Yup - way too cold for me. I'm in the US/Florida, I couldn't handle your low of temps. The kitchen is very nice. I love butcher block counters and subway tile. I plan on both for my kitchen upgrade next spring.
When doing the silicon, use masking tape to set the limits of where you want the silicon to be, then dip your finger in turps/lacknafta and run it over the bead of silicon to make a professional looking job.
Hey. Thanks for the comment. I didn't use masking tape for 2 reasons. 1 it doesn't work on these beveled edge tiles. 2 it leaves a ridge which is prone to catch a lot of dirt. Especially in the kitchen. I did finish the bead with some soapy water and my finger. Just didn't put it in the film.

I would raise the stove up to the countertop, just prop it up with some sort of platform. Just looks a bit off right now imo and would help the overall aesthetics
Thanks. We thought about this, but it would take some extra work to make something to put it up. For now we don't mind, but maybe we'll raise it up in the future.
Hi. No, it is not. For 2 reasons. 1 it didn't quite work with the space we had. And 2, it could get quite expensive for a kitchen we only would use temporarily.
I personally love the old wood features, I don't really understand why you took those all out and stripped it of so much character (maybe I'm missing something?)
A lot of the "wood" features in the kitchen were fake and made out of some sort of vinyl. All the cabinets were broken and ceiling had to go, because it was only about 2 meters high and we were going to live there and not use it as a summerhouse. So we needed some more space.
If I hear the word Netherlands I switch the video off. I hated my time there. It was an awful experience and I will forever have a negative reaction to that place. I love your channel but I won’t watch if that name gets mentioned.

Een Japanse zaag is een super gereedschap om precies/fijn handzaagwerk mee te doen. Echt handig en niet duur.
