I remember when in modern comics they changed his hair color to the Tiger Force version. The justification? He was infected by a zombie virus created by Cobra, but his immune system was so strong that it defeated the infection, leaving him just with white hairs. Kinda badass if you ask me.
I’d love to see a classified full wave overview/ play day. Great video too robo if target was in Canada I’d try to hunt down all the target exclusives but watching others review and mess around with them will do for now😂
Robo, the white spots on the back of the knee are where the pieces of the leg are separated from the sprue. Mine has them as well, but are hidden by the green paint app. So, I'd guess yours were a bit more of a rough cut from the sprue and somehow caught a bit of white paint app from being raised more than they should have been. Either that or the green paint app rubbed off due to being more raised and you're seeing base coat/primer.
Classified is really hitting it's stride. Head scuplts and details are on point. The rising prices, unfortunately are forcing me to pick and choose instead of going all in.
A sad truth. Personally i am going to skip the regular release of Outback because i like the Tiger Force version a little more. Just two years ago i would have bought both.
Have always been a casual viewer of this line but man it really is super tempting to start getting a few (that Kamakura is really neat). I'm a sucker for posing options.
Majority of my (non-robot) collection consist of 3.75" Marvel Universe and G.I. Joe and I am not looking into building a separate 6-inch scale collection. I have few 6-inch Superheroes and I'll just get Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.
I like the older version looking outback. A seasoned soldier he has been thru a few battles in different terrains. Hasbro pulled it off work this character & Spirit. Looking forward for the crimson Guards unboxing. I'm on the fence if to army build The vipers , the bats & now the crimson Guards is on scene. Decisions Decisions But the Vipers might be my choice since they have the 3 pack just wish that all where vipers in package & not one as a squad leader that one they should have sold separate because army building from that pack to many leaders kind it defeats the purpose of army building from that box set.
Love how Robo goes into the minute details of the differences between the sculpts in the pants of Outback and Duke to persuade us that it's a different sculpt, but then completely missed that one is pinless and the other has pins. Love ya Uncle Robo!😅
I think part of his charm as an older fig is the connection to adult collectors. It’s a nice nod, even if unintentional, to peeps who keep carrying the toy torch.

Puts me in mind of a buffer Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Superb looking figure. I like the look of this and the forthcoming red-headed version. I'd justify both as being father and son. The head sculpt is superb!
Great to see a new G.I.Joe video. I really like this Outback as well with his hairy arms and grey hair on top. Very expressive face too with just the right accessories. Going to be hard to find this for an affordable price down in Oz though...I will be searching for it though. Thanks for the review and looking for to more new Joe.

Outback was always on my team as a kid. Beachhead, Low-light, and Outback. They were just the best of the best. I too religiously let Target know yes I want it. This figure is awesome. I want Hasbro to knuckle down and create that accessories pack. I’m it will be black and brown fists, black and brown right handed trigger finger hands with up and down hinge. Among other things. Sarge spooled me with the hand options. Tiger Force Outback, Spirit, BAT, Sarge, and Storm Shadow top five…ole Serpentor may challenge but he needs an air chariot to do so.
I was thinking about the Outback figure and how the torso could be good for a Jay Garrick Flash or Alan Scott Green Lantern custom. It is a bit buff but it works and I prefer the articulation style from the Classified Series compared to other Hasbro lines.
I've gotten the "globe" icon on a few of my Joes. It's a graphical representation of a "404 icon not found". Best I could glean is his first icon should be level 3 Environmental Specialist. As for the sculpt, I can't be the only person who sees older Harrison Ford. The lopsided mouth, the crooked nose, the "leave me alone" scowl. I've seen a few in the wilds of Canada, keep thinking I might pick one up for a Thracken Sal-Solo custom

I hope Hasbro Pulse does another run themselves so I can maybe actually get this Outback. Hope they do all Tiger Force and Python Patrol figs once more through Pulse, as well.

Then again, the original was a European exclusive, so I guess it makes sense. For me I don't need the other version after getting this. Not just the hair, but even the sculpt and paint of the skin looks aged. On top of the old man Rambo vibe, the semi-vibrant shirt also gives me slight Rick Flag vibes. My only problem is the looseness of the backpack and the awkwardness of the torso straps, but it's still my favorite Joe so far.

I’ve got this figure and anytime i mess with him it feels like he’s Snake from metal gear solid. I ended up taking snake eyes shemagh and putting it on outback. It fits really well and just blends nicely with his pants. Unfortunately it covers up the tiger emblem but it is what it is.

i'm so upset target up and cancelled my preorder on me because this is the look I wanted. I managed to snag a preorder for young outback but if I ever find this one before that then that's cancelled.
I told myself I would not be getting Tiger Force or Python Patrol repaints but this might be the one exception. Just because the original TF Outback is too expensive. At least I could say I own ONE.
I can't stand that shirt with the tiger on it, but I love everything else about it. Will definitely just get the main line version coming in a few months.
The sculpt is awesome and the accessories are nice, but the plastic used for the rifle is softer than previous material used for weapons and it's very difficult to put it in the figures hand without warming up the hand first.
Ngl, I think I've finally found the perfect arms and legs for my old man Rex custom. Hopefully I can just jam them into the Clone body without too much drermmeling or anything.

So far I only have the twins lady jaye ( first one ) flint movie scarlet and Baroness also have the first release scarlet and updated one ( where was my mind lol!😂 But yeah I have a lot to collect so yeah he is a good one!✌️

Never saw my money returned to my account and when I check to see my bank account a week later to see that Target pending was gone. My money was not returned. So I canceled it. I'm not pre-ordering from them again.

I've seen some people use Red Ninja's lower body for Daredevil customs, but this guy will work even better with those boots. Great video review.

I had the 3 3/4" Outback back in the day and can't wait for the 6" classic.
I got mine last September and I may say that I am so pleased by this figure and the upcoming younger Outback is an easy pass for me. GREAT REVIEW 👍

Serpentor is the prettiest and most well done that I’ve seen in this line. I love the way Stalker looks but this is my favorite figure of the line.

*sigh* seeing these reviews makes me want to pay scalper prices for him. I missed out on the pre-order phase for this version. I have the regular version on pre-order. I am not a fan of "Tiger Force" so I don't have a particular desire to have this one...but...he's growing on me....

the globe icon must be like super elite stealth, hence why you can't find the icon, it's so super elite even the icon is well hidden.
