Alexa Scherzinger I 110% agree. I haven't done full glam makeup in a while b/c I haven't found the right products that my skin wouldn't react to, so I started working everyday on skin care. I take an hour max everyday just to take care of that part of myself and once a month on my free day, I take the whole afternoon and just work on skin, body, and mental health. And...oh my goodness, it really relaxes me. Make up or no makeup, do what makes you feel beautiful❤
I suffer from anxiety and recurring depression and a lot of self-hatred. One of the few things that have really helped me in the last few years was getting more into make-up and skin care. Taking the time every morning to pamper myself and play with my make-up, which is fun for me, has helped me to actually look at myself in a positive light. It means that I now take the time to do something positive for myself and I enjoy it. I can understand if the girls, who don't wear much makeup to begin with find Kim K's routine too long and don't enjoy it, but I find the overall feeling of this video is that a fullface is something negative, and that makes me a bit sad. Wearing makeup is only seen as something negative because people who don't wear a lot of makeup keep up the stereotype that you wear makeup 'to please someone else' or 'because you are insecure' or 'because you are superficial', instead of just being someone who enjoys doing makeup. Nothing's wrong with having a different hobby.
They definitely did not put down anyone because they wear make up on a daily just not as much as Kim does. Plus for a "natural look" it should not take up to 45mins that is crazy. If it takes a person 45 mins to do basic make up to look like all you did was put liner and mascara something wrong there.
rita vieira it's not a negative attitude it's just too much for some people. It's too much for me but anyone can do what they want as long as they're happy. People shouldnt be shamed for wearing or not wearing makeup. Personally I like minimal makeup it works for me. But for others a full face is great! It takes a lot of knowledge to be able to do a great makeup look! :)
TheBlueDetective actually what you call a face full of makeup I call loads of products which doesn't mean you caked your face up. it takes me a hour do to my makeup and hair and I will never regret the amount of time I "lost" doing it. about their attitude, yes, they started with a bad one cause they seem to hate on anything kardashian but what amazes me is that they're eager to try anything kardashian so yeah, really inconsistent
Watching people whine about putting makeup on everyday is just not entertaining, tbh. How about choosing women who actually like wearing this kind of makeup and don't act like it's some newfangled invention that they just can't wrap their heads around?
I think the point was to show how not everyone is into wearing a full face of makeup. All three women did say they thought they looked amazing on camera, but in the end weren't comfortable/ didn't have the time to do this everyday. If makeup lovers had done this video then yes, there would have been more excitement, but there would be no real conclusion to the video just women doing what they always do... At least thats my take on it!
not to mention they keep complaining about a full face of makeup like honey! makeup does so much for women like me who hav bad acne scars since i was 17! or women with cistic acne! or other dermalogical problems on their face a full face of god quality makeup is soooo valuable!
did it make anyone else a little mad when she said she feels like she has to explain to new people she meets that she doesn't actually wear that much makeup? like who cares how much someone wears, it shouldn't matter.
Brooke Woods YES!!!! Same, honestly I love the girls but I hate the attitude they had towards the challenge. A lot of people actually love doing their makeup each morning and enjoy spending the time doing it.
Over dramatic... they literally look like they're wearing foundation and eyeliner. They are acting like it takes hours of time to do what they did when it would take a normal person at most 30 minutes...
"we met at 9:30 to do our makeup and by 10:30 we'd only gotten up to foundation" It took y'all ONE WHOLE HOUR to moisturize and prime ur face? smh. wasted this video on 3 people who don't even care for makeup. wasted attempt at a video.
I felt like they mostly had bad attitudes and it was annoying to watch. I wear a full face of makeup almost everyday and I love it. It depends on the person for sure.
This is highkey bashing those who wear full faces of make up on a daily basis. They're presuming that people who do this often's self worth and confidence is based on the amount of foundation they wear. And they make no attempt to say otherwise. Super lame
Okay, her makeup( Kim's) isn't a crazy amount of makeup, it's just that these women ( although beautiful) weren't the right people for this video because they aren't used to a full face of makeup! I feel that getting a mix of people who love makeup such as Kelsey and some other people who aren't used to the makeup in the mix, we would've gotten a more well rounded results video:)
Paola garcia villalva exactly and kuwilileni kept saying she's never done anything so "glam" and that's not even a glam look, it's a natural look. More makeup doesn't equal glam
Paola garcia villalva Actually La Mer is very rich cream, it is too much for most people's skin. I live in a cold climate (*Northeast) and it congests my skin. It must be a nightmare in L.A.. Plus I do love makeup. I buy highend products especially because you need less to look good. This is enough makeup for three days and four people!
I'm sorry but they picked three clueless people to do this "experiment". Very bias. I already knew the outcome, e.g. time consuming, cakey, unnatural etc (according to buzzfeed). The black girl stated, "I'd rather dedicate my time to something I love". Should have picked girls who love makeup. Also, 45 minutes to apply moisturizer, foundation, concealer, eye liner, mascara, lipstick etc? No. This comes from someone who's 22 and steps out bare-faced everyday. I literally have no clue how to apply makeup, but when I experiment at home, it does not even take 20 minutes.
