Ran 6 miles and after the first mile it became very comfortable. The cushioning was perfect, enough space for the toes, and stable. The run was enjoyable 10 minute miles effortless and does have a spring. This shoe is well constructed.

I love the stiffer feel to it, their changes to older models really f'ed up my legs. I won't be able to run in these for a few weeks, but I'm looking forward to trying them out again. I kept my old ones in the closet this whole time and you could definitely feel a difference between the twenties and the 22s in sponginess.

I have the GTS 21 and I was a new runner when I got them. I like the deep grooves for snow. Now I'm trying to decide if I should get the newer model. I don't feel like I need as much support anymore.

Just picked up a pair, I will give them a spin and post a review. I am flat footed, 64, and love to run. I haven’t found that running shoe where it’s comfortable in long runs. My rotations include NB, Saucony, and Ultras.

Whats your experience with it so far? And especially compared to other stability brands?

October 28th I took them out for a 16 mile run. Not enough cushioning, developed discomfort on the upper ankles. Since then I changed the insole, raising the arch and the socks for better comfort. These shoes are made for a faster pace, they are great. As I mentioned I am flat footed so I find Altra paradigm 6 to do the trick. I’m running a Ultra marathon January using these.

I have a pair of these even though I have a very neutral gait. They are heavy, midsole is firmer than my other shoes but it runs pretty well. Good stability and responsive. The outsole is also grippy.

not sure if they are available in the US but True Motion has some shoes like the Nevos model that work with a U shaped midsole that helps with stabilising pronation and center the knee. worked miracles for the knee issues I've had for decades.

At present, I have a few pair of shoes which i rotate. NB 1080v11, NB fuelcell Propel v3, Brooks Adrenaline v22, Hoka Rincon 3.
Best overall handsdown is Hoka Rincon 3. light, cushy, responsive, grippy and stable.
Adrenaline v22 felt stable and protective but I find the sole harder than the 1080v11.
1080v11 is comfortable but it feels tall and unstable.
Propelv3 is just a budget model. Not great in everything except good rebound.

Just watched your review of the Adrenaline GTS 22. I'm a runner who needs stability, and I've been in the Adrenaline since 19, after transitioning from neutral running shoes and into the Addiction 12, after an injury. I've always hated the medial post & the plastic midsole structures used by various manufacturers, because I'm a runner who grinds thru the outer edge of the outsole and into those structures in less than 200 miles. I love the Guiderail approach because I don't need all of my stability on the medial side, I need guidance. Currently I'm in my 2nd pair of Adrenaline 20's and I can get over 320mi out of a pair, which is unheard of for me.

Adrenaline was my fist “fast shoe” so when I got back to running with no Lunarglide, first shoe I tried was Adrenaline 19. Then returned it. It felt like I was running in a Beast. Currently in the Guide (for this genre) and not impressed with that either. Seems like the ASICS 2000 is the last old school stability daily trainer out there that’s still fast without all the wobbly cushy gimmicks.

Thanks for calling out the company's aggressive, if not misleading, claims about hips/knee. I am currently using the Glycerin GTS 19 -- so far so good :)

  • @michaelbell6041

Never ran in the adrenaline but I do run in the glycerin gts 19. Found it do be a comfortable shoe for long distances and easy miles, and if you really want to some faster stuff but it is a max cushion heavy shoe. If they changes the name of the adrenaline they should just go for “ghost gts”. I might give the adrenaline 22 a shot when I need a new daily trainer. I’m tempted to try the glycerin 20 since I heard the midsole foam is getting an update. Decisions decisions

I did a shoe finder test online and the adrenaline GTS 22 was recommended for me, I haven't physically tried this shoe out yet, but I will eventually....I need something that will keep my heel supported, and also some arch support, I'm mainly a walker, would these work for that (since most of the comments seem focused on running)

SO, im debating this show. Ive been wearing Ghost 14 mainly or on clouds. I only pronate a tiny bit and wonder if this show is good for me. Any thoughts, is this a smart shoe to try? i run 4-10 + miles a week. the 12m drop is a lot, will that cause more hip issues or knee issues due to the 12 m drop???? Thanks!

Do you feel comfortable in the shoes you mentioned? Any issues? If not, then those shoes and their latest updates would be better. This is a lot of guidance.

@@DoctorsofRunning Hey thanks for the quick reply. I’m pretty comfortable in them. I was drawn to the other brooks for looks and looking at stability shoes. See if I really need to go that route. I appreciate ur feed back

Do you think this shoe would work for someone like myself who has a neutral left foot but a little pronation in my right.
    Thank you

Really confused between Ultraboost 21 Vs Ultraboost 22 Vs Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21 Vs Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22. I am an overweight person and a mild over pronator. Need to stand/ walk/ jog more than 8 hours in a day. Need an all in one shoe. Please guide.

Hi Matt. Really enjoyed the review of the GTS 22. no doubt I’ll end up buying it in the next 3-4 months!
I currently use the adrenaline 21 as my daily trainer. Doing my first marathon in April this year. Is there a Carbon plated racing shoe that you could recommend? (one that will compliment the adrenaline). Arch support being the primary reason for using the Adrenaline. Thanks

I think, aesthetically, they could do a better job of integrating the guiderails. The slash marks are ugly and spoil an otherwise great shoe..in my opinion.
