hes selling items worth hundreds and thousands of dollars. It's expected that people who've ordered these expensive sets would get the proper packaging which would only cost ryan a couple dollars. It doesn't matter how many sets he had to ship when you're selling items that expensive they all deserve the proper packaging.

Yeah, if you purchased the set, they recognise there's a customer service let down for which they will offer $60 credit. But if you purchased it second hand or just the Rex seperately, no that's disconnected from Lego.

For building a set - stop motion
You could just leave a video recording running and just move out of the frame every time you place a piece and then just take each of those frames rather than taking a picture every single time

I love the rant about ranting in this Ask MandR. I personally enjoy Ryan and other AFOLs free-flowing thoughts and criticisms when LEGO makes quality errors, such as with Captain Rex. I mean Ryan said it in his review of the Y-Wing Microfighter that 'the Rex is the best one LEGO makes, but not the best LEGO could make' and I'm glad there is someone in the AFOL space having their opinions out there for other fans and hopefully LEGO to see. Keep up the honest work, Ryan!

Just for the record reached out to Lego CS about the $60 rebate. They had no idea what I was talking about. The first thing you put in your video was probably a "inspect element" change or fake email.

Is there anything with this HA Bricks lawsuit that might be applied to other companies that modify official Lego bricks with printing? Or did HA Bricks just not properly disclose everything? The judge said prints on bricks and ball bearings in bricks in not allowed.
Just a thought, we know that Lego has limits on how many figs and prints are allowed per year, per theme. I'm guessing they used the non UCS Luke in the mech because they already both versions in production and the non UCS one is cheaper to produce. However with Rex, they probably reused the UCS to avoid taking up a slot for a different figure.

Okay now I am confused... You said in this video that you don't think Lego put the Rex in the microfighter out of " Ill will to the community" but then in your last video you said Lego " lied" and did it to drive up sales for the Venator. So if Lego "Lied" about it then that means they did do it out of ill will because that is what lying is. They lied to deceive their customers which would totally mean they did it out of ill will.

I reached out to Lego over the weekend concerning the Rex minifig/ gift card reimbursement and they turned me down.
They responded, "I do understand there’s some confusion about whether gift cards were offered to other fans. It's been a difficult decision, but we're no longer able to provide gift cards for this situation."
Pretty disappointing decision on their end to reimburse some customers and not others.
Ask MandR: any particular reason you know of as to why the Lego Store online is the only place that has the new June 1 sets? Walmart, and Kohls don't even look like they have them in their system. Target looks like they've added it to their site now, but everything is out of stock (that parts not a surprise).
The new star destroyer looks so damn weird cuz of the size. It's a shame cuzz otherwise it's better in every way than the old ones
I need some help i recently bought the BARC speeder escape (today) and it did not come with the cape for Kalleran beq and it also didn't come with the 2 clones like come on Lego i thought quality was one of the things you strive for the most and i think Lego should have a better quality control and i hope yall can side with me

Ask MandR: Lego typically releases Star Wars Anniversary sets following significant milestones reached by each movie or show. Does this mean these milestones occur every five years? For instance, since we received a 25th-anniversary set for Phantom Menace this year, can we expect 30th-anniversary sets in 2029?

Maybe there is some contact preventing lego from making 100% accurate figures like how they can't make star wars blind bags. It's the only reason that they would make Rex's ammo pouch a bit big and randomly change thrawns code cylinders
They didn’t randomly change it though. They went the cheap route a used the same code cylinder print on the officer in the ISD set instead of making a different one for Thrawn
With the tie and x wing in the advent calendar being old school what would you think about the x wing tie fighter set coming out being a throwback with the old color schemes but modern building techniques. What is the chance of a legacy line coming out especially with the droid carrier basically being a rerelease
I am more surprised that the battery note only comes now. i have that warning on all my tranformers that have a battery and it is basically even on every random 10 dollar toy with a battery

Update on the venator: they dont give giftcards anymore + they wrote exclusive because it was the only set at that time

AskMandR: could we see a Geonosian battle droid army builder set similar to the Droid Carrier? (Even though that was a GWP) Maybe a Droid Factory set of some kind containing a similar amount of droids. That being 8 droids, and maybe even new figures in a similar set of a battle droid body with C-3PO’s head on top and vise versa.

i think the ucs sets should always have an alternate version of a character. especially if it is a character like rex. never put main chars in just usc sets
