Welcome back Nick! SOS is Dimash masterpiece!! It is an existentialist song, about ups and downs in life, depression and death, when you feel you don’t belong here. The song was written by the French pianos and director Michel Berger and performed by Daniel Balavoine for the rock opera musical Starmania. After listening to Gregory Lemarchal, Dimash made his own arrangements for the song which really made the piece a success. The Singer , it was a Chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. Dimash was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. Funny story, we 1st saw him on local TV in a little video, she knew who he was and had a crush and my Dad called him "rock n roll boy" to tease her. Off I went to school and she another one (his) I was living in London and she sent me a "bandit" tape of him doing SOS in China while he was still doing the show with only a note, Who Is this ? I replied, I don't know but he isn't human. She wrote back, Rock N Roll Boy.. Me: no way in he** !! I just talked to his cousin and he said he's in school. Her: Not anymore, he just got famous. And he did ! Turns out, he told his family he'd make it about halfway through the field eliminations during that summer and go to grad school in the Fall and he kept winning..and winning so everybody assumed he was in school and he was in China, my sister and some of my friends knew but they all thought hey how far can he go, he'll be back in no time ! His whole family was at home another reason no one suspected anything. Wow ! talk about shock ! I didn't recognize him his hair was so different ! he always wore it longish, shaggy with bangs, even his family was surprised ! He finally got so down she said, he's used to living with his whole family and around tons of people at school, all he had was a coach and interpretor, couldn't speak the language, didn't know anybody, Kanat decided to go over there and check on him and elected to stay and give him moral support and encouragement. We all know what happened then ! But he went right back to school when he returned and stayed all through school, they scheduled his concerts etc around his studies until recently.

Of course I remember you reacting to slaviansky bazaaria version. This was before in I am singer tv show when he was 22 years old “SOS d'un terrien en détresse” tells of an earthly being that is in distress and asking for help because he never felt well in his own skin, he better wants to be a bird to see the world in case it could be more beautiful when seen from above. Luc Plamondon wrote the lyrics of SOS about a very distraught young man who just lost his lover causing him extreme questioning of his own existence. Finally being by her lifeless body, he is able to let her go “in peace“ with the words ‘sleep, my child, sleep’. It is a part of an french Rock-Pop opera released in 1979: Starmania. One of the 5 most difficult songs in French language. It was recorded by Daniel Balavoine in 1979 or so and Grégory Lemarchal won of the French reality singing competition Star Academy 2004 with this song.

💥👍💖I remember that reaction; I just watched some of it again. It was about a year ago, early in my addiction to Dimash (and Lara (and Diana (and Ren (and ...)))))). I recall encountering you as a reactor around then, wondering why you looked familiar, and thinking it must just be that you're from the UK (me too). Anyhoo I just took a gander at your Dimash (and Ren) videos and I see a ton of Dimash's best that aren't in the list, and several that are not what I think of as his best. Perhaps some of the good ones were blocked? Anyhow, there's a least one that never gets blocked as far as I know, and is absolutely outstanding, namely the Olympico from Igor Krutoy's official channel. Turn on English captions (autotranslate iirc)... and be stunned, yet again. And then remember that out of his 1,000 or so videos there are 50 that are every bit as good as Stranger, Ave Maria, SOS, Love is like a dream, etc etc, spread out across genres from funky jazz (the recent Durdarai) to pop (eg the Be With Me official video; the song is one of more than a dozen excellent songs he's composed) to popera (composed by Igor) to rock (Golden) and on and on. (BTW, I suggest you react to *El Estepario Siberiano* for 4 reasons. First, he's truly amazing. Second, he's trending, having hit 1M subs about 7 months ago, 2M about 4 months ago, and 3M about a month ago. Third, you should watch at least a minute or so of each the videos he did celebrating each milestone. (Watch, not react.) Reason being I think they'll help you get to 1M much faster. You're clearly good at what you do, but it won't hurt if you grow twice as fast.) Long story long: I checked out Stranger last night. I hadn't Liked it. Was that because I didn't see it before? I know me, and I know there's a small chance I *did* recognize you, and was sufficiently miffed by your comment "This is the first time I've reacted to Dimash" that I decided to not Like the video, and maybe even not watch it. (I've now done both. Having done so I don't recall the reaction.) 90% of the time I think something, it turns out to ultimately be based on nonsense, and 90% of the remaining cases, letting anything "miff" me, especially seriously, is _worse_ than nonsense. So I very seldom go the extreme of setting my subscription level to None (which tells me I know a reactor, and I'm letting my future self know my past self felt I should stay the fuck away). So, if I was miffed, it didn't last long, perhaps for the simple reason you feel 100% genuine. Which got me thinking; why did you say what you said? So I just revisited it _again_, perhaps for the third time overall, and I realized you edited the sound to cut it right after you said "Dimash". So my guess is you thought that was a reasonable edit, and, regardless of what you thought, *I* suspect I would have made the same edit if I were you, or wearing an editor's hat, given that it's clearly true that you hadn't reacted to _Stranger_ before, and it would be a waste of viewers' time going on about your previous reaction to SOS. This version of I'm singer 2017 and the version of Slavic Bazaar 2018 are 2 good versions but are not my favorite versions of this song sung by Dimash..I prefer many other versions,Dimash has almost 70 different live versions of this song,and my favorite version is Online digital concert january 2021..The Boss King Angel Dimash Forever

