its like 400x faster to do it without the pick just for certain edits need to pull out pick and most people includinf fast editors are used to pulling it
I feel like the best way to get better and lose the habit of bringing out your pickaxe during the blueprint editing is to disable your pickaxe bind while doing the warm up then binding it back when you are done. I've done it and its helped me out alot recently so you dont have to take my adivce but I def reccomend it

You can also choose which piece of build you want to edit. For example if you have a roof and a wall in front of it instead of defaulting to the wall you can blueprint to roof and edit that. This helps for peace control, etx
