol, I enjoyed the coke break
I REALLT love that you show the blueprint and your location inside of it. Almost no one else does this, and it helps so much! Thank you
Man with my obsession with Japanese apartments as well as being an advertising student, working with Tokyo Portfolio would be a dream job for me😞
Excellent improvements! Could you add text at the beginning of the video showing how many bed, bath, square meters, price, etc. Helps to get a feel of the scale of things. Also showing the square meters of each room in the diagram would be cool.
True

lmao "are you drinking coke, come on your shooting" love it guys keep at it!
Always look forward to ur uploads man. This one flows alot better than the others. 🤙😎
Great video, I can definitely see the massive improvements in making it compared to your first one. Showing both the location on the floorplan, and physically moving from the door of the previous room to the next does wonders for understanding scale and dimensions. Looking forward to seeing more.
Alright!!!! A new video is up!! Seriously love watching these videos!! Keep up the good work Alex and crew!!
The place is pretty nice for Japan, I can understand the price given the luxuries provided such as location, appliances, amenities, etc. But what I cannot understand in the slightest is the astronomical monthly fees. You mean to tell me that someone living there has to pay $1500+ for essentially having access to a "lounge" and having a clean building. No gym, no pool, nothing... Highway robbery!!!
If you watch his videos on from last to first. You can see an excellent ad for rogaine. The hair that creeps up on you.. BAM!!!
I love this channel! I recently decided that I wanna move to Japan and your channel is one of my favorite by far! The cameraman thing where you talk to him and sometimes interact I've seen that in other home tour channels as well, but I really like your dynamic here, like that one time you both got in the bath tub lol You're kinda chaotic which is to say the least unussual for this type of content, and you make it work really really well. Your videos are funny without loosing too much focus, and they're very informative as well, like showing the blueprints is a really nice touch.
Keep at it man! I'm actually subing. Would love to see the ocassional regular apartment/home, middle class stuff and all, for the regular people. Just ocassionally. Also weird stuff like that one house that had a tiny house inside, that was actually dope lol
aaiiyoo our man is back!! Thanks for uploading the vid(love the floor heating), keep up the good work. Looking forward to another video. Oh and I enjoyed your best place to live series.. See ya~
Yo the way the dude interrupted with drinking coke soda was Priceless hilarious 😂
There's so many good one liners in here. Great video. Love your content and have really enjoyed your appearances on other channels as well.
Excuse the spambot. Thanks so much and stick around for more in the near future!
love the fact that you describe the area around the building, the apt itself is awesome, glad someone thought an oven is worth putting in a $4m condo. i do wish the japanese figures out how to better integrate the IT for the house in 1 tablet for this level of condo.
awesome vid as always
love the videoes, very nice edeting and everything. keep it up man.
Really nice video, thanks so much for sharing 😊😊😊
Another great video!
Finally a new Tokyo Portfolio video😍👌🏻
I like how the music faded out when you introduced the toilet, like even the audiotrack thought you made it weird lol
The music is sentient
Nice video and I really like this apartment ♥️
New video yay!
It's been too long, thanks for the vod
These videos are awesome.
Earned a sub. great review!
Really nice place, very western.
4 mil is a tad high for this as itself but since it's Roppongi i can see the price being raising by quite a bit. Looked at the area in G.maps and it seems it's also a quiet area at least from the afternoon till morning.
Things I wish were talked about in the video are if the apt has parking or other amenities in the building.
The only amenities the building has is a garage and the first floor lounge -- it's hard to find low-rise buildings with many amenities here due to space constraints.
In Tokyo you pay for the location much more than for anything else.
Very cool! Loved the tour. So glad Chris Broad referred your channel on his YT page.
So cool bro. Thank you.
Your channel has great potential!
Love this apartment, I love watching Homes on this channel knowing I can't afford any not that I live there ...
I’m definitely taking the Japanese toilet back to the US if/when I leave. I can’t imagine going back to a plain US toilet now 😆
I wonder why high tech toilets are normal, while ovens are rare.