And he did ! Turns out, he told his family he'd make it about halfway through the field eliminations during that summer and go to grad school in the Fall and he kept winning..and winning so everybody assumed he was in school and he was in China, my sister and some of my friends knew but they all thought hey how far can he go, he'll be back in no time ! His whole family was at home another reason no one suspected anything. Wow ! talk about shock ! I didn't recognize him his hair was so different ! he always wore it longish, shaggy with bangs, even his family was surprised ! He finally got so down she said, he's used to living with his whole family and around tons of people at school, all he had was a coach and interpretor, couldn't speak the language, didn't know anybody, Kanat decided to go over there and check on him and elected to stay and give him moral support and encouragement. We all know what happened then ! But he went right back to school when he returned and stayed all through school, they scheduled his concerts etc around his studies until recently.

This is still my favorite performance of SOS by Dimash, he was only 22 and this was the first performance in The Singer competition. I like it bc it is so pure, and i was hooked as soon as i heard his voice. Please continue to look for his early performances, i e. In China and at his Bastau concert, in 2017, still only 23.

Luc Plamondon wrote the lyrics of SOS about a very distraught young man who just lost his lover causing him extreme questioning of his own existence. Finally being by her lifeless body, he is able to let her go “in peace“ with the words ‘sleep, my child, sleep’. It is a part of an french Rock-Pop opera released in 1979: Starmania. One of the 5 most difficult songs in French language. It was recorded by Daniel Balavoine in 1979 or so and Grégory Lemarchal won of the French reality singing competition Star Academy 2004 with this song.

💥👍💖I remember that reaction; I just watched some of it again. It was about a year ago, early in my addiction to Dimash (and Lara (and Diana (and Ren (and ...)))))). I recall encountering you as a reactor around then, wondering why you looked familiar, and thinking it must just be that you're from the UK (me too).
Anyhoo I just took a gander at your Dimash (and Ren) videos and I see a ton of Dimash's best that aren't in the list, and several that are not what I think of as his best. Perhaps some of the good ones were blocked? Anyhow, there's a least one that never gets blocked as far as I know, and is absolutely outstanding, namely the Olympico from Igor Krutoy's official channel. Turn on English captions (autotranslate iirc)... and be stunned, yet again.
And then remember that out of his 1,000 or so videos there are 50 that are every bit as good as Stranger, Ave Maria, SOS, Love is like a dream, etc etc, spread out across genres from funky jazz (the recent Durdarai) to pop (eg the Be With Me official video; the song is one of more than a dozen excellent songs he's composed) to popera (composed by Igor) to rock (Golden) and on and on.

(BTW, I suggest you react to *El Estepario Siberiano* for 4 reasons. First, he's truly amazing. Second, he's trending, having hit 1M subs about 7 months ago, 2M about 4 months ago, and 3M about a month ago. Third, you should watch at least a minute or so of each the videos he did celebrating each milestone. (Watch, not react.) Reason being I think they'll help you get to 1M much faster. You're clearly good at what you do, but it won't hurt if you grow twice as fast.)
Long story long:
I checked out Stranger last night. I hadn't Liked it. Was that because I didn't see it before? I know me, and I know there's a small chance I *did* recognize you, and was sufficiently miffed by your comment "This is the first time I've reacted to Dimash" that I decided to not Like the video, and maybe even not watch it. (I've now done both. Having done so I don't recall the reaction.)
90% of the time I think something, it turns out to ultimately be based on nonsense, and 90% of the remaining cases, letting anything "miff" me, especially seriously, is _worse_ than nonsense. So I very seldom go the extreme of setting my subscription level to None (which tells me I know a reactor, and I'm letting my future self know my past self felt I should stay the fuck away).
So, if I was miffed, it didn't last long, perhaps for the simple reason you feel 100% genuine. Which got me thinking; why did you say what you said? So I just revisited it _again_, perhaps for the third time overall, and I realized you edited the sound to cut it right after you said "Dimash".
So my guess is you thought that was a reasonable edit, and, regardless of what you thought, *I* suspect I would have made the same edit if I were you, or wearing an editor's hat, given that it's clearly true that you hadn't reacted to _Stranger_ before, and it would be a waste of viewers' time going on about your previous reaction to SOS.
