As a sailor for 40 years, and a 🇨🇦 Paul Watson is a hereo of mine. Sorry to say i didn't know on all the crew on Greenpeace, well done. A beautiful Rigg, a beautiful person., including his soulmate. And a very interesting interview and tour. I would say ever true sailors dream of a work shop. U couldn't agree more about, a man who spends a life using his hands, never auits. And thank for your work/ being a part of greatpiece . It seems the bad guys always win.
Beautiful boat and kept in great condition given it is some 25yrs old. A man with such great experience including time with Skip Novak. Thanks for the tour. Andy UK
Je bent zo'n goede interviewer Jessica! Wat een geweldig verhaal, en je laat die man maar praten en praten. Dat is een gave. Super. Echt van genoten. geweldig kanaal. Wat een inspiratie.
Nobody talks of Viking these days but they still exist or at lest their adventure do. There is more untold than the video reveals. Keep the interviews coming. Cheers
Thank you for something different! I get a little tired of the usual frivolous and hedonistic stories that seem to be characteristic of the cruising community at large 🙄. It's refreshing to find someone who evidently feels the same about our uncodified yet implicit obligations to the natural world that gives us all such enjoyment. Hank is my kind of cruising sailor, there is a purpose other than mindless self-indulgence to his çruising life and I greatly respect and honour his unselfish lifestyle. We need more sailors like Hank !
Why isn't your channel at several hundred thousand subscribers and a million views? What a wonderful channel! I not only love seeing life long sailors that have acquired their dream vessel but I really enjoy hearing their stories. As a kid I didn't have quality parents that were around much so I spent my youth listening to stories and learning about life from the greatest generation in history. I'm referring to those who were kids during the depression era and then spent their first year or two of adulthood in a foreign country fighting a enemy of humanity. It would be great if you could also record any stories of their sailing life they care to share or lessons they want others to know.
Working hard to grow the channel, Ben. Thanks for your kind words. We’re trying to show the stories of sailors from all walks of life. Young, old, middle aged, small budget, unlimited budget, experienced and newbies. hoping to inspire others and to just add some quality content to the worldwideweb. Always open to suggestions ☺️
Remarkable story, about an interesting Man - you are a good interviewer Jessica. He was given time to tell his amazing story. I will now subscribe - thank you for your work. 🦘🦘🦘
I found this to be a very interesting interview, what an amazing life this man has had. The accommodations for 8 people looked very cramped and the facilities very basic. I lived on a 53ft boat for 3 years and that can be a challenging experience for just 2 people.
Thank you for your kind words. Henk is an amazing man and Tiama a wonderful boat. Yes, with 8 people it might get a bit tight, but the experience probably made up for that.
Op een boot wonen is 1000 keer beter om je stress niveau laag te houden. Als boer in Nederland heb je een mega hoog strees niveau vanwege de elite die aan landjepik doen. Powerlove from the Netherlands. We blijven de boeren steunen👊
Really smashing well worth seeing and listening, even better as I sit in Opua NZ looking at my catamaran dream of the Pacific Islands next year, enjoy your traveling take care.Tony Base

Ride the waves, who knows what happens, however he& partner definitely adjusted the sails for a amazing trip. Thank you for the programming!

Great plans for the year ahead. Wishing you all the best for 2023!
Real steel.
Wat een toeval, wij hebben in de winter van 2018 naast ze gelegen op Terschelling.

ja, klopt. sorry voor de teleurstelling. maar kreeg een foutmelding na een kleine aanpassing 🙈
;He build' ? What sort of Engish is that ?
Whoopsie 😅
Are you judging his English (which to me sounds wonderfully) or the life achievements of this remarkable gentleman?
it was a mistake in the title. I’ve changed it now
What sort of spelling is "engish"?
Toch fijn zo'n pensioen van groene vrede.
have to wonder if the boat smells of diesel from those heaters , wonderful ship btw , it stinks how fast life goes by
It didn’t when I was there, but it was probably 30 degrees Celsius, so no need to use it 😅