@@Leenapanther Indeed
@@Leenapanther As he mentioned above, most japanese food dosent need an oven to prepare
Nice Apartment. Definitely like it. From here we can explore all the good eating places .
Great video! ✨😉👍
This is almost exactly the size of my apartment, which is worth like 200k rather than 4mil.. So tiny and crowded for the price.
Where is your apartment though?
It’s beautiful - I rly ❤️ seeing appartments. It’s too big for my taste but amazing bathtub 😄 Japan does that so well.
You should do more updates man really good content.
He came out that closet, and I'm here for it.
🤣🤣👍
Yeeeesss! Getting in the bath tub woo!
Nice apartment to live or invest. nice location. Definitely like it. Best Wishes and Profound Regards.
can we appreciate how he sold me on just the entryway, this guy is awesome
Good job as always Alex...but can i request more frequent uploads as i'm in love with the content you post...
I'm working on it -- already have the next one in the pipeline!
I second this
3rd that
i refuse to believe the coke break wasnt planned for the moment a mirror came into view lol
I don’t know he looked really annoyed 😒
i'm still super unsure too hahahaha
I can’t help but think that at lot of the conveniences mentioned, like a central light switch, or a remote door lock, are super simple to implement these days using smart home accessories 😅
while its quite nice, it doesn't feel $4 million nice. i guess what you're really paying for is location.
its kinda the same thing with say NYC. ur paying that only a part for the place, most for where it is. in NYC it's something like SOHO.
For a lot of people who aren't familiar, those air conditioning units are most likely Mitsubishi VRF mini split units that is connected to the large multi zone compressed out on the patio. The zoning makes the temperature perfect for each room. Some good and not so good things, as typical in Japan, the ceilings are always too low and many of the built in components can be a problem as they age. Overall, an excellent place and reasonable considering the prices in that part of Tokyo, the most desirable in my opinion. Would hate the kitchen however and use a Japanese toilet myself which are the best.
Split systems are common the world over. In Australia all apartments have split systems and not building wide. Building wide doesn’t make sense. My apartment has one. And my country house has two (one in the bedroom and one in the lounge). Each with their own outdoor unit.
love the videos!
I would also like to see how a larger, luxury house looks like that is outside of the city, where you would get more real estate for the same money :)
Sorry for the spambot. My next video will be something similar to that so keep a look out!
@@TokyoPortfolio ah, I was wondering haha.
Okay great! I'm really looking forward to it (^_^)/
May I ask: does it have ethernet wire and coax cable on wall outlet?
can you review what traditional Japanese house? like in Kyoto or Hokkaido?
Nice video. Personally, if I am going to pay 4 mil for a place in Tokyo it absolutely would have a nice view of the city.
Most if not all apartments in Australia (unless hotel or services apartments maybe) have individual air con (split systems actually heating and air con in one unit). Looking at mine right now.
I love how strongly you pronounce "Bach!!!"
I like this place 😺
You two are doing a wonderful job. And you are gifted with the most pleasant voice. For me, the apartment feels claustrohobic, but I think the shoe and coat closets, the bathroom programmer, and the emergency thing that should actually exist in every home.
If you think this is Claustrophobic than your gonna be in for a shock if you search a regular sized apartment for a decent price
Claustrophobic lol
He's so handsome and cool.
Great apt too
7:16 *"MASSIVE"* in Japan means quite small. 😁
Yep
Such an ordinary apartment.Nothing actually beautiful or aesthetic about it.for that amount of money one can buy four apartments in our country .with beautiful view of the ocean.
Thank you FAMILY GRUL
4:04 - "Coming out of the closet"
Me: ~Cries~ I'm so proud of you!