'We started at 9:30', 'I have 20 mins to do this' bla bla bla. Why don't you just wakeup at 7:00 so that you have like 1 hour to do this. It would be the right easy way do this
Don’t act like you never complain. Imagine how hard it is to literally beat yourself with makeup that you aren’t familiar with and by the end of the day, look like a cake.
They keep calling it glam and I'm sitting here with a full beat, halo eyes, fake lashes, glowing for the gods and sculpted to Jesus and I still did it in 15 minutes
Raven maaan, I was like "glam where?" watching this video. All I saw was a basic wing and some lip stick. It seemed a bit over dramatic. The only person who was near glam was Nina
Jessica didn't know how to wing her liner, u could only see the liner on kuwilileni, and Nina actually did her makeup the best, I mean U don't have to be a professional but if ur doing the challenge why r u all complaining n not doing ur makeup anything like Kim's smh
Honestly the level of exaggeration about how hard it is to do a basic beat is sort of ridiculous. 😒😒😒 I feel like I watched another video where women are just judgmental about makeup. Except maybe Nina I think she was feeling herself. Lol
They’re not overreacting, that is A LOT of make up but they just used nude shades and no bright colours so they don’t look that different on camera, maybe in real life, you can tell the difference (no visible pores, the texture of their skin) But overall, not much difference on camera
Love that they complain about getting 900 dollars worth of makeup and don't sound excited in the slightest to even try the routine. They don't have open minds in this video tbh. Disappointed. I understand it's a lot of steps but if you don't like makeup that much then why do a video where you do makeup every day.
It’s a ton of steps. Smh,they aren’t familiar with that type of routine. They chose people who don’t really enjoy makeup, and they were giving their honest opinion.
Max Hellsing no, it’s not. It’s fun to change your face for yourself. It can give you a boost of confidence. As long as you are ok with your face already and only put it on for yourself and your self esteem not for impressing others, it’s perfectly acceptable to wear it.
how is it "a kim k thing" to wear a full face of make up...? wow you wear foundation, concealer, eyebrows and a little eye make up only kim k does this???
Yes and I hate how they acted like Kim invented wearing liquid highlighter under foundation or mixed with the foundation like.... girl... this women know nothing about makeup!
charlotte marie I mean it's more about the exact routine that she uses and the little tricks that have been adapted for her own skin. None of these women have the exact same skin and that's okay. It's not really the process that's invented by Kim but more the way that she does it
okay buzzfeed, constructive criticism comment is about to happen. These girls are all stunning, and one has been using the SAME makeup routine for years (7th grade she said, I may be wrong) In today's society makeup is one of the biggest industries and is primarily used by well teenagers. These ladies are beautiful but they obviously have very set makeup routines. Why not hire or have people go through with the video that have a passion for makeup or even like to switch it up from time to time? Or maybe keep a person such as these ladies but put a makeup addict in as well? There are MANY talented people out there who would love an opportunity to try out $900 dollars worth of makeup, yet the people in this video approached it in a pessimistic way. I understand where they are coming from because they do have such set routines, but there are people ON YOUR CREW who can do beautiful works of art on their faces in under an hour! Also a lot of modern day people wear a full face of makeup, sometimes thicker than these looks, just to the grocery store. Wearing a full face of makeup to Disneyland is minor. Girl we have people swimming in Full coverage foundations. Lastly, there were many "on trend" products shown. These ladies had no clue what some of them were! Again, this is perfectly fine!!! They have a set routine which they feel beautiful in which is what makeup is all about: trying new things and having a look that is yours and you love. Just my thoughts, thanks for reading if you did :)
I commented this on another person who does not understand the meaning of a try video, but I'll tell you as well. Why would you have people who use these products all the time and/or have make up routines like Kim's try her routine? They do it every day. There is literally no point in having people try something they use or do all the time. It's like making a video of a chef trying to cook. See how silly that sounds? Because it is. So, they picked people who do not use a lot of make up because they wanted them to try a new routine. If you want a video of people who wear a full face of make up every day, go watch literally every other beauty video on the internet.
basically they said that the people in the video weren't that committed to makeup which made their reviews on the Kim K routine pessimistic and that BuzzFeed should have thrown in some people who actually love putting time and effort into their makeup and give them the opportunity to test out 900$ worth of product.
as a 17 years old who's been doing full glam since 15 (im not even talkin about kk level, im talking ab nikkie tutorials level) everyday (yea i usually spend 2hs on it but i love it) this is so weird for me to watch lmao i mean there really are ppl who are not used to it. (*notice* i said i love doing it, it relaxes me)
씨 same here, I've been doing makeup since 7th or 8th grade, and I'm in 10th now, but I've improved a lot since then and gotten better tools and products and know better techniques and I honestly love spending an hour a day making myself look awesome and experimenting with color and wearing highlight that reflects the full power of the sun and I just love doing it and seeing the end result and I hate that they're basically shaming people that love doing a full face. And also their makeup isn't "glam" it's just a little more concealer and god forbid contour and stupid expensive products come on
vivimivi me too. I don't know if I'd need as much if I used one good expensive one though, all three of mine are drugstore and are about $3 each. any recommendations?
