This sounds like a great deal. All of their sabres include multiple sound fonts and changing colours, which is much better than ultra sabres where an empty hilt might cost more.

Sure if you want cheap product with cheap electronics and a garbage build ... Spend the money ultrasabers are 10x better
@@selenat3686 Crimson Dawn is an even cheaper saber company and if you live in the US, you probably get free shipping. They have more sound fonts and give you more customization including rgb, sturdy blades, blaster deflection, and a lot more so you should check it out.

@@selenat3686 I now own an ultrasaber, a rebelsaber, and a sabertrio. My Ultra is crap because the batteries pop themselves out with each swing. I've never had a problem with my rebel, it charges nice and sounds really good on all the fonts. And my trio Saber is one of their proffie sabers. I love the thing to death.
While ultrasabers look cooler than rebel sabers do, they have no function. They are built super cheap and way over upsold. They might be flashy, but the lighting isn't even that good comparatively. My rebel on near dead batteries is still brighter than my Ultra on brand new AAA batteries. Completely worthless.
This video is a big help I just ordered those two sabers last week and I couldn't find any reviews or information on them let alone a video.

Thanks, guys. I'm a single dad, and my son is getting into Star Wars in a big way during this quarantine. I've been wanting to find a saber for him that will be better than the $30 pieces of poodoo on sale at Target, but I don't have tons of spare cash lying around, and the prices are outrageous for anything decent. I saw Rebel and was curious, but I got nervous because a lot of comments online are saying they sold Chinese knock-off pieces. I think Ali Express uses some of the same product images, which may have led to that conclusion.
Anyway, thanks again. I'll be ordering the double set so my boy and I can have some epic battles. You really helped out here.

Late comment, but MOST Saber companies are reselling from LGT, which is a manufacturer in China. Often times they get the cores and blades and they either order hilt parts or fab the hilts in-house. LGT does have really good quality though, so it's totally safe and recommended to buy.
I happened upon them in a similar way, but instead it was a sponsored ad on Instagram. I already am planning on buying from them, so this video was really informative and a nice look at them in use

I bought the elegant whirlwind, and it said that it had a soundboard, flash on clash, and blaster clash, and I think it's pretty nice for 90$ this is the best one I've seen so far these guys deserve more clout for what they get.

Your review has been super helpful for making a decision! Im not sure if this feature came afterward but current rebelsabers do have 3 volume settings. Alot of peoole say medium volume is the best. Ive ordered a neopixel maul staff and im super excited for it! If anyone is wondering, their neopixel sabers come with a proffie 2.2 board so you can customize sound fonts and supports smooth swing!

So I went ahead and did a direct price comparison with an Ultrasabers lightsaber. In order to get the same features, you have to get one of TWO hilts they offer RGB LED with, and then go through an ungodly complicated process to make sure you pick the right features. In the end, with the FREE shipping, the cheaper of the two was 543 dollars and a few cents. Not to mention the US electronics are 10 eyars old because they refuse to upgrade. Ya know, because MONEY!
This video is actually what convinced me to buy from this company so thanks for putting it out here, it's basically the only real video review I could find.
Sometimes it’s worth doing the research! We have a US on the way but we ordered 3 weeks ago (it’s one of their more expensive customs) and we are not even thinking about it because we know it’ll just “show up” randomly. Until then we play with our rebel sabers, and most likely the US will go on a display shelf for aesthetic value
@@GalacticForceMedia Definitely worth the research. I have several from US but I was getting tired of how big they are (mind you I'm 6'2 and some of these are WAY too big to be comfortable to wield). Plus they're all one color unlesss you get a diamond controller. RS seems it will be a new contender for sure.

Life hack for muffling your rebel sabers speaker: simply cut a piece of that packing foam (that came in the box) to lower the volume. Trust me, it works, and you’ll be happy that you won’t get any complaints from your neighbors

Also for much better quality. US is crap and they think they are all that and a bag of chips when everyone I have spoken to says they are good shelf kings but that's it. What they think they make up for in design, they severely lack in quality.
I recently got my sabers from Rebel Sabers, and the major takeaway is that even on low volume, it sounds too loud. If I were to put this on mute, then that’s what the low volume SHOULD slightly sound like

@@mikekatz7840 I got them a while back, and honestly, I was very impressed. The quality of hilts were top notch and they really feel durable, especially if you start dueling with them. I think the only thing I didn’t like about them was the default grip, but that can be easily rectified through training or a leather wrap from SaberForge or some other site that sells leather wrap for lightsabers. Just don’t be an idiot like me and take the cellophane out of the blade 😆

