Yes 90mph. Another storm spotter reported the wind gust from his local home outdoor weather station & was forced to hunker down in the basement. Storm came up on him very fast.
I was at my friends huse and got a wind warning instead but it stormed real bad so i think i also git a svr thunderstorm (edit i actually got this same exact warning nvm)
Ofc this is considered a PDS SVR
Wow nice catch bro keep up the good work
Tysm!
@@stormchicagoeasguyyil2543 would they air a EAS activation on TV?
Unfortunately they don’t :(
Nice catches.
Thanks
Hope you were safe. That same system headed right for me but luckly I didn’t get anything this bad.
I got a full blown tornado warning from this instead.
Same here, one touched down I johnson county
Because 90 mph winds are tornado inducing winds
I was like 1 mile away from the tornado in Belvidere
@@shadowknightpg3d694 same here in franklin
Storm trackers had eyes on it that night.
I got that too, it was freaking crazy, also got that SVR on my phone
I got that on camera and I got the alert too I got everything and I think it didn't go on tv
Ngl When I was recording my phone, WEA goes off then cuts the video and I had to record it on my iPad
Same I just got that
I basically got the same weather alert on my phone 😮
and that i think to myself since its destructive 90 mph winds since its that it could be a PDS SVR warning for chicago i think
You are right if winds reach up to 80 mph winds or more then it is A PDS Warning
We just had one touch down in franklin
I need get one of those radios in Australia
