Man I'm smart as hell I wish people would stop saying that crap being smart doesn't mean anything today, you have to also be able to follow the rules or be willing to break the rules, but when you're smart enough you know it doesn't matter if you follow the rules but you're too smart to be evil, you get stuck in a no mans land that leaves you marginal at best. Just the act of questioning anything will get you fired easily, if you're not questioning everything then life goes more smoothly, but an intelligent thinking person can't just magically flip a switch that makes you not question and think, because you'd think before you turn it off, it's impossible.
I find it amazing he’s still allowed to work in the printing field. I’d think that might be a stipulation of being released or probation. This was a fascinating interview.

Sometimes, it really does come down to luck. Things can go fine for ages, but that's when you gotta stop, BEFORE your luck changes, cos when it does, and it always does, it gets worse and worse and it stays with you for a long time. Gm swu family all over the world. Thank you mark for all the great interview.
Thx very much but it’s 8:30pm here in Australia 👍
Dude is razor sharp. Great interview!
@@standingvertical3048 You DO know everyone has a right to his/her opinion??? Be gone.
the fact that Jeff was doing and getting away with the whole “catch me if you can” thing on BIBLE paper is 😊 to me 👍.
In god we trust
Great interview, thank you for sharing Jeff. Stay strong bro, keep away from relapsing as I know you can!
Would be great if you wanted to come back for an update video in the future. Hope you'll stick to the straight and narrow 'til then- and remember, mistakes are human and ok- the important thing is to strive for continuouous betterment over time. Since this is more of a marathon than a race to the finish line, etc. ^^
Take care, much respect and love from Sweden!
I feel like, if I was in his presence, my I.Q. points would go up. Incredible man, Incredible interview. THANK YOU❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks!
I used to live in Knoxville... From Nashville. Thanks Mark. Really wish I could be on your show one day.
Artist's always know where the flaws are.
I loved this interview! I did very similar with prescription pads back in the day. It was the introduction of the control substance database that ended my run in 2011. And I would definitely buy his book. His story reminds me of one my favorite movies "Catch me if you can " :)
Yup, I learned how to forage Rx's, among other things. So glad that life is behind me.
My mom use to forge scripts as well & steal real doctors pads from doctors visits as well back n the day but she changed her life around cause she got caught. I wonder if it was easy then cause of doctors writing on pads & people learned how to write like the doctor.
@Haleema 3814 It was easy, you nailed it, I did that to back in the day
@@AliciaM5555 Me too
@@jrtaylor2288 wow! My mom end up going to jail but not for a long stay on a few days cause my mom was also sick and couldn’t walk the day they found her because she had been hiding. I would call my parents functional because nobody would or could ever tell because my dad had a good job kept my mom and me and brother together ect. I just remember all this because I was a kid and never forget the day they came to get her to go to jail🥺it wasn’t my father doing any of the forging stuff he was actually disappointed but when ur back been together for years I guess he stuck beside but just didn’t participate in her wrong doings. I could tell u so many stories she’s told me lol, of how her and her buddies would get away with it. It was that easy huh!
He could still use his skills as an artist. What a great media to play with
Mark, I’ve watched many many many of your interviews. I have in the past thought your questions you asked your guests were not so well thought out and somewhat too scripted. The questions you asked the counterfeiter were spot on. Great work keep going please and thankyou
That’s a bright man right there, things could have been so different for him.
Things could still be different for him.
If he had figured out his niche in the system legally like Mark, he'd likely be a millionaire right now. It's still possible man.
Someone who says "samwich" isn't bright enough to not get caught eventually.
He served like 9 months 😂😂 bro got away with it tbh. .
Damn working in retail I don’t know if I would have noticed the bills he made or not. What an artist sticking it to the man.
fascinating interview, one of the best yet
Definitely a smart guy. Glad you worked out a deal and have a good job now
Lots of details… I’ll have to rewatch this this evening.
Great interview and story.
If hes able to counterfeit at such a high , successful scale, imagine what positive things he is actually capable of
This guy is a genius and his story is so fascinating. I hope he finds a passion project that earns him big money legitimately ♥️♥️♥️
Books and movies are coming. Follow Jeff.
That was your best interview yet. Fascinating guy and I appreciate the information, I was always curious,(not in a bad way) of how it was done.
A modern day Catch Me If You Can. Wow! Mark, you have to help this man get a movie deal!
I’ve actually already optioned the rights to my story to a production company and there is a film in development now!
As a long time scofflaw who never did time... this dude is great. And smart too! I hope he keeps up the positive path!
I find it amazing he’s still allowed to work in the printing field. I’d think that might be a stipulation of being released or probation. This was a fascinating interview.
I know right! Was thinking the same. But seems like if he does it again I’m thinkin they will know it’s him.
I wonder if his lawyer was stressed out when he handed over the cash for the retainer?
@@Bdamazyn 😂😂
Jeff I’m surprised we didn’t meet or cross paths. I lived in Pinellas County for 28yrs and lived in New Port Richie for several years. I was all over St. Pete, Clearwater etc….Even went to St. Petersburg Junior College. Now it’s St. Petersburg College. Got my Associates Degree there. It’s good to here your testimony my friend 🙂 I was no Angel myself back then. Pills was my thing, opiates👍😄 I wish you the best my brother in Christ ❤️🙏😊
Nice! I went to St. Petersburg College as well…
Me too. Lived in Pinellas from '81-'96. Seminole High. SPJC. USF.
