I regret passing on this thing, even though I'm glad I saved the money. This looks like the *perfect* military vehicle for toy photography, I love how much play it has while still seeming to be sturdy. But even if I had it, I'd never use those tampos. Back, foul stickers! Back, I say!
I'm glad it wasn't just me who thought that warning label was for us. So immersive!
Yeah, when I first realized there were decals I had a moment of "Ooo, maybe make it more unique?" but after messing with it I like it just fine as is. I use the stickers somewhere else. And it IS sturdy, I put it through some paces out in the dirt and then posing around, it's solid.
I was not prepared for the heft of this thing! Incredible piece, probably the most fun Haslab I've received.
Yeah, in the box is one thing, outside the package it's a beast.
The funny thing in the comics is that there's Cobra Lawyers (Law Vipers) and a Cobra trooper retirement center so it wouldn't surprise me if they have insurance.
I did not know that. It sounds crazy but cool at the same time.
Unfortunately I didn't back this tank when the opportunity was presented, I later purchased two of them online that cost me a small pirate's treasure, and not together separately a few months apart as money 💵 involved was insane well over $500 each!!! Plus 90 dollars shipping through FedEx that my buddy ordered for me and hand delivered them to me from his house as he doesn't have a car and lives several miles from me and took a bus to my house alone with lugging this heavy A** box on his shoulders a good part of the way on and off the bus!!! On both tanks!!! A few months apart!!! I have no car myself I'm in the same situation as him!!! But these Tanks are incredibly cool 😎

The final Fwoosh video flew under my radar and it took me a month to notice your new channel. Love your pacing and enthusiasm.
I’ve always subscribed to the notion that the Haslab HISS was the beginning. I am hoping they do tone it down and put it in stores or on their site. Remove the lights, maybe the rockets and hallow out the inside some and I’m sure it could work. I’d love to have one or two more and would be happy with dumb down versions if that’s what it takes.

I think I’ve watched all the HISS unboxing videos by the community and I can’t get enough of them. I really do hope Hasbro finds a way to get another Classified offering of the HISS for all the fans to enjoy. I think they will. I mean we have at least three more vehicles coming 2024, four if Dragonfly makes it. I still think 2025 for that. So VAMP, Ferret, SMS, and whatever else may scratch the Classified itch for collectors in 2024. The play has just begun. Those ports for the machine guns intrigue me as a port for stands to hold Trubble Bubbles. The HISS is a wonderful piece!
I would say it’s more likely than not that there will be more HISS tank offerings in the future. A considerable amount of engineering went into this tank. I can’t imaging they would throw away the molds.
I would totally buy a stripped down, non-electronic version of the HISS.
Make it blue or dark grey to stand out from this one.
Yeah, I could imagine a HISS with no lights, no side missiles, etc, either the full vintage style or with just the gull-wing canopy and upgraded tread guards and not the retro ones, and then just one driver. $199? I'd love it if it was $150.

Thanks Robo, I have not opened mine all the way yet, have to make room, but you showed parts of the Hiss I didn't see from others. Making me more excited to play with mine. Next week when I have time off for Christmas.
FYI. If you leave the lights on they go off automatically and when pressed again will start on the last sequence you left the lights at

I haven’t opened my HISS Tank just yet, I am waiting for the three Fire Team 788 figures to arrive this week so I can pose them with the tank and leave the gunner, driver, tactician and MM Cobra Commander in their packaging. I normally get doubles of everything except for this so I can keep 00-100 MIB and will open everything else because those boxes take up a lot of room…lol (real world problems). Great review, probably the best one so far, also glad you showed me a few things about this so I don’t force/break anything (just wondering if the harness is very durable). Good luck branching out on your own Robo, I already subscribed to your new channel but it will be weird not hearing the Fwoosh intro anymore. As a retired military veteran I always enjoy your videos, good to know you are still going to be providing us with great news/information….Cheers!🎉
Thanks! I try to fumble through so others don't have to, haha! I actually haven't pulled too hard on the harness, my thought is that if it comes out I may not be able to put it back in. And oh yeah, as long as I'm able I'll be talking about toys!

The lights are on a timer, so don't even worry about accidentally activating them. Also, those figure opening montages where incredibly satisfying..
14:13 You took the words right out of my head. By the way, the "high alert" red light in the back is actually significant, but for a different reason. While it will keep you alert, "red light" does not interfere with your night vision the way that white light does. It allows you to see well enough while also keeping you combat ready.

