This is my favorite live performance by Queen or anybody else. To be able to pull this off live is insane and Queen executes it with perfection. That instrumental portion just knocks me out every time I hear it. Thank you for your reaction to this outstanding performance.
Guitarist Brian May wrote this, inspired by his crush at Imperial College (part of University of London) - Brian was far too shy to approach her and ask her out. During this time, he was also reading a work by Robert Graves called “The White Goddess”. Fired by his silent admiration for his beautiful fellow student and the vivid imagery described by Graves , Brian poured his shy young heart out in composing this beauty !
Wow🥰 beautiful Freddie ❤️ how you are missed 😍 thanks for another wonderful reaction Darrin 🤩 we still love you liked already subscribed 😁 Freddie ❤️ Freddie Mercury ❤️
Thank you for not pausing during this masterpiece ( except once 😆 ) I always have goosebumps when watching White Queen. Spellbinding … sometimes I feel like I don’t breathe during this song ( and a few others by Queen ) Thanks for appreciating Queen ✌🏼 They are the GOAT
Some Recommendations 👑❤️👑 “Who wants to live forever” live Wembley 1986 “Time waits for no one” re release 2019 “Barcelona” with Montserrat Caballe “the Miracle” official video release 1989 “A winters Tale” released 1995 (Freddie laid down the tracks for production for the band to do whatever they saw fit …the album was “Made in Heaven” (also name of song on album) very beautiful
Thanks for your reaction. I love this song. Brian's guitar just takes off for another planet during that musical duet. Freddie's vocals are out of this world. Roger's drumming takes on new meaning. John hold true the course. How & why did the British press call Queen "all hype" and put down their musical ability? Boggles my little mind.
Oh the beautiful White Queen unawares of Brian’s affections for her in college Biology class! Brian is a great storyteller getting a Tolkien vibe from this performance! I wished there was a camera on Brian’s guitar during the piano & guitar magical dance! Read somewhere that Queen couldn’t afford another stage cameramen! Oh Shucks!! 🎹🎸
Thanks - this is one of my favorites - who the hell does this kind of thing LIVE? the interplay when Freddie does keys.. and Brian on guitar.. whaaaa... and then, bass and drums? this was an incredible collaboration.. all four members... I really appreciate that you listened to this!
Does anyone know this fun fact, Freddie's outfit has the wings on his cuffs and bottoms of his legs? And the waistcoat at the back shaped like wings? Why you ask? Because Mercury was a Roman God. He had wings on his ankles and wrists and his back. Known as one of the Messenger of the Gods. Now you know.
I legitimately have never heard this song before until now it's amazing that with as big a fan of Queen and I am I can still be surprised by an amazing performance. Thank you very much for the musical education D. I'll see you in the next video in the comments section.
White Queen has to be the most underrated Queen song! Loved your reaction The Odeon that Xmas eve ??? On fire with queen And White Queen!! What a night
This sound is unmatched by anyone - it simply can't be duplicated. Freddie's vocals and his passion, along with Brian's guitar work. This is an amazing live performance by the entire band - period. Brian and his father built his guitar. The wood came from the mantle of a fireplace from an old English castle. It is a one of a kind, but his sound comes primarily from the Deacy Amp. John Deacon, the bass player was an electronics major at the University and he built a special amp, also one of a kind. He use to use it, but gave it to Brian very early on in the band's formation. Brian used this little amp to create many of the sounds. Listen to "Good Company" from The Night at the Opera album and all of those sounds like trumpets and trombones and the entire roaring 20s jazz sounds are all Brian on the guitar with the Deacy Amp. Brilliant work. There is no argument, he is one of the greatest guitar players of all time.
Great reaction!! When you're done with the Queen reactions can you react to Led Zeppelin either Fool in the rain or Black dog. I know you like Queen and they are awesome but there are so many bands you have to try. I'm sure you will really like them
me watching a monkey watching mercury

Same. This even beats out the 1994 Pulse Pink Floyd concert’s “Comfortably Numb,” for me-And Floyd had better toys for that show
The most beautiful voice ever. I miss you, Freddie.
This just makes me more thankful that 4 guys got together and started a littel band.>>>then named it QUEEN>