Con men (and women) are the best kind of SWU interviews, to me. This was fascinating -- he was so articulate and offered such elaborate details, down to using Bibles for the proper kind of paper! It sounds as if he was able to parlay getting caught into getting clean and becoming a better (and more famous) person, but I was left wondering if he thinks it all was worth it.
I want to see the secret service training video
Just goes to show you, if you are planning on committing a crime, tell no one and be secret with only yourself and take it to your grave
Very true. Even with murder. People usually get caught because they either open their mouth or, after a highly successful run, don’t know when to stop.
Fantastic interview!
Good afternoon its 12.43 here in Aberdeen Scotland another foggy grey day here only 8'c . Loving this interview this guy is so clever . Just got to the end what a story! Working with the secret service wow , i cant wait till the book comes out on love from Scotland ❤️
Hallo from Glasgow.
I genuinely was waiting for him to say that he got charged with something and that he used the counterfeit notes as bail money.
@@De5O54 Hello from Dublin. Your answer is pure Irvine Welsh! Even though your a "Weegie". :-)
That’s wild ! Great interview
Wildly interesting. Great interview.
Great interview, Jeff is an extremely interesting person! Glad he got sober and is doing well!
Thank you!
This was a very good interview, so interesting. Love the happy ending ❤
This man is brilliant, he is leagues above other counterfeiters.
🐐
not really
This was easily in my top two favourite episodes
This guy is so smart. I hope he finds a way to turn those skills into a great career somehow
This dude is a straight genius!
Thanks!
Mark, not sure that you take requests, but if you do, could you consider finding someone who is a debt dodger? Someone with student, medical, or credit card debt and fled the US? I adore your work. This interview was wonderful.
Ajeeeeje, tohle jedna z dávných věšteb kluků z Bodeguity, úplně jsem zapomel, tě tohle o mě taky vyprávěli :D
Jsou to legendy :D
i worked in retail off commission for years and this is the type customer to unexpectedly drop a bag 😂💰
Very interesting interview & so glad he got clean.
This man is going to print again as soon as he figures out another technique.
Jeff your way too talented for living a criminal life. Be a good man for your precious family. Nice to meet you . Thanks Mark for introducing us to Jeff 😊
Best fucking interview 😮 great guy crazy story hope he finds peace and comfort for himself can't wait on the book
I don't see a counterfeiter... this man was making real 100 dollar bills 😆
amazing how creative people are
One of your most interesting interviews.
Great interview what a real dude
Thanks
Longer interview on konkrete podcast. Listened last year. Really good.
Shout out to Danny and Koncrete!
Wow quite a story, with his amount of knowledge, artistic ability, creativeness, his family life, the drug dealers and add secret service to the mix there is enough there for a Netflix documentary
I enjoy these non drug addict interviews. Fascinating what happens in people’s lives
Me too. Love this channel
Non addict, non sexual abuse, more career type ones easier to hear.
He said he was a drug addict.
Best interview yet!!
Thanks!
7:45. Dude may have some problems going shopping after this video, lol.
Great interview. Smart guy. Self aware also
Dude is a genius.
Great interview! One of the better ones in my opinion.
Lmfao I love this. "We'd wake up in the morning and print." If only life were that simple.
Very interesting interview!
I’ve watched every single interview since your beginning and it’s more than clear that no one gets in the prison by clear thinking seems to be drugs is the common denominator that gets people in troubles
@@katiekane5247 I hear you ma’am but I did say-common denominator
And if the cops did have it in for someone it’s probably more than one encounter With that person like they say where there’s smoke there’s fire I find it highly unlikely that someone just gets picked off the street and put into prison and I’m not saying it doesn’t happen but most of that is movie bullshit
when you're addicted, the only way out is to die, quit, or go to jail.
Sometimes, it really does come down to luck. Things can go fine for ages, but that's when you gotta stop, BEFORE your luck changes, cos when it does, and it always does, it gets worse and worse and it stays with you for a long time. Only way to stop your run of Bad Luck is to try to change and do as much good as you possibly can, try to make up for stuff, but even that could take a lifetime it seems. I think once your run of Good Luck is up, it's gone forever really.
@@katiekane5247 . I agree, and sometimes all it takes is for you to outsmart them, or not give them what they want, keep schtum whatever, then they'll remember you and whenever their chance comes they'll make life so difficult for ya. They can really Fuck you up if they want.
@@ST2theEphen . I went to "the middle of nowhere" , that's how I got out. It wasn't easy. Am still trying to get back on top.
This dude is a G. Thanks Mark you rock.
Clever & the mind of a genius. Success equates to “the recipe” … so smart. Simple AF yet freaking brilliant.
Thank you, Mark. You’re brilliant. Made aware of you a couple years back through the Whittaker’s! I’ve watched much more since, but like to keep up to date with Whittakers especially. Respect.
I’m the same way. Love to watch but love even more to keep up on the whittakers.
Fascinating. And very interesting perspective
my friend is a Secret Service agent in Nashville, according to her, most counterfeiters are middle class teenagers with access to high-grade printers.
That is what my arresting officer told me as well… I think that’s why they “liked” me so much… they said it was rare to come across a professional counterfeiter and they spend most of their days tracking down teenagers and prop movie money…
I googled his name and he also has an interview with vlad. I'm going to watch all his interviews.
VERY INTERESTING STORY. 🐦🐦🐦