Hahaha jk
he looks like tarantino
Thanks can you do family homes also rentals
Hey, Ive seen you from that capsule apartment video. Funny how YT algoritm works
neat
Good show 👏 ss
This looks like my house in Brazil and it was way cheaper with the perks of having fresh fruit from the garden
Alex and getting in bathtubs. Name a better combo
Should see the nice apartment in NYC, SF, or other places. No big deal! 😆
Alex is "coming out of the closet" at 4.06 😂
I would love to give those "pleasant donations"
It's really a one bedroom apartment, but it is very nice!
I know this building..it's quite near from my church.
Naughty cameraman! 🤣
Tbh i don't know if i could live without a full kitchen.
Bath, office, living room, guest room, view i can live without... but a kitchen idk man.
Is it really that hard to get a decent kitchen in Japan (oven, hob, grill, fridge, freezer)?
It's only missing the fridge and freezer -- almost no place here comes with them included.
What do you mean? What is a "full kitchen" to you?
Great video but was a little surprised that you tossed the AC controllers on the floor - not sure the owner would have appreciated that, not cheap to replace when broken.
Love the "add" for Coke lol....
🎉🎉🎉
Great video. But the price...excessive. Even in Manhattan, San Francisco, or Belgravia in London, a condo with the same square footage and quality of finishes, will be 1.5 million, tops.
Wait, do their washing machines not have their own elements inside them to heat the cold water?
Great video, as usual. I'd love to see more furnished apartments though.
Btw, do you know any "author apartments" or "architecture apartments" in Tokyo?
They're hard to find, but I'm always looking for one to film. Keep a lookout on my channel for some in the future.
Whats included in the management fee and what other amenities are available in the apartment?
Sorry for the spambot. The management fee covers concierge, meeting room, and lounge use, as well as window cleaning, AC and vent filter replacement, and a discount on the Hills Spa, the extremely high end gym and spa complex down the street in Roppongi Hills. It also gives you access to Roppongi Hills Club, the high-end lounge on the top of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, and Ark Hills Club, a similar place in Ark Hills.
The shower is used before the bath so that you do not get the bath water dirty.
@4:04
Im dying XDDDD
"This guy right here" is a sink sprayer!
The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the closed layout, I much more prefer an open layout concept.
@4:04 it is 2022 you can tell people ... xD
I have yet to see a property better than the one he showed Chris broad the first time. Maybe the one with the second floor made by the owners or Apa hotel but besides those some are just a mess with the positions of something. Sometimes underwhelming for it's price
heres a question for you. if a foreigner buys a condo like this can the "wall panel controls" be changed to english?
Yeah, it's totally up to you what you do after you buy it!
Miele dishwasher a very expensive dish rack.
Ok first of all, your videos are great, I love the flow, the floor plan views, the area around the house etc. But. But. 4 million dollar house and the shoe closet has the same cabinet as my parents old 40m2 Soviet-era flat in a 10 story block apartment house. Jeebus people.
It's alright. Quite a nice place especially for Tokyo. Though it's way too expensive for a place that size, I would say. The only thing that makes it worth the price is the location. Would have been enticing if it was more around the 800k-1mil range.
even in the US most expensive neighborhoods this would be under 2 million. With no view. most other places 300 to 500k
O sea, lo que yo puedo conseguir en Fisherton en Rosario, Arg. por 160.000 dolares!
I know I’m late to this party but for $4.0 mn I thought it was a very poorly designed apartment. Kitchen sink too big and should have been divided. Kitchen could have had shelves on the blank end wall - wasted space. WHAT - no entrance to the courtyard from the lounge???? And the entrance from the bedroom was not down to the floor but step UP? And for $4 mn 2 of those bedrooms were pretty bad and small. PS despite my comments about the apartment I do love your videos.
nice tour. doesnt seem very cozy, too much money and that management fee 😬
Genuinely curious about the electricity bill in a month x_x
Para estrangeiros ê o mesmo valor? Obrigado
enamorada del camarógrafo JAJAJA
so it's like 5mil each month right?
10:50 Lmao!! Wth 😂
