Breeze are a breath of fresh air! I flew from Orlando to Provo, Utah via Santa Ana in California on a "Breeze Thru" connecting flight, which aims to maximise aircraft use and provide guaranteed connections. So, what's it actually like? It was half the price of Delta first class for almost the same route (Delta fly to SLC, 50 miles to the north). So, what's it like? The result surprised me!

Did a round trip on Breeze first class and it was a nice trip. No wifi and no meal service but knew about it beforehand and brought food and don’t care nor want to pay for wifi.
United and Delta first class had nice meals but not worth the price difference.
Flight attendant in trip out was incredible and super attentive to passengers.
Flight back back all the flight attendants kept gathering in front to talk to each other and hid around corner so you had to get up to get their attention. Friendly staff and will fly again

I flew this transcon to LAX, and I was honestly impressed. Would prefer to layover, but nice to have this as an option. My only real complaint, strange one I know, is that they did not come around to take the trash enough. That A220 on the other hand is truly something special. Could not believe how big the windows were, and how QUIET it was.

I guess they've resolved their operations issues. I almost got stranded in Hartford because they delayed, delayed, delayed, and then cancelled their Hartford to Charleston flight. Luckily, the travel boards had alerted that Breeze would do that to some flights.

What a beautiful day to fly! Breeze flies out of New Orleans, so I definitely will consider. The food in airports is ridiculously pricey. Last week at LHR, I couldn't have a drink and small meal for $20.00. Geez. Great video!

Conceptually, Breeze Ascent is very similar to Porter Reserve on Porter Airlines. The difference is that since Porter uses E2-195, Porter Reserve seats would have the same 2+2 configuration as the normal "economy" seats, thus they are not wider, like what you have in Breeze Ascent. However, Porter Reserve includes a proper cold meal.

I Flew Breeze last year from Tampa to Charleston, SC, and back. Breeze gate agents were extremely rude in Tampa but extremely friendly in Charleston, along with a very friendly flight crew. I Flew economy up which was just Nicest. For that short of a flight, the onboard service was fine. However, several of the Ascent seats including mine had broken parts and my back started getting hurt on the way up in economy I just flew 8 hours in Delta economy and my back did not hurt. Got some good Instagram moments on the flight back as a lady boarded the plane with a large Chucky doll (it was just a couple of days before Halloween).

Great video Paul! I especially love seeing Breeze’s CLASSY AND SHOCKINGLY UNIQUE Livery especially on their A220 fleet! 😊
Also, I see you visited from Orlando Airport, as a longtime OG subscriber of yours, I know you have visited MCO quite a few times now with Frontier Airlines, Delta and JetBlue I believe also, even though the terminal building is outdated and really needs renovation, I still like that classic from the 1980s an early 90s. 😂 Finally the seat on Breeze’s A220-300 looks absolutely amazing, especially for a domestic US airline except for no hot food 🥘 that seems a bit of a loss to me. However, as much as I would like to try Breeze a lot of the roots they fly are mostly for leisure and they are still a pretty niche carrier Sadly, I don’t think I would go out of my way to fly. 😢🎉
Great video anyway! Maybe if Breeze adds a service from somewhere in Michigan where I live, such as Lansing maybe then I’ll give them a try! Also at 3:11 I get flashbacks to your previous trip with Delta on their A350 from Atlanta to LAX in Delta One Suite but only “First Class” on a domestic DL Flight in the whole buying food to eat on the plane while in First Class of all things! Remember that what a horrible experience and I’m afraid you’ve managed to repeat again! 😂😂😮
    Cheers 🥂 mate!

It's not just airline food prices that went up after Covid. They've always been high. Everything outside of the airport has gone up by 50% or more in some cases because of overall inflation. Gas prices where I live were $1.85/gallon in 2019 and are now over $3.20/gallon. Some other parts of the country have gas prices nearing $6.00/gallon.

Great video! I've wondered what their cabin and service is like, from the looks of it both are excellent. The A220 is such a great choice for Breeze and their Interior is really nice. So Breeze flies nonstop from Orange County to Orange County. (MCO is in Orange County, Fla). BTW, and inexpensive option for food at an expensive airport is to look for a restaurant or shop that sells bananas, they are about the only food they have less than $10.99. I ususally bring Protien Bars in my carry on as well.

I'm glad you had a good experience on Breeze. I flew them last year and it was a disaster. Breeze lost my suitcase (their agent put the wrong tag on my suitcase) and since they do not have customer service, it took over a week to get my suitcase back. Be warned, Breeze has no 1-800 number nor a customer service desk, the only way to reach them is through Facebook Messenger (I kid you not). After them loosing my suitcase, having me go to the airport four different times to find out the suitcase was not the flight it was supposed to be on, I go on either Delta or Avelo. I'd rather pay more to have help when I need it.

Among us Americans, Provo is best known as the home of Brigham Young University. BYU is the Mormon Church's huge institute of higher education.

I love that you mix it up with your content and that I never know what to expect next. Great video as always 😊

Breeze seem to have stopped flying flight MX 603 all the way from Orlando. It is only SNA-PVU now.

They should offer some sort of meal service/buy onboard service. The flight length with no food doesn't feel right.

I just like to ask please don’t put your drinks in the seat back pocket ( it can make a big mess)
That’s why you get all the cup holders

I love your videos Paul, but I think you should consider some different music background in the future. 😊 This is like Transport Tycoon music. 🤷🏻‍♂️😊

Unfortunately Breeze have suspended this route until 2024. SNA have told the airlines to reduce capacity until next year.
I was going to do this same route in reverse, but when I went to book it..........every thing is blacked out until February.

Breeze is considering taking these A220 to Europe so they will need to start doing something about meals.

I think a lot of airports have always been quite expensive in America, even pre covid. Specifically JFK and Newark for me

I love the livery. Anything that isn't a "Eurowhite" livery looks good to me. 👍👌