"American women found that on average, they use $8 worth of beauty products on their face" that barely buys 1 drugstore product lol let alone any moisturizers, eye creams etc
1. I feel like they should have had girls who enjoy and are used to doing a full face of make up do this challenge. 2. This video made me feel bad for wearing my full face of makeup. I enjoy spending that time in the morning and I don't think I need to feel guilty. 3. Just because I have 30-40 minute makeup routine each morning does not mean I don't have any other interests in life.
Lindsay Keysar Exactly. They made it look like it's a bad thing to have a full face of makeup. I love wearing a full face and I'll never apologize for it.
100% agree! Watching a video full of people complaining and mocking people who wear a full face of makeup daily made me feel really bad about myself, I really look forwards to spending my time doing my makeup every morning and it makes me really happy when I wear it.
This doesnt look like kim.k makeup. First off kim is not a matte lip girl she prefers a moisturizing satin lip. And kim i dont see signature eyeliner. Her liner is more subtle with neutral to smokey eyes.
M H I mean you see Kim K's face all over the place, even by just googling recent pics you could easily notice that their makeup had nothing to do with hers. Even in the small clips inserted in the vid you could see that
y'all, that one girl who had to defend herself for saying she takes 30 minutes... i take a good 45-1hr on my face and i rly enjoy it !! its like a little therapy session; me time. idk why i feel bad now for taking longer tho
Why do I feel like they are shaming wearing a full face of makeup? I wear full face almost everyday because I love to do it and struggle with acne that I prefer to cover up (I do go out without makeup too tho)
Zoe King R Don't! I personally don't wear much makeup...a mineral powder, some bronze colored eyeshadows, brown eyeliner, and lipstick...but I really enjoy seeing women who do take the time to create a lovely look! When I see someone with a full face of makeup that's well done, it just shows creativity to me. It might not be something I'd ever wear, but it's nice seeing it on others. So don't feel bad about it, and rock that look! Sometimes beautiful looks inspire me to spend an extra few minutes on my own makeup in order try something new or throw on that cat eye.
Zoe King R Not trying to be rude I don't feel like they are shaming people who do I just think that they prefer not to wear a full face of makeup ☺️💄. There is nothing wrong with wearing a full face of makeup though because that is what some people love to do and that is perfectly okay.☺️💄
Friendly reminder that if you dont wear as much makeup as someone else, it doesn't make you any better or worse than them !!!! Don't make others feel below you for enjoying a full face of makeup on the daily if that's what they like
"girl power girl power girl power - but also if you work and wear a full face of make up, why are you spending so much time on yourself when you could be working for other people?"
Clarice de Vasconcelos I Know right 😂 Buzzfeed are hypocritical sometimes. Imo it's so relaxing to spend time doing your makeup, get a tea, play music, just time to be still and not have to stress about stuff ~ 💕
katla lamba I think you might have misunderstood what she was attempting to say; she might have just been trying to say it's a false message because she usually doesn't care or try that much. lol don't be so sensitive girl :)
Jennifer Venkat uhhhh people have differing opinions and no one should be unkind but I don't think that's the point of what she said. If you feel shamed or blow it up for no reason, that's your bad lol
Jennifer Venkat exactly. It's so stupid that people still say that everyone looks better without makeup because they look too "fake" and stuff. It's ridiculous. Makeup is fun and I love being creative with it! I also feel more confident and awesome when I wear it, so anyone who hates it is just rude lmao.
Y'all were so triggered by this makeup routine... how many girls would be gaga if they were given almost $1000 in free makeup and skincare... I do a pretty comparable routine and I do it in 30mins or less... I get that people have different makeup interests and styles, but the bad attitude they went into it with was kinda sad, and the judgy way of looking at it as if girls who wear makeup like this every day do it because they feel like they have to or because we feel bad about ourselves... like no, leave that fake feminism at the door please... I do my makeup to make ME happy, not for anyone else... I don't judge people for not wearing my level of makeup, please don't judge me or make assumptions about me for how I wear mine
I wear this much makeup every day, and I don't like how they talk so negatively about it as if only super models wear this much makeup. And the longer you wear this makeup, the faster the makeup routine goes by. I do all this in 20 minutes every day. I wish they wouldn't talk down so much to people who wear this makeup daily.
Alliex right? One of the girls was like "oh I had to tell people that I usually don't wear this much makeup so that they didn't think wrong of me" like I HAVE TO TELL PEOPLE I DONT WEAR THIS MUCH MAKEUP GOD FORBID PEOPLE THINK THAT OF ME, SUCH A HORRIBLE THING
A lot of Buzzfeed employees already expressed dislike for the Kardashians/Kardashian fad yet they choose to make a lot of videos about the Kardashians. How ironic.
Jeannie H in the end of the day Buzzfeed is a company and they are employees, Kardashian/Jenner is a buzzword, more attention means more money. Using their names doesn't mean they like them.
Ok first of this wasn't glam or Kim k like at all secondly boldly chose the wrong people to do this task because all of those girls aren't really into makeup they should've gotten people who are into Kim and like doing makeup thirdly they keep on talking about the negative things and how they feel like they have to say I don't really wear this much makeup this was hardly any they should've done the whole glam like Kylie and Kim mixed together
Buzzfeed people dramatize everything anyway, but makeup related videos are probably their worse, why put people who don't really like makeup doing these videos when they have a lot of workers that love makeup and could do it quicker and without drama lol
Kuwilileni is kind of annoying. Just because you put in makeup doesn't mean you change as a whole person. You're just accentuating your features, it doesn't mean you're a whole new person. She's so over dramatic about everything.
