Very cool, you had me at 80's music! That's a great deal for a starred restaurant. Honestly, I haven't heard of it, but it's definitely added to my list! As always, an excellent review sir!
James, superb as always! The absolute highlight was you said what I was thinking. The waiter swept away the truffle shavings, which I would have scooped off the table to eat! Cheers!
@@JamesnuYou're welcome. Also if you ever in the midtown area between 57th and 59th check out this new place called Ella Mozzarella Pizzeria. They do have other things also besides pizza. 😂🙏🏼
The pasta course is confusing - if the & is a typo, they need to address it - if not, then you lost a course. Either way, I will ask when I eat there in Dec. Thanks for the tips James!
It was a really good ice cream! I'm not sure why they haven't altered their menu yet. A lot of people who went to the restaurant before me have already complained about it.
I would totally pay that price for all that food. I initially thought it could not be possible that you were jipped, given the price and amount of plates offered. Strange that they didn't use Or instead of And.
Yeah, it was definitely worth it! It was great food and good variety! That was a confusing and misleading menu quirk, but other than that, the restaurant provides a great experience.
I _really_ find this guy pleasant and likable, enjoy watching him swing for the fences w dining choices. Dig his verbal descriptions. I mean this in a purely supportive way (or I’d never bother): I only wish he’d not make that same facial reaction to each bite all the time; it feels inorganic & prevents me from getting a natural, authentic impression. If you see this, James, I mean NO offense & continue watching & 👍ing. Best to you going forward! 👌✌️
@@Jamesnu I subbed to make sure you knew I was serious. And, off topic, I truly feel for ya when you mentioned hoping to find a good partner to share these dinners with. I’ve been there. I’m sure in 2024 we’ll be seeing you making reservations for two (I only hope you’ll be able to go Dutch! Lol). ✌️
You're a nicer guy than you should be to be honest. Whilst I can understand it being a choice of the two dishes based on how the courses are separated with the lines, it still says '&' which isn't confusing, its just wrong. You also weren't asked. For $90 and a michelin star, you are more than within your rights to expect a hell of alot better than that. That said, I won't deny everything looked delicious.
what a lovely journey their tasting menu offered. the lobster looked like a highlight!!thanks for clearing up on the pastas being a choice. I know you didnt say... but... in sure you could have slammed back a pizza after that...or were you sated?
I could always go for a dessert of pizza, haha! But I was decently filled up. Although I definitely could've eaten more, there have been other places where I've been left with more of an appetite than my dinner at this restaurant. Overall, I felt like I got my money's worth and really enjoyed the food!

Thank you! Yeah, it was one of those starred restaurants that was kind of under the radar, but it's definitely a spot that I really enjoyed.
It would have made paying for your meal more charming if they presented your bill with a red paper clip.
Haha! Yeah, that would've been a nice touch!
Or if instead of the cheap-looking staple holding the menu pages together. Missed opportunities all round.
Hey James! Love the videos dude.
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
The everything brioche looks amazing!
It was a beautiful dish and very tasty!
James, superb as always! The absolute highlight was you said what I was thinking. The waiter swept away the truffle shavings, which I would have scooped off the table to eat! Cheers!
Thank you! Yeah, that was one appetizing mess that was cleared away too soon.
@@Jamesnu I was cringing when he was sweeping them up!
@@MrBluesilverred Haha!
I’m sold on this one!
It's a good one!
I just made a reservation (based on this video). The tasting menu is now $110 per person.
Nice! I hope that you enjoy it!
I'm out and about and I saw the notification. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you!

@@FoodMaster64 Thanks for the recommendation! It looks good! I might check it out sometime.
Great filming, and you're making me hungry.
Haha! Thanks! It definitely helps getting good footage when the food looks so tasty.
James mate, brush your barnet!
You should write a book about out dining in NYC.
Salutations from Belfast Northern Ireland 🇬🇧
Haha! Maybe someday.
Another great one!
Thank you very much!

Thanks for another enjoyable video! As always, you present a very thorough and well-balanced review, covering many aspects of your experience.
Thanks for watching! It's always appreciated!
another great video! :)
Thank you so much!
I enjoy your channel very much. Love NY. I’ll definitely be trying some of these places on my next visit!!
Thank you so much!
Looks amazing, however you should have mentioned the missing course, that’s unacceptable.
Yeah, I forgot all about it until I left. I hope they make some changes to their menu, because it was confusing.
The food looks delicious, although the portions are pretty small. The Lobster 3 ways was the most unique and traditional dish!
It was great food indeed! Yeah, the lobster 3 ways was probably my favorite course. Everything was really good!
Whoa that all looked good…some smaller portions but all in all a good experience and good presentation…keep it up my man
Thank you! Yeah, collectively it was a really great dinner!
A 5 Spice Ice Cream sounds interesting. Email them about the discrepancy. Another great video.

I thought the oyster with a yuzuk mksho mouette was a ramen with an oyster on top.
Yeah, that was a crazy presentation.

Never been to a michelin starred restaurant🤔
They're expensive, but they're definitely worth trying at least once!
OMG you make me so hungry
Haha! Thanks for watching!
The 'g' in agnolotti is silent...

I'm surprised you can eat like this in nyc for $90. That sounds cheap to me.
It's definitely one of the most affordable tasting menus out there.
the vinaigrette on the oyster is called a MIN yon ette.. and close your mouth when you chew ffs.
Whats youre credentials ?
I'm just a passionate eater.
@@Jamesnu fair enough
you need credentials to eat?
Their menu needs help.
The food was good, but the actual written menu should be adjusted.
That trout roe/yolk number! 😳🤌👌!!!!
(Oof! You didn’t mention the BILL at the end! What was the damage so we all know what to brace for?) ✌️
That was a good dish! The bill came to about $98, but with my tip I think I spent about $118.