Ill consider them for my next purchase since they're relatively cheap and look pretty good. They must be better when bought with two im assuming which is what id do haha

I’m relatively new to the lightsaber community (despite being a big fan of the Star Wars franchise) so I’m probably not the best authority on what may make a saber worthy of a hard look, but if I do get around to it, I’ll do my best. I like the pommel on the silver one. BTW, the voice for the dark saber sound font is Moff Gideon from The Mandalorian played by Giancarlo Esposito. You're right though about them being loud...my AliExpress LGTOY saber shares the same board and sounds as your Rebel Sabers.

I have 2 Rebel Sabers. My Obi Wan is great. My Starkiller I got earlier this year isn’t firing up anymore. Super bummed. I emailed them. And tried messaging on IG. Still no word back. So as of now my only warning would be to beware if you have trouble. You might be SOL

Great review, but one thing is, with the rebel sabers saber, you can change the volume.
This was filmed prior to being able to change the volume. their new board release has it (and we did a video on it as well 😉)

I just bought that black saber its called the black rook and you can adjust the volume. All rebel sabes have a volume control you just have to look up how to adjust it
We have since done numerous videos for RS. This video almost being a year old, they have since upgraded their boards.

The hilt is the same with as the blade , I think it would be a lot better if that hilt had a bigger size .

you must have been one of the lucky ones with ultra sabers. took months for us to get our first order, and currently waiting over a month for our last order. First order was a mystery box, and the current order is a custom. Good on you getting something cheap and fast from them! Nothing against Ultra Sabers at all!

@@GalacticForceMedia I can say that my orders from US were always fast, probably due in part to me living a few hours away from the shop itself. The big thing with US, though, is they have a very stupid and vague way of saying which are in stock. At least they did, it looks like it's changed. I also had to rip them a new one given on the second and third sabers I had ever ordered, all three of them being from them at that point, had something missing. I simply spoke with my wallet and let them know if they didn't fix it I would never buy from them again and go to their competitors. Never had a problem after that.
As far as right now, I think they announced there were delays of 3-4 weeks because of the pandemic.
If anyone happens to be having trouble figuring it out.
Lightsaber Instructions
Sleep mode operation:
When the saber is in deep sleep there will be no lights or sounds. To wake the lightsaber: hold down power button for 8+ seconds. A sound will play and the light ring around the power button will illuminate. The saber is now in awake mode.
Awake mode operation:
Volume
Hold the button until it flashes once and release. You will hear a response on the volume you’ve just selected. Repeat to change. Options are mute, softer sound, louder sound.
Holding the power button down for two flashes while the blade is off, but still in wake mode, will select a new blade effect: Pulse, Unstable, Stable.
Holding the power button down for three flashes while the blade is off, but still in wake mode, will select a new sound font (6 available).
Pressing the power button will turn the blade on and activate sounds and effects. When the blade is lit, the power button operates thusly:
Tap - blaster deflection
Hold 1 second (one button flash) then tap - saber lock-up
Hold 2 seconds (two flashes), then release and hold button once more to cycle blade colors. Once a desired color is reached, let go of the button and tap it to set the color, or hold to resume color cycling.
Hold 3 seconds powers off the blade.
Holding the power button down beyond the font change for 6+ more seconds will put the saber into deep sleep again. If the saber sits idle for 5 minutes it will also enter deep sleep again.

I'm considering buying the stalwart, mostly cause I don't want to spend more than 100 but it also looks cool, but one question I have is how long does it hold a charge?
I know it takes 4 hours to charge, how long is "playtime" if you will?
If you charge it then don't use it for a few days or a week will it still have a charge?
You will get plenty of “play time”, but we never actually tested how long. From experience we were able to get a few day’s of turning it off and on and swinging it around until the battery needed a re charge.
Yeah FREE shopping in USA..... But not in Europa. The shiping Costs me 45$! Blus the sabor 145$. Its the darksaber, should i buy?

Question! I’m looking at the Elegant Whirlwind Saber to buy and it says it has an RGB LED color cycle blade. Does that specifically mean the colours are red, green, and blue, or does that offer more colours? Because I know some saber brands give a full spectrum of colour including purple, orange, and white, so I just wanted to figure out what they define as RGB.
All rebel sabers include “any” color on the spectrum. You choose the color!

