Unfortunately quality control is doing a poor job when it comes to her glasses. I had to order 3 of them before I found one that didn't have one lens warped and fogged up so bad you couldn't see her eye. Being they're hardly ever in stock it took weeks. :(

I just got into this line and turns out that this set is really easy to find where I live and it's pretty cheap, so I don't mind the bike and accesories at all
Hasbro should make a G.I. Joe app where it can take QRC code reader and put a QR code on the side of the package. That way, you can scan the code and immediately decode the file card. Plus, you can use it to keep track of your collection.
I still have only seen Roadblock of this wave. I have seen the others show up on popfindr but they were never at the store when I got there. So frustrating. Still waiting on my pre-orders of Cobra Commander from that goofy app they made us all sign up for too. I will lose my mind if I see Cobra Commander in the store before those pre-orders get shipped, especially after accidentally ordering 2 because their site was so lagged out. I really wish Hasbro would just put pre-orders up before release and then crank them out to meet the initial demand so we aren't constantly battling scalpers.

Man, I wish the ML Legendary Riders vehicles got that much love. Look at all that original sculpt and all those paint apps! That cycle looks terrific and I love the Akira vibe, I really hope I'll manage to get ahold of this set!

I really am not a grumpy guy but it’s really upsetting to me to watch all these toy reviewers give it a “ho hum” and negative review when I can’t even get it. I really want it and it just seems like hoarders and scalpers are just sitting on this yet reviewers are just trashing it. It’s enough for me to give up on this line. Crazy times.
Overall this is a good set. I wish the Baroness came with the Cobra Ferret (the ATV) instead of the motorcycle. As Robo said if you qant the classic look, this is the set. But who knows if we're getting another Baroness figure later on. Still need a Baroness in her blue uniform as well. Great job Robo!!
Dear sweet Luci, you found the holy grail. The "female arms are too thin for double elbows" thing is just getting ridiculous though, I mean c'mon Jazwares can do it, and a bunch of other companies can. I don't get Hasbro's weird aversion to them. Or heck just beef up the arms, give the girls some guns!
Hi Robert not sure if you've heard this or not but the Target exclusive G.I.JOE line has been canceled and the figures are supposed to be re-released later on everywhere.
Figures are great, but the common issue is the wrist and feet gets easily loose. I just display them with double sided tape on their foot, then the next day you see them falling doing the matrix
Purple-haired Baroness? NO THANKS! After finding out the standalone might be based off the game where the Baroness has a huge chunk of purple in her hair I absolutely had to get this one. After weeks of dead ends I gave in to a scalper but the next morning Popfindr led me to a nearby Target that just got a fresh stock. I love this figure and even the bike, I don't mind having 2 at all. And damn it felt good to find one of these the normal way!
Have never seen these on the actual shelves. Had to use Popfindr to get both of mine. Not seeing it on the shelves I kindly asked one of the employees for help. Gave the dpci # and they tracked it down for me. Some stores are limiting one per customer so they are holding them in back and doing the first come first served thing. You can also call up the store to make sure they haven't already sold them all. Depending on the store, they may even hold it for you. No guarantee they will hold it. Hope this is helpful if you are still looking for her.... seriously though, be kind to these Target employees. It's not their fault Hasbro and Target screwed up distribution, and pre-orders. Bots and Scalpers aren't making it easier either

I'm over the complaints just for complaints sake. I knew you would give a pretty fair review, but the positive comments are what I knew the Baroness would get . . . her just DUE. I finally bought one on ebay, now that the prices busted down to something un-obscene. $65 + $14 Fed-Ex shipping . . . because F@#! TAR-GOT-U, AND HASBLO.
Hope can get her eventually. Just hope we don't have a Serpentor and am in scale hiss by then. Marvel comics to blame on that idea. Reading that story currently.
My Target had a couple of these the other week, along with series 2, but no other Cobra Island figures. I thought about getting her, but can't really justify $40 when I don't care about the bike. I'm not stressed though. I have Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, so anything else is gravy. :)
Me and another guy got to the Toy aisle to see an empty shelf. The other guy got an employee to go check in the back and bingo! We both got our Baroness'. I, too would have preferred Just the figure at half the price, but what are ya gonna do. (I may try to do some paint work on the bike.)

I like the set. Baroness looks stunning. The bike is let down by the cheap looking red plastic, should've used swirly twirly red like on the Iron Man Marvel Legends. Oh and the bike can't turn worth a damn. ;)
But that Storm doesn't have double elbows. And really, I'm okay with singles if they give more range, which they've proven they can do more than a few times.

The articulation on Baroness sucks except for the wrists. I did get this set and was somewhat disappointed. I saw they were coming out with a new retro-carded version, but it looks like almost the exact same figure, with less red details, a sniper rifle and removable glasses. It would have saved me $15-20, but I was hoping they would have fixed some of the issues with this figure's articulation.
Great review a always, this wave has been hands down the biggest pain in the ass for me to find in many years, have not seen a single one, finally pulled the trigger and paid double on eBay for all of them except Roadblock, hate to reward scalpers but prices have steadily increased over the last week as inventories are drying up. Spoke to my local Target manager and he said he only received 2 figures in his last order that were swooped up before they even made it out of the stock room and they’ve been shut down on reorders so wondering if this may be it for these releases until the variants are reissued in the regular line. Hasbro is making it hard to love them at the moment.
I did the same thing after the same issues with Firefly and Cobra Viper repeated yesterday. Could be wrong but suspect there is no way this gets fixed in less than a year, if ever.
I just got this one a few weeks back it was available via Amazon at this point, I also picked up the retro 6in in the same classified line recently too. Enjoyed the video. What heat gun do you use by chance, I’m new to this aspect of collecting figures and I had the same issue with the coil cycle with the handlebar to socket fit also. Didn’t think about a heat gun but what kind did you use? Does it matter? Thanks
7:14 'Maybe the thinness of the arms on female figures aren't meant to have double joints' I've heard this said a lot in relation to Hasbro's female figures, but then I look at the DC Icons Harley Quinn and it just makes me question why Hasbro doesn't do that. I'm calling it now one day when we get a comic-based female figure in the Marvel Legends line that has double jointed elbows it's going to be praised as one of the best Marvel Legends of that year.
Because DC may have had different safety regulations since Icons was a direct market item meant for adults. This line is stocked at general brick and mortar stores with kid traffic. That's all peculation on my part though.
@@TheFwoosh That honestly sounds about right, plus DC for all their well articulated figures have had infamous quality control issues with the durability of their plastics compared to Hasbro, with Hasbro you're guaranteed for lack of a better word a 'safe' figure that won't break easily, whereas DC as well as Neca or import figures tend to be a lot more fragile.
Took a road trip to a different Target for BeachHead or CobraTrooper nothing but RoadBlocks on the pegs but looked down and there she was thought to myself do I need a motorcycle said no get it away

Hey I am in the same area lol I was actually able to find a cobra trooper in marina and then a baroness up in san jose.
I lucked out and found the case of 3 on a stock cart, had an employee crack it open, and got one. I imagine the other two never saw the shelf.
As a casual collector, I'll never see this in stores MSRP.

I would say out most of the characters having Baroness, Destro, and Cobra Commander own gold-plated weapons make sense for their personalities.

I think the storm with Thunderbird 2pk will have the double joints you want. Then you'll quickly realize you dont want those.

Back in 86 I tired to win a contest to win the GI Joe aircraft carrier my brothers both tried to help me I remember UPS coming to our door and it wasn’t i cried lol 😂
Growing up in the 80s and playing with gi Joe's I've always like cobra so much more than the joes. Cobra characters are just too cool not to like.
