Could cinch the discussion if it is magnetic 😬.or you can take it to a dealer or a coin show where there are dealers who have "space age gadgets" that had tell what metals are in a coin. As much as I would like to have one,... the really good machines are over $16K.
I know this video is done quite a while ago. But if anybody at PCGS could answer this question. When you say altered date, do you mean the entire dye was copied and the last digit or the date was altered from there. Because on the 1916 Denver Mercury that date does not look cut.
I think the fakes you're showing here are some of the qworse I have seen. You should add to this collectio n also the best fakes you have seen. Most of these shown here look terrible, I have seen far lot better fakes that are very hard to tell. Thanks for all you educational videos, there are generally good