She's def pretentious in every video,...then again, that could just be how she lives life. I didn't understand how she felt like she was sending a false msg about herself by wearing it 1 day then was "devoted" more of her "time to and power to"...WHAT?!
BigHair Beauty Really? I don't think so tbh. They're obviously not used to wearing and applying this much make-up so they're going to talk about it in detail?
yeah, it definetly takes a certain type of person to do a full beat look on the daily. like, i personally find it medatative to sit and listen to music and beat my face. Like kind of winding up the day
The Kardashians are popular and doing videos about them gets Buzzfeed a ton of views, and a ton of views = lots of money. I wouldn't say they're obsessed with the Kardashians... they're just obsessed with making lots of money, which describes every single business out there lol.
They kept calling it "glam makeup" but if I saw them on the the street or something, I would never think they were going for the glam look. The only person who was close to glam was Nina
It's makeup, at the end of the day it comes off. These ladies are so god damn dramatic about everything. Is that what they are told to do, be as dramatic as possible?
lilia :p I get some drama of being like "this is too much work" and what not but they are acting like their life is over because they had to do a little bit more complicated beauty routine then they are used to.
The backhanded comments these girls kept saying is kind of offensive. Kept saying comments that makeup is a waste of time and they don't want people seeing them with so much makeup on. Why are they so embarrassed to be seen as a woman who wears makeup?
Kristen Mullin exactly!! But god forbid someone says one negative thing to a girl with barely any makeup on "stop shaming girls for being themselves blah blah" Hypocrisy...
I feel like it's because they aren't really the best at application, whether it's because they don't understand the products or they just lack the technique, so they don't really appreciate the make up and feel embarrassed
“Who wants to spend 45 minutes doing their makeup?” Sometimes I spend like an hour and a half doing my makeup and I fully enjoy it.
Hailee Lynn that’s so true!! they make a full face seem like such a drag!! no one would/should waste time if they hate doing it!
I feel, and it’s my own way to relax in the morning
Saaame, I will take forever for a full face and have fun the entire time. Except when it comes to lashes, we don't get along lol
Boo same
I feel you girl 💖 its like a relaxing therapy of some kind to make up on 😉
spending time on yourself and making yourself feel beautiful is worth the time for me
Alexa Scherzinger 👍👍
i got that, but they also kind of put down anyone who would feel beautiful with makeup
Alexa Scherzinger I 110% agree. I haven't done full glam makeup in a while b/c I haven't found the right products that my skin wouldn't react to, so I started working everyday on skin care. They should have included someone who actually loves to do makeup
Sarah Malone that would've been a great idea
Sarah Malone They were looking at the efficiency of the routine.
Sarah Malone yeah like Kelsey or Jazzmyne
Exactly
Phillip defranco it's not the news it's a conversation
the problem isn't the makeup, the problem is that they don't know how to do it properly and already started with a negative attitude
also, one of them said you'll be late for work bcuz of the makeup...im never late for work soo...
rita vieira it's not a negative attitude it's just too much for some people. It's too much for me but anyone can do what they want as long as they're happy. Their attitude was actually pretty fair. Also, clearly they're used to more affordable, minimal makeup. Wearing $900 isn't for everybody.
the routine is honestly fine, these girls do not have the proper makeup techniques to fully achieve the routine
Watching people whine about putting makeup on everyday is just not entertaining, tbh. How about choosing women who actually like wearing this kind of makeup and don't act like it's some newfangled invention that they just can't wrap their heads around?
my thoughts exactly.

She just doesn't want to put out a false image
Brooke Woods YES!!!! Same, honestly I love the girls but I hate the attitude they had towards the challenge. A lot of people actually love doing their makeup each morning and enjoy spending the time doing it.
seriously though, I don't understand why they had to look at the whole thing in such a negative way.
Brooke Woods exactly, like..why would it be bad if they assumed that she does go beat everyday?
Over dramatic... they literally look like they're wearing foundation and eyeliner. They are acting like it takes hours of time to do what they did when it would take a normal person at most 30 minutes...
Alyssa G. Not even that lol
Alyssa G. Ikr.!
IKR!!! It's not rocket science
Alyssa G. So true
Thank you
"we met at 9:30 to do our makeup and by 10:30 we'd only gotten up to foundation" It took y'all ONE WHOLE HOUR to moisturize and prime ur face? smh. wasted this video on 3 people who don't even care for makeup. wasted attempt at a video.
EryHush The point of the video was to have people with little makeup experience attempt to do a more complicated makeup look.
EryHush ikr
EryHush legit it'd take me like 30 minutes to do all of that
EryHush exactly
I felt like they mostly had bad attitudes and it was annoying to watch. I wear a full face of makeup almost everyday and I love it. It depends on the person for sure.
I would be so excited to get $1,000 worth of makeup and put it on for work.. these women have obviously never heard of setting spray.