Thanks Robo. Every time I walk past mine I can’t stop looking at it. I did keep mine more old school looking, but it does look overpowering with everything on it. I did change up the crew a little with the gunner driving, the tactician in the turret and the driver hanging out with the regular troops.
If I had a second (and unlimited funds and space) I would totally keep it clean and neat.
The under turret attaches to scrap irons tank drone, just right 👍

Hasbro did a phenomenal job!
Considering the amount of investment that they put into the metal dies, the package design, and no doubt other vehicles like the VAMP will see re-releases/reusage of thier molds for future variants, I think it might be mid year 2024 that we will see a Crimson Guard version of this announced, sans the electronics and other extras.
Gaaaaah I NEED thisssssssss!!!! Seriously I wish there was a way Hasbro could mass produce a stripped down version of this thing. I don't need the extras like lights, 3 figures, or extra panels...although the missiles would be nice, but MmmmmmMmmmmmmm this HISS looks so good.
That's what I was talking about at the end, some talk of that at SDCC but no firm plans. I know I'd get another.

Gullwing canopy all the way. Mine is still unopened, but I plan on using a Scrap Iron missile blast effect to rig up one of the HISS missiles launching, sans glue, hopefully.
I haven't had a chance to open Scrap Iron yet, I need to do that and see what I can mix and match!
I have watched a few reviews of the H.I.S.S Tank and seems most of them are like why are there two canopy's, why just a plain one? And that's because the plain canopy and side panels are for those who want to give it that retro look. I'd have to go back and forth and display both looks, or if I had two one of each look. Good review.
This thing is AWESOME…
1: The figure guns are based off KRISS VECTOR air soft guns
2: The Tactician weapons baggie actually has “100” stamped on it very small.
3. I’d love to see an aftermarket Tripod so the small mini guns on the turret could be lifted off and mounted.
4) 788 team & techno/SMS is gonna look SICK… and turn this from just a murder death kill tank to a playset!

I'm definitely not big enough of a GI Joe fan to go all in on a big hunk of plastic like this, but when I saw the headswap that Preternia did with Silk (the Two-pack Doc Ock one) and the Hiss Gunner, I definitely did a double take.
I hope and pray that they make the GI Joe General!!
The shotgun with the gunner is the Origin 12 and i want this whole set just for that 😂 so badass

I would love to pick up a stripped down version of this. No electronics, sell the figures as a three pack and sell it for $190. I'd be all over that.
I would definitely get another, especially in snow deco. Or blue!
If the do a mainline release version of this, it will probably be without all the options. Like it will have one canopy or the other, one set of tread covers (if any), and no rocket launchers on the side. Plus no electronics and only one driver figure. Also, if they modify the cannon on top to a three-barrel version and make it a light grey instead of black, boom, it's a HISS II. That would likely drop the price in half. $150 vs the $100 for the VAMP with Clutch would make sense to me.
The multi boxes remind me of the Vintage Collection Fett's Throne Room set

Yeah, after putting it on I didn't want to switch back out because as sturdy as it is those felt a little brittle.

I want to say there's been at least one or a few figures in the Marvel Legends or GI Joe Classified line that have had the boot twist moved down closer to the ankle to make the articulation look less awkward, but i can't remember which figure it was for the life of me. I just hope they continue that trend as the usual method of putting the cut at the thickest part of the calf looks hideous if you dare use it.

I’ve opened mine. I bought this thing to play with and display not for rarity. I just sliced open the bottom of the card and extracted Cobra Commander easily leaving his card intact.
I don't give a damn about rarity, I just like the presentation and waiting for the one I want with the correct Cobra logo.
That monster is a better Thunder Tank than the officially released one by Super&.

Having that said if Robo does leave fwoosh I have no problem supporting him as a fulltime youtuber rather than "fwoosh". I've never watched any of those livestreams with Veebs and some other person. If they part it would definitely be an L for fwoosh. Robo will be fine. I think most of us are fans of his rather than the brand.

They could rip out the electronics, drop the front gun, the tread covers and the missiles...only have the driver included and you can easily cut at least £/$100 of the price for regular retail
That would have been awful. I’ll take 3 exclusive figures (2 of them army builders) and those accessories for $100 any day.
I believe they are talking about a stripped down retail release to get reuse out of the tank and get it into more hands with different decos while the Haslab stays special.

Be careful with seat restraints, as bottom restraint is epoxied in at its anchor point.
I couldn't even get myself to use the extra turret shielding because it was unpainted, covering a painted logo just... can't.
