Hi Devyani, can you tell me one thing?
If we do proper referencing in our assignment, will the "Turn it in" software still mark it as plagiarism??
I mean, if my assignment have proper referencing but as it is taken from somewhere so it is marked as plagiarism but the professor after checking it, he/she says it is fine as I have proper referencing.
Does it work like that or we have to write in such a way that the software doesn't mark it as plagiarism and we also do proper referencing as it is taken from somewhere else??
Hey Utsav,
Ideally the software should not pick up.
Referencing is one thing which is a must, but you cannot copy paste sentences and then just reference it.
Everything has to be paraphrased.
I have a video on plagiarism and referencing do check it out :))
@@devyanikoparde thanks a lot for the information.