True
buzzfeed is so bad at makeup literally not one employee is decent
They were doing Kim Kardashians routine. Clearly Kim doesn't use it. 😂😂
Does setting spray actually work? Or is it a gimmick. I am new to makeup and normally i use skin tints
@@aura6485 yeah it does, cant imagine doing my makeup without it anymore since i started using it lol
This is highkey bashing those who wear full faces of make up on a daily basis. They're presuming that people who do this often's self worth and confidence is based on the amount of foundation they wear. And they make no attempt to say otherwise. Super lame
Abby B SO TRUE
Exactly! This whole video was so rude
AGREED
True
Abby B that’s exactly how I felt
Their make up looked very basic and not Kim K-like at all. I think you should have used girls who are actually interested in make-up!
Reya
They are doing her routine not her makeup look 🙄
Reya Agree!
Reya yesss
Amadingx Bratayley nnhjnhhh
Maybe that was the point and that they'll do it with make up lovers another time
Okay, her makeup( Kim's) isn't a crazy amount of makeup, it's just that these women ( although beautiful) weren't the right people for this video because they aren't used to a full face of makeup! Paola garcia villalva exactly and kuwilileni kept saying she's never done anything so "glam" and that's not even a glam look, it's a natural look. More makeup doesn't equal glam
Paola garcia villalva Yeah this video is for Ladylike
But that's the point, the contrast makes the content.
Paola garcia villalva Actually La Mer is very rich cream, it is too much for most people's skin. I live in a cold climate (*Northeast) and it congests my skin. It must be a nightmare in L.A.. Exactly
Does everyone at Buzzfeed have no makeup skills?
No..they literally used girls that barely wear makeup.
No jaz's makeup is great
It was Kim K's makeup routine somehow end results look nothing like Kim K's makeup lol
bloodontheleaves chim chim
Army 😍
bloodontheleaves true lol 😂😂 Hi fellow ARMY 🤗
exactly
I think I'm just gonna go back to kbeauty videos
To me they don't look that different
Cat Perez conspiracy theory
Cat Perez yea
Agreed. They hardly look like they have anything on at all.
Cat Perez I
Cat Perez Is
If you like makeup, this video is not for you. You'll just be wasting your time.
I agree I'm so irritated
glam? girl thats a natural look for me 😂
Emily ramon you are gorgeous btw 💕
Why isn't it titled I did my regular makeup routine using Kim Kardashian's suggested products
they've been given $900 of makeup and all they're doing is complaining all day
justine it’s their job to give reviews and it’s hard to spend 3 hours every day working on makeup
Don’t act like you never complain. Imagine how hard it is to literally beat yourself with makeup that you aren’t familiar with and by the end of the day, look like a cake.
justine that’s true and also they don’t like it because they don’t know how to apply it
So true! Just because they don't understand the art, doesn't mean they can be demeaning.
justine omg true
They keep calling it glam and I'm sitting here with a full beat, halo eyes, fake lashes, glowing for the gods and sculpted to Jesus and I still did it in 15 minutes
Raven not to mention youve probably done a better job than them ...
Raven maaan, I was like "glam where?" watching this video. All I saw was a basic wing and some lip stick. It seemed a bit over dramatic. The only person who was near glam was Nina
Raven yaaaas girl!!
Raven Congratulations.
Ugh same
Kim wears winged eyeliner?? And colorful lipstick???
Jessica didn't know how to wing her liner, u could only see the liner on kuwilileni, and Nina actually did her makeup the best, I mean U don't have to be a professional but if ur doing the challenge why r u all complaining n not doing ur makeup anything like Kim's smh
Honestly the level of exaggeration about how hard it is to do a basic beat is sort of ridiculous. 😒😒😒 I feel like I watched another video where women are just judgmental about makeup. Except maybe Nina I think she was feeling herself. Lol
Y'all overreacting acting like you had to do a full face of drag when you still looked the same before and after
Mags M you would be acting the same too.
Have you ever even tried this?
They’re not overreacting, that is A LOT of make up but they just used nude shades and no bright colours so they don’t look that different on camera, maybe in real life, you can tell the difference (no visible pores, the texture of their skin) But overall, not much difference on camera
Well, I was the 666th like on this 😂
Love that they complain about getting 900 dollars worth of makeup and don't sound excited in the slightest to even try the routine. They don't have open minds in this video tbh. Disappointed. I understand it's a lot of steps but if you don't like makeup that much then why do a video where you do makeup every day.
Lauren I know the comment was posted a long time ago but I would be soo excited to try it out. It was not even a lot of makeup
It’s a ton of steps. Smh,they aren’t familiar with that type of routine. They chose people who don’t really enjoy makeup, and they were giving their honest opinion.
They need to have people who know how to do makeup and actually enjoy doing it
cindyhhs I
This feels a little dramatic---it's just makeup.
why is it always negative people being used in these videos, they make makeup seem like an awful thing meant to only impress others
Max Hellsing no, it’s not. It’s fun to change your face for yourself. It can give you a boost of confidence. As long as you are ok with your face already and only put it on for yourself and your self esteem not for impressing others, it’s perfectly acceptable to wear it.
Boldly needs to calm down, it's just makeup. Don't have to be so dramatic.
