- This puzzling story of Saul supposedly speaking to Samuel has caused much controversy, between amongst those who believe that the Soul is immortal and those who believe the dead know nothing. Let us examine this story to see if it really was Samuel who appeared to Saul.

It is the woman who describes Samuel to Saul. Its not like Saul saw anything. He perceived that is was Samuel from what the woman (Necromancer) said. Plus no prophet of God accepts any form of worship as Saul bowed himself with his face to the ground. Only satan wants to be worshipped like God.
It's the same thing that SDA did. with Daniel 8:14. coming from a woman!

A demon came up. It's funny how they ignore the fact that Saul blatantly disobeyed God by going to a woman with a familiar spirit..And in the end Saul died.
And it says that Saul would be with him… where????… in heaven?! Or in “hades” an evil man will end up in the same place as a prophet of God???!!! No sense at all!!!

First thing first the dead know nothing. 2. When Saul bowed down the spirit supposably Samual didn't tell Saul to get up of his knees telling him only the Lord deserves reference 3. The witch said she saw gods ascending from the earth. 4. God had left Saul's presents.

God refuses to speak to Saul by His prophets and a witch has the power to twist God’s arm and cause a prophet to speak to Saul against God’s will? Give me a break.

My thoughts is that the situation is one that can shake a lot of people. Many people can decide to leave the church and choose sides of what they believe is right. So it is a delicate situation.
I think the only Person who can fix this is Jesus. We all need to pray for each other, the church, and all people involved.

@@thatnicekid04 You are right we should pray for the church, and the people on both sides. Jesus Christ is our ultimate judge and spiritual physician. I tend to agree with Dr. Vine on pretty much everything he has said. I don’t think the answer is to leave the church and I don’t think he’s advocating for that. He mentioned simply withholding tithes from conferences that are in favor of vax mandates, lgbt affirmation, cultural marxism, abortions, and other sinful ideologies, and starting self supporting SDA “underground” congregations that uphold the truth. The ultimate hope and solution is that conferences just respect the conscience of their members and stop the government pandering and foolishness
the bible is written but not understood by most men ... prophets are men of god ... we know that the body is dead but we don't know that the soul is sleeping or alive ... and a man of god can be deceived ... example of that is 1 kings 13 ... did samuel or the familiar spirit predict saul deaf ... did it came true? ... the answer is on 1 samuel 31 ... we do not know what is the truth after we die ... if we sleep good and if we don't then what? ... why do people pay attention to thing that is not clear ... when we die we will find out ... until then search for salvation ... for many will think that they are saved until christ tell them i never knew you
We take what the Bible says. The dead know nothing according to Ecclesiastes 9:5.

But in Deut 18:10-14 and Isaiah 8:28 God clearly forbids the consultation of wizards to speak to "spirits of the dead."
Is there any salvation for those who disregard the clear "thou shall not".
Obviously no salvation for them, as what happened to Saul.
So you see, some will serve the devil thinking they are serving God.
This is a matter of salvation. Having other gods before God.

@@Bizos1609 that is true the we are forbidden to seek wizard even if the wizard tell the truth sometimes because they will lie at one point ... but that not much information to say that the soul is sleeping or alive ... for if we have the spirit of the father even if we are in the grave ... that doesn't mean that the soul is dead ... fear him that can kill the body and the soul ... if the body is dead then why does the soul need to be kill ?
