Dimash has done Diva Dance(Fifth Element) several times, I recommend the one at Bastau.
You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion “ 2018 and then "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017. Each performance will leave you stunned.

There are at least 3 videos where he does portions of the "Diva Dance." One is entitled "Diva Dance" and it's only 1:40+ seconds long. Then there's "Confessa+Diva Dance." One of the best is in "Drunken Concubine/Diva Dance" because he goes off the keyboard in that one.
You should watch his latest video, Stranger. Real deep voice. He sings the song from the 5th element live especially on Confessia + Diva Dance. He doesn't need any help like she did in the movie. She could not reach the high notes and they used synthesizer to aide her singing. I've listened to him since he was 20 yrs old, he has sang so much including rap, the only thing I haven't heard him sing is a country song.

Dimash is a vocal master.
Dimash was born in Kazakhstan in 1994. He began studying music at the age of 5, the age at which he was diagnosed with "perfect pitch". Her parents are famous singers in Kazakhstan. He studied piano and singing. He later graduated in classical and contemporary music. He has a master's degree in composition and is currently pursuing a doctorate in musicology. He speaks Kazakh, Russian and English. He sings in 14 languages. He has received countless awards and honors at home and abroad. After competing in "I am a singer" in China 2017, he became famous all over the world. In addition to being a singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist (6), he has ventured as an advertising model, actor, dancer and audiovisual director. He is only 27 years old and is 6.3 feet tall. He lives in his country, Kazakhstan. He has a You Tube page (Dimash Qudaibergen) where he has posted many of his songs. These days he began a tour starting with Dubai where he had a total success with the attendance of fans from 67 countries of the world and that he will repeat in other countries. I cannot fail to mention that he is an exceptional human being. He is known on social media as "the best singer in the world".

This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and in 2017 made Dimash a mega-star overnight.
That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home.
Despite Dimash's planned brief presence, his name was intended to be symbolic and understandable to the public. Dimash was given the Chinese name Dimashi and the 3 syllables were assigned in Chinese characters: ⭐Di - achievement ⭐Ma - precious stone ⭐Shi - dream, wish.
This competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door.
The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to RUclips ... and so we became Dimash's Dears.
The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won).

✴ In January 2021 Dimash was one of the few foreigners who has been asked to attend the live online show marking the inauguration of the President of U.S.A. Joe Biden. He is here as a representative of his country Kazakhstan and he is also here for his Dears from all over the world. This is the first time in the 67-year history of the Sister Cities and the first time since relations between the United States and the concentration camp began (almost 30 years ago) that an artist from Kazakhstan has attended such an event.

He really is considered the greatest in the world that has ever tried to sing Diva Dance. It’s so perfect, much, much better than the original which was partly done by a computer, because it was thought impossible for a human to be able to sing it.

Thanks for your reaction...hilarious! So, a few things. I don't understand how you could have heard him 2 times before and not reacted to him a million times by now! Dimash is that good because of genetics (his mom and dad are singers) and because he's been studying and practicing music since he was 5 years old. He plays 6 instruments, has sung in 14 languages, is fluent in Kazakh and Russian and is now learning English and Mandarin, has a Master's in Music Theory and was recommended to get his Doctorate degree, has a belt in Taekwondo, and is a big humanitarian. Humble and decent as hell. This is NOT the lowest that he can go, and it's certainly not the highest, either. His range goes off the piano. He is considered to have an 8 octave range. He loves his country, his family and his "Dears" (the name he coined for his fans!). Yes, he DID do Diva Dance. The only other singer who attempted it was the opera singer Jane Zhang, and, although she did an amazing job and sang the longer version, she was still very weak compared to Dimash and missed a few notes and could not go as low as Dimash. PLEASE watch Olympico. It will slay you with his ranges and his voice strength. He is such an incredible music God that Igor Krutoy, a world famous Russian composer and pianist, saw him and decided to come out of retirement JUST to write music for him. How awesome is THAT? “SOS d'un terrien en détresse” tells of an earthly being that is in distress and asking for help because he never felt well in his own skin, he better wants to be a bird to see the world in case it could be more beautiful when seen from above. It is a part of an french Rock-Pop opera released in 1979: Starmania. One of the 5 most difficult songs in French language. It was recorded by Daniel Balavoine in 1979 or so and Grégory Lemarchal won of the French reality singing competition Star Academy 2014 with this song.