Katlynn Jenner no need to be so.. bold 😂
Exactly
Stephanie Xo omg 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Is there a katlyn Jenner? Sorry I don't keep up with the kardashians if ya know what I mean haha
how is it "a kim k thing" to wear a full face of make up...? wow you wear foundation, concealer, eyebrows and a little eye make up only kim k does this???
charlotte marie I think it was supposed to be more about the specific products used and less about the actual application techniques.
Yes and I hate how they acted like Kim invented wearing liquid highlighter under foundation or mixed with the foundation like.... girl... this women know nothing about makeup!
They just followed everything she did and everything she used on her video so yes it is her routine.
Exactly
charlotte marie I mean it's more about the exact routine that she uses and the little tricks that have been adapted for her own skin. None of these women have the exact same skin and that's okay. It's not really the process that's invented by Kim but more the way that she does it
They're so over dramatic that's like 1% of what I wear
mimi jfc how much do you use
mimi it's not really , they barely wear makeup in the first place lol
okay buzzfeed, constructive criticism comment is about to happen.
If you want a video of people who wear a full face of make up every day, go watch literally every other beauty video on the internet.
i didn't even bother reading through all that.. LAZY AF
basically they said that the people in the video weren't that committed to makeup which made their reviews on the Kim K routine pessimistic and that BuzzFeed should have thrown in some people who actually love putting time and effort into their makeup and give them the opportunity to test out 900$ worth of product.
$900 of makeup isn’t that much tbh
Kenzie Lynn you’re welcome :) but it would be a boring video if they did have girls that did their makeup like Kim does
You should get someone who is into make-up and have some skills for this video
This is so annoying to watch as a makeup addictive 😂
Yes right???
Amna Ali right😭
I knowwww
All I saw was uneven winged eyeliner and I thought I was gonna scream.
momma jadeu momma jin
momma jadeu KIM SEOKJIN
Oh man, you would hate me.
Kayleigh L noooo don’t say that
lmao i died when i read this
as a 17 years old who's been doing full glam since 15 (im not even talkin about kk level, im talking ab nikkie tutorials level) everyday (yea i usually spend 2hs on it but i love it) this is so weird for me to watch lmao i mean there really are ppl who are not used to it. (*notice* i said i love doing it, it relaxes me)
씨 Same but I'm 15 I started at 13 ....it's kinda like they never go into these videos with an open mind about actually doing it right
씨 same here, I've been doing makeup since 7th or 8th grade, and I'm in 10th now, but I've improved a lot since then and gotten better tools and products and know better techniques and I honestly love spending an hour a day making myself look awesome and experimenting with color and wearing highlight that reflects the full power of the sun and I just love doing it and seeing the end result and I hate that they're basically shaming people that love doing a full face. And also their makeup isn't "glam" it's just a little more concealer and god forbid contour and stupid expensive products come on
Rose The Flautist don't you love when you walk outside for the first time after doing your makeup and the sun hits your glow
Julianna Huertas it's amazing
Same hun,it's just a huge confidence booster.
Over 12 minutes of saying the same thing over and over again...
jessica pisses me tf off
simplysofia same
simplysofia I’m just confused from her eyebrows they’re lines
XxbebaxX X ik me too I just wanna take a eyebrow pencil and fix it
SAME
Who's Jessica
Can we redo this video with women who actually know how to do makeup.
Veronica Reed PLSSSSS
That's bratty
nina's good at makeup
+Veronica Reed well that's not very nice, not everybody is good at makeup, and I'm sure they a better now since it's almost December.
😂
This is basic af not even close to glam
Llovesmakeup21 agreed
I feel like I would end the week with my face covered in acne
Liv Walters I would be covered in acne too.
Me too
Same
I mean same but if you don't have sensitive skin, removing it all at the end of the day would prevent that
why? if you take proper care of your skin and cleanse and tone at the end of the day, makeup doesnt actually cause that.
I use 3 different mascaras... *FIGHT ME!!!*
vivimivi me too. I don't know if I'd need as much if I used one good expensive one though, all three of mine are drugstore and are about $3 each. any recommendations?
Elena is uncomfortable the Laura Geller one is really good, and so is Bug Fatty from Urban Decay
Elena is uncomfortable roller lash
Elena omg sameeeeeeeeel
Elena either the Lash Laradise by L'oreal or the Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Volum' Express.
"American women found that on average, they use $8 worth of beauty products on their face" that barely buys 1 drugstore product lol let alone any moisturizers, eye creams etc
$8 on a whole face? you can’t even buy a drugstore foundation for that😂 where do they get their facts
That “fact” is likely fake or they only asked women who wore mascara
Lindsay Keysar honestly, though
Lindsay Keysar agreeeddd!!!
Lindsay Keysar Agreed
Ikr? When Jessica complained about how hard winged liner is I was like "bich where do you see winged liner?"
The fact that you say this as if you know her is a little unsettling. You're so invested in someone who you don't (assumably) even know.
M H I mean you see Kim K's face all over the place, even by just googling recent pics you could easily notice that their makeup had nothing to do with hers. Even in the small clips inserted in the vid you could see that
But I agree that this person is a little too invested in Kim K
or maybe this person watches kim's makeup snaps?
