    About the engine howl it happens because of the intake of the engines. It happens on the newer P&W engines. They’re on the a320 neo family, The E2 E-jets, and the a220. Some choose the CFM leap for the engine but I LOVE the engine howl so. The noise happens during engine startup, throttling up, and reverse thrusting.

      Agree,,, I cringe when I see channels like this with sub 100k subscribers when several plane spotting channels are well into 100k subscribers, buuuuut keep in mind the majority of those subscribers are really more into the brain dead chatting, the social media “moderating” that gives some this feeling authority within these chat streams and groupies within the plane spotting chat streams. Ya it’s weird. As a kinda newbie to aviation I seek channels like this and really enjoy its content. Sorry kinda for the rant,,, but felt I had to mention.
      I certainly appreciate and recognize the effort put into content like this. 👍🏻

    Just flew breeze from Raleigh to Providence last night for the first time. As a big guy I am glad it was a short flight not that comfortable. I was in the back row 18. I did love hearing those Pratt & Whitney’s spool up. Staff was super friendly even the pilot was talkative when boarding. If I have to do a longer flight on breeze, I would try to get the first class seating.

    They used to have all of the missing letters for the terminals but they tore one down to rebuild a couple years ago and the terminal between A and C has been a baggage/ operations building for years! Im pretty sure at the end of the renovation the terminal letters will make sense again.
    Edit: I always thought Airside C was exclusively southwest 🤔 i had no idea they had to share lol

    How do Breeze's seats compare to the new seats in Southwest's planes? I found those to be pretty uncomfortable too on longer flights.

    I'm a fan of the 220, having flown on delta's & JetBlue's version. I hope I'll be able to try air France, air Canada and swiss. If i try breeze, I'd go for their ascent seats. Though I doubt i would do it on a transcon.

    Haven’t flown breeze, but I’ve taken a few flights on the other new LCC, Avelo Airlines. They use ex-Southwest 737-700s, and although I believe they crammed a few more seats in, it’s still probably more comfortable than breeze.

    Breeze seems to have odd routes. Similar to Allegiant where they tend to hit smaller airports or hubs in major cities. Clearwater opposed to Tampa. Midway vs ORD for SWA in Chicago etc..

  • @tpajay
    @tpajay 5 месяцев назад

    The baggage fees you talk about are misleading. I have flown Breeze (MX) 5 times. The routes & equipment I flew are: CAK-LAS (A220 R/T in Nicest) ; CAK-MCO (A220 one way Nicest); and CAK-PBI (E195 R/T in Nicer). The only section that pays for checked baggage & advance seat assignments are in the Nice section. If you're in the Nicer section, along with 3" more legroom, you get advance seat assignment & 1 checked bag free; In Nicest (now called Ascent F/C), you get advance seat assignment, 2 free checked bags, snacks, & alcohol. No matter which section you're in, bottled water, coffee, & tea are free. The Ascent seats were very comfortable & the Nicer seat on the E195 was fine for my 2hr. 20min. flights. I can't speak for the Nice seats comfort on the A220. I've never flown Spirit, Frontier (accept for the pre-1986 Frontier), or any other ULCC but I've heard their seats are more uncomfortable than Breeze. The fares have been very reasonable too.
