Enjoyed the interview but with so many cuts in the video I just had to listen. Audio is perfect 👍. His book was the second magic book I ever owned with the first one being Mark Wilson's big black book.
Great review. I am now 71 years old. I began studying magic at age 15. I recall thinking the same thing Michael said in believing some of what he read had to be fantasy…until I saw someone do it. I could not help but giggle. I also saw Michael perform at the Magic Castle a few times in the day. I have high regards for Michael. Thanks for posting. I look forward to the new book.
I loved the ending! Way to go Jeff! Are you going to do a show about your trip? I would love that and it would be nice to know what goes on at a session. I love Magifest, I’m guessing I would love sessions. I might have to sell a few books to go. lol.
I don't plan to do an official erudite magic episode on my trip, but I will continue to address it in my newsletter. I'd love to see you attend one someday, Scott!
I'm your Korean fan. I bought it after seeing various reviews including Ashwind's repertoire while looking at your reviews. I'm currently thinking about it, which one do you recommend more, Barry Richardson's "Theater of the mind" or "Act 2"? And as far as I know, there are two acaan versions, I wonder which one is more satisfying. Please introduce the characteristics of the two Acaan
This interview made me realize that magicians belong to one of the few artistic endeavours where many of the performers are also teachers and authors. Think about it, do most actors write books on how to act, do musicians write books on how to sing or play, do most authors write books on how to write. What famed magician hasn't written a book, I would say that number is relatively small.
One of the things I like best about magic is how erudite magicians are. The good ones take their scholarship really seriously -- much more so than academics, who really mostly do it for money and status. Magicians always seem to me to be doing it out of love.
Great interview. Michael has always been a thinking magician. It would be great to see a new book from him.
Thanks, Jim!
Michael Ammar looks like he's been hitting the gym 💪
I have, too 😢🤣
Was thinking the same thing 😂
Egypt is a great place to visit
How are we NOT gonna find this very interesting. So excited to watch this.
Thanks, Twat!
Awesome interview! Michael Ammar is such an amazing magician and a true gentleman.
He really is!
Gotta love Michael Ammar!
Great interview.
Absolutely - thanks, Dusty!
Thanks for this great interview. Look forward to Michael’s new book in 2025!
Same!!
I met Michael back in the 90s at a magic convention in New York
So cool!
I know, Micheal. I know. ❤
I was blessed to meet Michael Ammar a few years ago when he came to do a lecture here in Miami.😊
He's incredibly nice!

Wow, those are some great first books!

Isn't that great that magic helps make the impossible, possible, even for magicians!
I hope they make the first print run big enough for all of us to buy a copy!
I'm betting it will be, but I know where you can go for the most up-to-date information 😃
Great interview
Thanks!
Wonderful interview 👏👏
Thanks, Robert
I bought his videos in the 90s and loved it!
The Easy to Master ones, or the Classic Renditions?
It’s been so long, it had the trick where you throw the card on the ceiling!
I think that was one of the Rendition tapes. So great!
Loved the ending!!!
Haha, isn't that great??
It’s a wonderful book.
One of the best!
Wow! Very nice!
Thank you!
Bro, do you even double lift??? Michael sure does 💪 Dudes jacked
lol, indeed!

I don't think I can address that here, but feel free to shoot me an email or a DM via Instagram

@@twatmunro Very true, I doubt a whole lot of them can live off their book sales.
@jethro1963 So true. I had never thought about that before.
@@twatmunroacademics do it for money or status? Not true at all
Will Vanishing Inc produce the book? Will there be a pre order available I wonder 🤔?
No plans ... yet
@@EruditeMagic keep us posted 😁