They really can't do makeup and they can't properly test this 😩 they look the exact same with their old makeup routines and their new ones 😂
Sarah K or the makeup isn't anything
Sarah K
It’s a makeup routine not a look 💀💀
Sarah K ikr
Amadingx Bratayleyx
.lx
Madison Pine well damn
Literally I use just as much and it’s no fuss for me!!
Lucinda K Because they don’t wear that much makeup? Routines are different for all people
Same name boo
+Lucinda K probably because you're a pro and they aren't.
Lucinda Doyle haha awesome xo
Jαdε_MCPE17 XD ❨Lεαδεr Of Wαrrισr Cατs❩ haha thanks x
y'all, that one girl who had to defend herself for saying she takes 30 minutes... i take a good 45-1hr on my face and i rly enjoy it !! its like a little therapy session; me time. idk why i feel bad now for taking longer tho
they complain so much lmao it's not
that big of a deal
omg someone agrees
Laura Michelle yesssss fr it's not even a big deal
They should have let the makeup addicts do this
I will not make the that 667 likes
Yup
Why do I feel like they are shaming wearing a full face of makeup? I wear full face almost everyday because I love to do it and struggle with acne that I prefer to cover up (I do go out without makeup too tho)
Especially 4:10 to 4:29....that was just rude and cold.
girls generation i know! It makes me feel insecure about wearing makeup now 🙃
Zoe King R Don't!
Dandi Ré omg you're so sweet ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Zoe King R Not trying to be rude I don't feel like they are shaming people who do I just think that they prefer not to wear a full face of makeup ☺️💄. There is nothing wrong with wearing a full face of makeup though because that is what some people love to do and that is perfectly okay.☺️💄
Low key jealous if they get to keep all the makeup after the video lol
“Kim uses two kinds of mascara, which is ridiculous”
Me : I use 4😬😳😂....
Sianna jasmine same.😂😂
Right?! Who uses only one?
Girl same
It's just Lainey not if done the right way
Literally I use 4 kinds plus a base
Why pick 3 girls that can barely even apply makeup?
I know right
Friendly reminder that if you dont wear as much makeup as someone else, it doesn't make you any better or worse than them !!!! Don't make others feel below you for enjoying a full face of makeup on the daily if that's what they like
Carmen
this comment was well needed
No one cares stfu
Carmen LANA
exactly, thank you :)
Clarice de Vasconcelos This needs more likes 👏👏👏
👏🏽👏🏽
Or be all over your phone .. that's what I'm sure they'll be doing w all that extra time
"Sending a false message about myself"
.....girl.....
katla lamba I think you might have misunderstood what she was attempting to say; she might have just been trying to say it's a false message because she usually doesn't care or try that much. lol don't be so sensitive girl :)
No some of us actually love and care about makeup so much that we hate newbies like you dissing us for loving it.
I also feel more confident and awesome when I wear it, so anyone who hates it is just rude lmao.
katla lamba YEAH THATS ANNOYING AF
Of course you are not gonna get the same results by using just the same products, it's all about technique.
"I usually only use one makeup remover to take off my makeup. Today I used two!"
*gasps*
Oh god, you poor poor over dramatic woman!
You poor white woman
Yeah, because her skin color definitely matters and has so much to do with it.
I wear this much makeup every day, and I don't like how they talk so negatively about it as if only super models wear this much makeup. And the longer you wear this makeup, the faster the makeup routine goes by. I do all this in 20 minutes every day. I wish they wouldn't talk down so much to people who wear this makeup daily.
i know right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so frustrated...
Ana Araújo I KNOW!!! she was acting as if it was something to be ashamed of, like okay lol
Alliex it's funny because buzzfeed is always talking about how we shouldn't shame women yet they let this shaming slide 😂
How ToMake i totally agree!
9:03 Oh honey you're going to rip off all your lashes... Curl them BEFORE you but mascara on!
BeautyGirlBree why does it matter
L because the mascara makes your lashes stick to the curler and can rip your lashes out?
BeautyGirlBree Yes! That part made me cringe a lot. I still don’t think that they all wore a full face of makeup.
*Bro how do bake and then realize you forgot foundation?*
why do they all complain so much holy
A lot of Buzzfeed employees already expressed dislike for the Kardashians/Kardashian fad yet they choose to make a lot of videos about the Kardashians. How ironic.
Jeannie H well, they are employees, so they don't make the decisions.
Right but their videos are getting too repetitive...they were mpre original before.
PREACH
I suspect it's because they get more views
Jeannie H in the end of the day Buzzfeed is a company and they are employees, Kardashian/Jenner is a buzzword, more attention means more money. Using their names doesn't mean they like them.
You know what's a waste of my time? Watching this video!
Who's watching with a full face of makeup? Lol
Ana Rizo meeee 🙋🏼♀️
Ok first of this wasn't glam or Kim k like at all secondly boldly chose the wrong people to do this task because all of those girls aren't really into makeup they should've gotten people who are into Kim and like doing makeup thirdly they keep on talking about the negative things and how they feel like they have to say I don't really wear this much makeup this was hardly any they should've done the whole glam like Kylie and Kim mixed together
jessica hardly even tried she just kept saying oh i wont or cant do it today
4:19 whoop, tyler in the background
This is so overly dramatic like damn it's just makeup it's not that deep
Buzzfeed people dramatize everything anyway, but makeup related videos are probably their worse, why put people who don't really like makeup doing these videos when they have a lot of workers that love makeup and could do it quicker and without drama lol
Ikr and like an hour a day is crazy. It's rly not some people do it every day before work. Not cause they have to cause they want to.
it's an experiment, I guess, and the workers who to this want to participate
Idfk stop complaining about your shortcomings XD
Idfk that's buzzfeed for you
I feel like Nina was the only one that got it the closest but everyone is beautiful!!
