It’s best to use a tool and make a angled joint with silicone when it’s required as a water barrier. The tool makes a solid triangle bead with no thin edges. When you use a finger you make the join concave and the edges are really thin and the cloth wipes out all the sealant from where you really need it.

To silicone like a professional do not follow this advice, get a fugi kit, and spray bottle with hot soapy water, clean surface with acetone, apply silicone in one go, do not go back and forth, get appropriate fugi tool, spray the bead with soapy water, remove excess with fugi tool being sure to not over fill the tool with excess silicone and wipe away nessasary. The stove is by EKOL - it’s called the Apple Pie Stove (Baked Apple Combo which is the main fire plus the mini oven on top). Watch this space as it’s actually being taken out soon and for sale.
If anyone is interested in buying it - comment below.
There will be a video all about it coming out and being available for purchase in the next few weeks. I will answer as to why, when and how the fire is no longer going to be there 👍🏻💚.

@@SACREDTRAVELLER Thanks, I noticed that the flue is a bit chunky but I really liked the oven option. Is the flue a 5 inch double insulated all the way?

@@rogerrabbit6522 Yes the flue has to be 5” insulated on both lengths due to fire regs. I had a professional wood burner fitter install and supply all the equipment to make sure it was done properly 👍🏻🔥.

I thought that too, especially if it's not biodegradable soap, hence why most vans have waste tanks

Would it be ok to just drain it out on the road if it was biodegradable soap?
Probably best to do that kind of thing where people won't see.

@@vangazmicvoyage5077 Probably ok if you could prove it was biodegradable, better option is as you said, do it at night or out of sight! Last thing you need is a bill from the environmental agency for a clean up operation!

Not ok to drain on the road in any circumstance....it gives vanlifers a bad name...over grass etc where its not seen is better but ideally it wants collected and put down drain

@@BigVanSmallWorld indeed, but most products are bio now, in fact there are very few that are not, during the last drought the local Water authority were advising their customers to let the washing up water and dishwasher water go on to their land because it would do the plants the world of good.
