- First lets go into Great Yarmouth and have a great time in the hot weather with chips on the seafront and buying a few essentials before heading back to the campsite where Dan attempts to fix the problem we have been having on our gas cooker hob. Will he get the job done?

Dan you need to undo the 4 screws on the hob and push the gas pipes into the buttons and see if that works

Hi dan and mazzy l have that problem when l clean the hob the burners get wet have to leave it for a while enjoy great yarmouth
The white bit is the themo coupler. Check they are connected properly underneath. Cheap as chips for new ones and I could even install them and I dont even have my screw driver cert lol.

no the thermocouple is at back,, basically 2 disimilar metals that need to be in flame to generate a small current to hold electromagnet open

Hi, great vlog as always. Random question, how do you get on with your oven. We are thinking of buying a van with a tower tech similar to yours but have always been used to an oven in the kitchen cupboards. Is it an oven in the true sense of the word or just really a grill? 😀 we heat up pizzas and ready meals type things not a full roast (!), would we get on ok with it? Thanks, any advice from you or your followers would be good.
It ain't no posh house oven but it works if you leave it on long enough.

The thermal couple should be replaceable. Find the model number or manufacture of the gas range and order the parts…. On most items they are easily changeable..

Thermocouple is a safety device ,when you turn on the gas to the ring ,you are opening a valve ,when the thermocouple heats up ,it's sends a small current to the solenoid on the valve ,which acts as an electro magnet ,the small current keeping the valve open ,if the the flame goes out ,thermocouple cools down ,current drops away ,reducing magnetic field at solenoid ,valve closes shutting gas off to ring