Do they have y'all on payroll or something. How many more of these "we tried Kardashian/Jenner makeup" videos are y'all gonna make?😩
The answer to your first question is yes, undoubtedly yes. Celebrities don't stay 'relevant' by chance.
I mean, you clicked on the video and paid them money by doing that.
no they just know that any video about the kardashians gets them views, = $$$
Olivia B yessss like can they CTFU already
The try guys and Tyler at 4:19 amuse me
Kuwilileni has such a soul that emanates its beauty in such a soft light it makes my heart feel free
Kuwilileni is kind of annoying. Just because you put in makeup doesn't mean you change as a whole person. You're just accentuating your features, it doesn't mean you're a whole new person. She's so over dramatic about everything.
To Be... Yea, she annoyed me the most.
She's def pretentious in every video,...then again, that could just be how she lives life.
I didn't understand how she felt like she was sending a false msg about herself by wearing it 1 day then was "devoted" more of her "time to and power to"...WHAT?!
the girl with the loooong head annoyed me
Look at her pits at 7:25..gross!!
she's dramatic in every video, glad someone said it tho
Y'all ever disliked some one for no reason? Yeah this how I'm feeling about them in the video. Oh god help me
Why?
Emily well to me they just don't have charisma. They're just blah to me. If you like them that's cool.
That just sounds like they're not as overly obnoxious as some people at Buzzfeed. But you do you man.
Emily i think they are obnoxious. Really dramatic
BigHair Beauty Really? I don't think so tbh. They're obviously not used to wearing and applying this much make-up so they're going to talk about it in detail?
She's like 2 mascaras is crazy but like I use 5. My makeup takes 45 minutes to do my makeup. It's not that big of a deal.
Liberty Carter Your makeup does itself? Where can I get such a wonderful thing?
None of ur Thank you, fellow Internet user. It's very dear to me.
None of ur nice picture lmao the winchesters back at it again
I always use at least 2 mascaras
5 ?? That's gross maybe 3max
Jessica, you may not have Kim’s makeup down but you definitely have her voice 😂
the first day LIPSTICK ON JESSICA WAS GORGEOUS!! 💓
yeah, it definetly takes a certain type of person to do a full beat look on the daily. like, i personally find it medatative to sit and listen to music and beat my face. Like kind of winding up the day
I don't get Buzzfeed's Kardashian obsession
Pamela Rivero it's a media obsession.... so when they do their statistic magic they see trending topics
Same with periods
People watch the videos= $$$$
The Kardashians are popular and doing videos about them gets Buzzfeed a ton of views, and a ton of views = lots of money. I wouldn't say they're obsessed with the Kardashians... they're just obsessed with making lots of money, which describes every single business out there lol.
Pamela Rivero it's annoying
tbh, i don't really see a difference.
Jessica looks/sounds like deaf Taylor swift from Scream Queens
You met at 9:30 but it took you an hour to just get to foundation??
They kept calling it "glam makeup" but if I saw them on the the street or something, I would never think they were going for the glam look. The only person who was close to glam was Nina
Anastasia Cvijic seriously what I was thinking👌🏼
If anything I would be happy to try all those high end products for free.
Kuwilileni's voice is hypnotic. I love it.
I don't like Jessica
Ugh this video made me cringe....and if you used a setting spray, it wouldn't run down your face
It's makeup, at the end of the day it comes off. These ladies are so god damn dramatic about everything. Is that what they are told to do, be as dramatic as possible?
Bleach Bum pretty much yeah they have to make the videos 'interesting'
lilia :p I get some drama of being like "this is too much work" and what not but they are acting like their life is over because they had to do a little bit more complicated beauty routine then they are used to.
Bleach Bum yeah. Buzz feed tells them too but frankly, it's annoying
Obviously BuzzFeed isn't sponsored by the Kardashians.
Nina looked amazing with it. She did an amazing job😍😍
This video just irked me. Like every minute that went by.
Jessica just needs to calm down 😂
Peep at Saf's boyfriend in the background 😂
The backhanded comments these girls kept saying is kind of offensive. Kept saying comments that makeup is a waste of time and they don't want people seeing them with so much makeup on. Why are they so embarrassed to be seen as a woman who wears makeup?
Kristen Mullin right? And the one that said that just because you wear a fullface you don't have other interests besides makeup lol
I don't like women who use a lot of makeup and would say most guys agree with me
Justin Myers no one really cares about what guys like. I don't do my make up to please men.
the world may still hate her, but she is sooo beautiful... not even saying that facial surgery changed her that much
Kuwilileni seems so cool, I wanna go get coffee with her
"I've been working on the makeup farm all the live long day." for some reason i cant get that out of my head😂
