    This is such a cool concept, really shows how fashion can be used on a personal level to express yourself. The collaboration on pieces feels like a conversation between two people without words being spoken.

    I love how Thebe actively participates on the actual making of the garment, he sews, cuts the fabric, creates the crown. This is magic and fashion happening together.

    I love how Piccioli added a pink touch to the ensemble, in the same colour as his original gown, to represent the collaboration and union of the two creative minds.

    Thebe’s piece took my breath away when they revealed it. Wow. Also - I’m not sure why Vogue didn’t show the artists’ reactions, I would have loved to see PPP’s response.

    I really hope Vogue continues doing this series. I absolutely love this idea of intercultural dialogue through the clothing and deconstruction and up cycling clothes. Some suggestions for the future: First Nations and other Indigenous designers, India, South America, Arab swapping with European and Western designers

    Yes just like Thebe said, upcycling is totally the future especially considering fabric waste contamination. A lot of small business owners like myself are doing just this, so its great that also big brands and designers are giving it a try.

    I love that the pieces look like a pair of friends going out for dinner. One more classic and structured and the other more forward-thinking and full of drama, they pair and reflect but are each their own statement.

    I think designers redesigning each other's previous designs, is a great idea, and a fantastic way to help reduce fast fashion.

      Yes, I agree. Not sure that fast fashion will be impacted by this practice. The fast fashion consumer does not purchase garments fashioned by haute couture designers. Maybe I am missing something. Open to other perspectives.

    I love Thebe's thoughts and statements regarding the upcycling and reworking of garments, and Pierpaolo's statements regarding culture, and how the culture of two designers can meet and merge due to this project. Super cool video, would love to see more.

    When Thebes said he was going to reconstruct the dress, I almost cried. Like how could you do that to a Valentino dress. When I saw the final product, again I almost cried.     Icredible how they matched the fuschia pink to the one of the dresses' and I love how they meshed their logos. Also, the fact that the models are African and Italian is amazing.

    This is getting me so emotional...such a great idea ...how they all give each other space and respect...and it is also testament to the fact that talent is universal ..opportunity and resources Are not ...we know pierpaolo and his talent is familiar and worth every bit of respect ...and comes with its own challenges...but Thebe you held your own... you presented a look worthy of admiration and consideration in any environment.     This is.. incredible. This highlights the language of fashion. The incredible talent and vision of both. It is funny how Thebe said they would do the opposite when it seems PP made RTW and Thebe brought his own look into couture.

    I love this series. It perfectly embraces the concept of sustainability in fashion and shows how a garment can be reutilised and reinterpreted by two different people. I agree with others, the reveal to each designer should be shown 😊

    Please a lot more of this.
    I think Vogue is in the right direction of keeping the collaboration between the opposing classical couture and modern contemporary designers.
    Im hoping next we get more avant garde designer like Iris Van Herpen and Glen Martens, or the de la Renta duo and Jeremy Scott for contemporary or Schiaparelli’s Daniel Roseberry for couture to name a few.

    Thebe knocked this out of the park! I thought the trench would be my fav piece but really those pants come in so close at 2nd. this is genius. and I loved what he said about the nuance of African fashion.

    GAGGING. I had goosebumps. They're so beautiful! I can't lie, though. As much as I liked the cape the suit was HOT. That color, the fabric, the print. All perfection. I feel like they both had elements of Roman catholicism which was cool. Great collaboration! More episodes of these please, Vogue! I've been wondering if this was a one-time deal.
