This is the Superbike BR layout in our beautiful circuit even we barely host any Moto Race since the last horrific accident back in 2020 where we lost an young driver. 😢

I think this chicane was built back in 2011 after a series of major incidents in the local BR stock series, unfortunately with one death. The cars back then did not have enough downforce to do the curvy last sector with the power they had. The problem is that when a car slips and touch the outside wall they can return to the track spinning and get T-boned. Nowadays this layout is barely used.
Another great watch.. and the slower cars definitely produce better and more fun racing. It's why I've stuck to the Mazda MX5 since my return after a year away. Such a fun car to drive. And great to race wheel to wheel with
How do you find the force feedback in the wet? I’m really struggling with driving in the wet conditions as I seem to lose all the FFB strength, so can’t feel what the car is doing. Wondering if it’s settings or the way the game is.
How do you skip to the next incident at the end of the race? I assume you click on "Focus On Crashes" on the replay but cant figure out how to skip, just shows the whole race?
Dave, have you done any videos where you compare your old Fanatec wheelbase against the Asetek you're using now? I'm quite unsatisfied with my DD Pro and am considering a switch. Cheers!

Hello Dave, good racing, really enjoyed that one. Did you use the fixed setup with wet tyres? I tried practising there in a really wet session and couldn't get anywhere near yours or anyone else's times. I am being as smooth as I can with the controls, however when I try to use anything near your throttle and brake responses I just lose control. I feel like I am tip toeing around. Is there a knack to this that I am missing out on ?
Yes this was a fixed setup with wets. This session may have not been as wet as the ones you've been in. When you're not on the conventional rubbered line there is quite a bit of grip. You've just got to be smooth with the transitions over the rubber 👍
Is now every race where rain is suspected to be rain? It gets boring. I though iRacing had a weather system with variable weather......? No..... it seems..... But nonetheless Dave, great racing video again. I´m going to get my next GT4 race in at Road Atlanta :D
@davecamm oh ok clever did not think of that. Maybe racelabs can do something in an update where you can flip the overlay from vertical to horizontal vice versa. Cheers
I think good racing needs to also be combined with a car that's fun to drive and for me, Toyotas and Mazdas just aren't. For me sweet spot is in gt4 and gt3, agile enough to be exciting to drive, not as fast as some higher classes as to make it about twitch reflexes.

By default it's Ctrl numpad 1 & 3, but you can map buttons in the options 😁
