Great progress with the bathroom. The doors you made for it are very cute. So sorry about the overabundance of water from the spring thaw. Mud season for real!
Really enjoying your series of renovation videos, and I'm very much looking forward to following the work on the main house whenever that gets started. I especially appreciate how much you're able to do with just simple hand tools and reused materials. I'll be interested to see how you two like living in the tiny house after so long in the van. Also wondering if you might give a van tour sometime? It would be fun to see what it looks like (but only if you feel like sharing).
There is a Swedish word for this kind of Spring water soaked ground that is really bad to travel on. We call it "menföre"(Bad Travelling Conditions) or sometimes "vårförfall" (Spring Decay)
Living off a dirt road is very challenging ☹️. I was looking to buy a cabin in the woods and that was the #1 deal breaker for me , no dirt road . I only looked at cabins with paved roads , tricky to find in some places .
Our road was old and had very little maintenance over the last years. Now we did all this and more it should be good as long as we keep the maintenance up.
Good start on the bathroom, almost there!
Hi, thanks for the videos, I'm really enjoying them. You're doing great. Can't wait to see the start of the house renovation.
Thanks for your message! We're almost ready to present our plans for the big house and start with the build.

Thanks! It all worked out in the end. Let's hope the road is now better than it was. I guess we'll see next spring.
It feels meditative to watch your videos.
Thx for the video!! Love video about renovation
Thanks!
I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your story.

Aha. Thanks! We did not know that. And so we learn something everyday 😉

I recommend you to check if it is ok to put waterlines in the wall in the bathroom. Check with the insurancecompany.
Thanks for the tip.
