Glad you liked it, and my goal was achieved when both of you mentioned the “space” and then Jeremy had to relisten to the part on the left! It’s fun for the ears to explore. The harmonies always get me, and the video is pretty amazing too! ❤️🎶
OK. Everybody just stop. I don't think I've got enough time left on Earth to add yet another Internet rabbit hole of good music to check out. This really did sound kind of familiar, but not exactly. I was getting more of a Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young feel from it, but as if they were making new music now. Thanks for doing the reaction to this. Old Man Rant: I really don't get the people that say "they aren't making good music any more." I'm just drowning in it, and finding more good artists every day.
Fleet Foxes did something called "White Winter Hymnal" . It was covered by Pentatonix and there are an 'official video" and a "live version" on RUclips. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I never made a conscious connection between Fleet Fox's sound and "Death Cab for Cutie," but both are among my favorite bands, so there must be something. :-)
Lumineers are part of many bands that emerged very inspired by Fleet Foxes first album, but Robin Pecknold and Fleet Foxes were the ones who really nailed it in 2008.

Thanks again , Rebecca!!

Check out more Fleet Foxes and Big Thief
Someone suggested an incredible group. Robin Pecknold was like 20 when he wrote this. Wise beyond his years.

Reminds me of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. The solo singer has a voice similar to Neil Young.
Gives me Lumineers vibes, not any particular song, just a music vibe...and that's a good thing.

I like Fleet Foxes! I actually managed to get my headphones on for this one so I could try to hear what Jeremy does.
Turn off the video and listen!
