I read In the Heart of the Sea for 'fun' a while ago. It is one of the best non-fiction books for casual readers. The author stays focused and keeps a good pace. He also fills in enough background information that people unfamiliar with the whaling industry, ship life, and relevant social/political trends can keep up without doing a bunch of independent side research. If you did want to, however, he provides a lot of detailed resources and footnotes. Warning, it has a fair bit of graphic violence and detailed cannibalism. It's a complete presentation of a historical tragedy.

I feel like that very oversized fit is really popular with the younger generation right now. When I'm out around town, all the younger people are dressed like that. Big jackets, with really loose pants, crop tops, bucket hats, and super chunky shoes. They remind me of those cute cartoon vending machine stickers you could get in the early 2000s. The ones with the really big, chibi feet.

Also, there's a difference between a properly oversized and just wear large clothes... It's all about proportions.
