Hey! What are your thoughts on the nx500 compared to Sony A6300? Also how gradable are the footage using the high bitrate hack? Love your channel btw. Been a fan since the very beginning lol!
For me it boils down to crop in 4k vs overheating......pretty bad either way if you like to record longer in case of the sony or if you like 4k with a wide angle lens with the nx..... usability way better with the nx. Menus better, touch screen interface. I went the sony route with the A6500, and now the a6400.... It is not as great as I though. Very little improvement actually....I recently test shot a fuji xt30 and those 200mbits are great! NX 200mbit hack....not so much unfortunatelly.... Thanks for the nice compliments:) Wow, the very beginning! That is rare. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
most vlog are done inside at a desk where you control light so instead of "fstop lowest as possible and iso auto" why not fully manual, fstop at lens peak sharpness (usually 3 stops down from fastest aperture) to also get better contrast and lower CA + lowest iso + shutter speed following the 180 rule to get correct motion blur. and then add artificial light until correct exposure is attained ?
I don't know what vlogs you watch, but the people I follow and talk to on the channel want the most bokeh, they want to shoot on the go and they don't want to think about the tech. Of course if you*re inside and are able to basically studio shoot the cam then you go manual.
Hi great review thanks i need help little bit about this nx series i m using nx300 and when i using for video any mode the camera take all settings auto so i cant choose any iso and diafram in any mode how can i use manuel settings for video with nx300 ? Auto setting so crapy and dark
I donÄt know what youtube does with the file while it is run through their processing gauntlet, but premiere can edit h265. Although resolve and fcpx do better with that codes on a slower machine.
What settings do oyu have now? Could it be that the audio levels are too low...I don't think there is a video codec on that camera that records without audio....also could it be the video player on the macbook maybe?
I believe it's because of the h265 sometimes my videos will play but without sound if the system isn't compatible completely with h265 (like how smartphones are only now starting to be able to play h265 vids) RUclips now accepts it though I believe 🤗
Hi there! I borrowed this camera and use it for the first time for reaction video (it's just me sitting still and talking) and i notice even without a big movement my camera always focusing by itself (even when i'm not moving!) will this settings help? I use auto mode to record the video. Thanks!
Are you using program auto or P Mode? I would use A mode (aperute priority) - zoom in to 50mm and set the smallest value for the aperture possible. A blurred out background usually helps the af system. Is there maybe something in the baclground that the camera could mistake for a face?
@@Mark10ProVideo hi! Thank you so much for reaching out. And yes that "face" background was also my first thought since i used posters as backdrop. I changed that now and the blurs still happened in using auto mode. Then i changed to the A settings in this video and it helps! It's just kinda hard to set the focus everytime the shutters on and i just need to train myself to sit still in the focus area since i tend to move around too much out of excitement😂
My friend you're a savior...best comprehensive NX 500 tutorial on RUclips ..thanks.
No problemo:) Thanks for the nice comment!
I just bought this camera thank you so much for all the information it's gonna be so much more helpful now and more fun to use
Awesome! Very simple without useless information like other videos out there. Thank you 🌱
No problemo, Parsa Payman!
Cheers so much a very informative tutorial 😊
However I believe it's best to shoot in 4k 24 and 1080p60 when needing slow motion ❤
This was the best ever video I’ve ever seen on settings thank you very much
Im thinking of buying one for vlogging
thank you for this information it helps me a lot.. i have nx300 camera but this video help me out

Sorry, man, it's been so long since I used that camera. Never used a 300 either....sorry I can't be of helop to you.
I have a constantly jumping autofocus on videos shot with my NX500. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Great video, so can the h265 format be edited in Adobe Premiere pro and uploaded to RUclips as well in h265?

HELP: What video setting should I put on my NX500?

my NX 500 problem is when i put my videos file in final cut pro then No sound i can only use sound on VLC player why?
Do you have the h.265 codec installed?
@@Mark10ProVideo i dont know how to install
@@Mark10ProVideo do i need to update camera firmware ?
How is the stabilization of nx 500
Nothing to brag about, comparable to my A5100. Workable for stills, but for video, as soon as you move AND want smooth footage, you need a gimbal.
