  • Vibrant Lawns 2024 Lawn Mowing Business. In this video I explain how I use my Stihl String Trimmer to Edge the Lawn. How to Edge and How to Trim with trimmer / weedeater. This is mainly for edging sidewalks, driveways and any hard surface but, you can also edge landscape beds using the same methods. This shows HOW TO use a string trimmer weed eater / weedeater to Edge the sidewalk and driveway. I have owned a lawn care business for awhile and I am showing how I edge lawns. Also, I was using a Stihl FS 111 RX with .095 Trimmer String. I also show how to reload trimmer weedeater weed eater string in my Stihl Trimmer.     Your information was correct for the most part except for walking on the grass. Walking backwards on the concrete is by far a better way to do it. It’s safer and you can see the edge of the concrete quite a bit better. it’s almost like your line gets in the groove and almost anchors you as you’re walking backwards on the concrete

    Thanks for these videos! How is the competition in kansas? I am in Fort worth texas and now that ive started i see so many people with mowers driving around. I guess there is enough for everyone though.

      I haven't noticed too much but we are in a growing area with new housing over the last 20 years and I'm also a big believer in my work. If I lose a customer to someone who is cheaper or someone that doesn't like my work, then I respect that. You got to stay true to who you are and also improve as much as you can along the way.