I just subscribed to your channel- we all love Dimash. I personally have to listen him every day.
I watched an interview where he said someone had put sleeping pills (or something) in his water before this performance. He could hardly keep his eyes open and felt really ill. He came on anyway and did that performance. And won. He didn't tell anyone at the time because he didn't want to start an international incident. Just goes to show what an amazing man he is.

You've been dimashified! The only way to explain Dimash's singing is that he is beyond talented. His is unworldly a once in a lifetime singer. The best way I can describe the way he makes me feel is that he reaches inside you with his voice & raw emotions to actually sing & he touches your soul. I remember discovering Dimash & going down that rabbit hole he brought me to tears many, many times like no artist has ever done. Enjoy your journey with Dimash & if I could suggest one thing, please read his lyrics after listening to his songs. The lyrics of his songs are just as moving as the singing. You can't really read the captions while listening to the songs his voice will just take over & you'll miss the lyrics of the song, which are just as amazing. 📌 Welcome! Who is Dimash Qudaibergen? (Pronounced: Dee-mah-sh Kuh-di-bear-gen)
Dimash was born on May 24, 1994 in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He is 1.91m; 6.3 feet tall. According to Kazakh tradition, he was raised by his grandparents and for a long time he kept his parents as his aunt and uncle. Dimash’s parents Kanat and Svetlana Aitbaevs - Well known Singer and Honored Artists of Kazakhstan: ruclips.net/video/_T72eSZ7WU8/видео.html His father is also his manager. They all live together in one house.
Dimash said: “Open my heart, you will find music. If you open my brain you will find music. Music is my life."
He has been training in music since he was 5 years old, has a perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. Dimash also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition. He graduated with honors’. He has composed 12 of his own songs so far and is currently working on his doctorate. We have to call him soon Doctor Dimash Qudaibergen. 😃
Dimash did not fit the traditional image of a singer in Kazakhstan and was criticized. Even his voice teacher forbade him to sing in falsetto (There is a video where the teacher talks about it)... but he was not deterred, won many national and international competitions.
In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of the National Opera in Astana because he wanted to go his own way ... He created his own genre: neoclassical combined with classical, folklore and other styles such as pop, rock, R&B and jazz. We laypeople say 'Popera'. 😃
Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. He founded his own company named Dimash Ali.
In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone in China. He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today Dimash is a 'cultural ambassador' for his country and a 'national treasure' (not an official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks Kazakh (mother tongue) and Russian (without accent, second language in Kazakhstan), is learning English and Mandarin. He says dancing and Mandarin are difficult for him. So far, he sings in 13 languages. He trains his voice for 3 hours every day, ..but Dimash said: "You don't need to know how hard I've worked, you just need to enjoy the results".
Experts consider Dimash to be a lyrical baritone with a typically long range. Dimash says of himself that he is a tenor. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, contralto, soprano.

Dimash's 'heavenly' vocal abilities, from bass to coloratura soprano, are not just limited to the tremendous range of over seven octaves and mixing of all musical genres, but it is the incredible command of his instrument, his voice and the emotional touch of people ... that brings us back again and again fascinates and surprises and again ... Dimash always wanted to be on stage. As a young boy (3ys), he would often sit in the audience at his parents' performances and run on stage when they bowed at the end, and he would do the same.
In his childhood Dimash trained Taekwondo. Dimash's role models are Lara Fabian, Pavarotti, Igor Krutoy, Andrea Bocelli, Celin Dion, Queen and very important Michael Jackson.
Dimash doesn't drink alcohol and of course he doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink ice drinks and he doesn't like socks. Hed love fire and water on stage, as a set of course. 🤣
A Dear gave him knee pads, but he says he's so deep into his songs that he doesn't feel any pain. 😃 Dimash looks good, is one of the 100 most beautiful men in the world and a model coveted around the world.
Dimash is humble, kind, generous, respectful, reserved and very, very hardworking. He donates a lot of time and money to charity, supports people in need and always does so quietly. We only find out because some people feel the need to talk about it.

He did that 5th element part AND NAILED IT BETTER THEN THE ACTUAL movie because the movies used synthesizers…it was a REAL voice….DIMASH DID IT LIVE….the best vocalist I’ve heard.

Dimash calls his genre of music Neoclassical.
He developed his upper range when he sang soprano as a boy. His voice teacher guided him through his voice change so he didn't lose the upper range but just extended his lower ranges.