The charge port is the slot right above the switch to turn it on (the hole with the pin in it) If you didn’t receive a usb cable, definitely reach out to RS

Is the Dark Legend worth it? It will be my first, and how long can the battery last?
Our RS sabers have a pretty decent battery life. Plus, they charge up pretty quick as well.

The only time there should be theme music is upon the initial start up of the saber.
Question: how bright is the blade compared to ultrasabers? I’ve bought a few ultrasabers of my own and I’m considering getting one of these
We have some ultra sabers, and at night the RS have a little bit more brightness to them. Add the fact you get sound, flash on clash and lock up, you can’t go wrong with the RS.

Gray review! I just have one question, has anyone elses lightsaber not turn back on after being charged? I charged mine after it died, even after it says “fully charged” and lights up, but it hasnt been able to turn back on

I’m trying to get the Skywalker saber (idc if it’s the model from ROTS, ANH, or force awakens) but it’s expensive anywhere. The black series and galaxy edge version is being scalped for around $350 and rebel sabers has the “heirloom” one for $300.

Got a question though, about how long did it take for the sabers to get to you from when they were ordered? Debating between getting the Classic Hero from Rebel sabers or an Aeon v5 from Ultrasabers and all that's really keeping me from deciding is ship time (mainly just getting a saber to mess around with while I wait for my Vader's Vault 😅) appreciate any answers!
We received our rebel sabers in just under a month. However, the 2 sabers we picked up were on back order at the time.
We ordered a rebel sabers fallen and it took 7 weeks.
If you want something to screw around with while waiting for a VV, rebel may be the way to go!

All rebel saber purchases include a combat ready blade
savi´s looks really bulky with weak light and sound..for the price you can get a better saber..but Savis is more an experience so you probably still feel that it´s worth it.
You definitely pay for the experience overall with a Savi Saber. They look best on display.

I believe there is a comment a few down from yours with exactly how to operate the saber. Otherwise, just playing around you’ll definitely figure it out!
Is there a way to add a feature to attach it to your belt? That's one of the main features I like when it comes to buying a saber
On the particular RS models we own, they do not have belt clips or covtec wheels, but I would reach out to Will the owner of Rebel Sabers, because he may have models that have them or a way to install them on your order.

I have that Quicksilver model from another distributor and I don't have any instructions for installing the blade. Can you help me out? It falls out. Do I have to install some screws somewhere? I got some set screws.
Your purchase should have come with at least 2 screws to hold the blade in place.

Hey, so I'm looking to get my first saber, are their sabers good to start with? I was looking at getting the duelist but haven't seen many videos on it I would assume since it's in the same category as the quicksilver is would sorta be the same?
Aside from our Disney sabers and our ultrasabers, we got them all around the same time and we stuck with the Rebel Sabers. Can’t beat the price, the service and the features.

We went right into the apprentice series with the black rook/quicksilver sabers

most often if it displays dollars then it will charge dollars, so if its 100 dollars then you will be charged 74 pounds
How do you guys think they compare to ultra sabers? Would you say one is better then the other?
Overall we have had a better experience with Rebel sabers vs ultra.
Our 3 ultra sabers are “bleh” in comparison to features and warranties for what you pay and what you get. Customer service is also better with RS.

Hey I know it’s been a while since this video came out but I heard the Stalwart can connect via the hilt to make a double bladed saber. Have you tried this and does it hold up well for dueling? Thanks!

We have no complaints about the quality / durability - but they are drop shipped from China. Also, the owner of RS has a lifetime warranty on the parts.
This is great! Thanks for the review. I own the Dominicide dual blade Emerald with Sound from Ultra Sabers. That was about $500. I love it, but it’s pricey IMO.
My wife and I purchased 3 hilts with blades from Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. Those a beautiful, but with the blade, they are about $200 each and can’t change colors and sounds. The dual package you got seems great for the price. I think I will end up getting them. Not bad for some heavy dueling. It seems like the pros outweigh the cons. Thanks again!

Really depends on your budget. Rebel sabers is probably the one company that gives you the most features for your money.

Quick question y'all. Did you sabers come through DHL or another service? Mine was supposed to be delivered yesterday and was pushed bacl to the 26th. It was rescheduled for today after I emailed them but still hasn't arrived so I was just wondering if you guys have any similar problems.
We got them in exactly a month, and it was through DHL.
