It is not as easy as it looks. Turkish just had the great earthquake last year, they had economic issues and rising inflation. Even the Turkish have issues, now the Syrians in their country.
You have no idea how things works on the middle East. And I'm not even including a western influence here. Diplomacy is very fragile. One day you fight for the red the next day green knocking on your door demanding you to unite and fighting for the yellow. So on and so forth. That resulted in baby boom among Syrian families under temporary protection in Turkey with birth rate reaching to %5.3, that is 3 or 4 times higher than in Syria before or after its civil war. All that money is paid by Turkish tax payers but such child care money is not paid to Turkish familes.

The problem is; the government couldn’t settle well syrians. And the rich and educated syrians went to Europe, poor and uneducated refugees come to Turkey. Turks cannot speak arabic. Don’t have any relation with syria without religion. Even while in ottoman and before not any arab ever come to this lands before. Thats why a cultural difference started to occur. As a Turk I remember when i was working, i have to take inside pictures of a home. There was a syrian woman inside. Her husband knew we will come and see the house. We ring the door at the time. No one was there to answer. After half hour passed the husband come and he argued with us why we ring the door. He said her wife is in home and we can’t see his wife. That was really weird because in Turkeys women can open doors. Moreover he can stay with Turkish women and work with them but Turks can’t come and see your wife. Btw I didn’t care about his wife. I had to see the house only. He get offended by my actions. See the difference? All other women helal to him but none can ever see his women. Thats the one of the problem. As a Turkish, I have to say that unfortunately there are politicians who promote hostility towards refugees and a minority who believe their words. But this is not the general perspective of the Turkish people towards our refugee brothers. We are hosting 5-6 million refugee brothers, at least 4 million of whom are Syrians, but some sad isolated incidents are taking place. This situation does not reflect the general approach of the Turkish people and the attitude of the administrators. In addition, it is impossible not to mention this issue. Unfortunately, citizens of some Muslim countries who did not take the necessary responsibility in the Syrian civil war are raising the voice that they could not raise against their own administrations to criticize Turkey, which hosts millions of refugees today. If only their own kings, emirs or sheikhs would also take a part in the matter so that Turkey would not have to shoulder the entire burden. Maybe then we could host our refugee brothers in a much better way.

turkey had and still has ample reason to be a player in the area to secure a base in a region which directly affects its own national security. the turkish government has built schools and hospitals there, creating a relatively safe zone in a war torn area. it's not like they are auschwitzing the local population like the state of israel.

As a Turk I hate the attitude that many people have against Syrians. These same people will never criticize Turkey having Armenian, Georgian, Ukrainian, or Russian illegals. With that being said, the Syrians need to be returned to their homeland with guarantees for their safety and in an areas not controlled by the PKK.
I was born and raised in Germany but I consider myself to be a Turk. my father’s side of the family still lives in turkey and live in poor conditions. I think turkey has done a lot for the Syrian people and one should reject the violence and discrimination against Syrians. I think we share the same ethnicity therefore we should stick together since there are enough demons out there. Having said that I can also understand the Turks cause there is a huge language barrier between both parties which results in divisiveness and communication issues. Otherwise I would think Turks and Syrian people can get along hopefully.

There are 5 million registered Syrians living under temporary protection and approximately 2 million unregistered illegal Syrians. In addition there are 2 million Afghans in Turkey who fled from Afghanistan and 300 hundred thousand of them are Afghan army members who were ordered to evacuate temporarily to Turkey after US withdrawal in August in 2021 where they would have been taken to US after security checks but that has not happened yet. Also there are about 2 million so called students from entire Africa which abuse the current private University system where the University enrolls them for whatever money they get from those so-called students and they disappear within Turkey after a short while either working illegally somewhere or try to make their way to Europe, America etc.

War has ended in Syria. If "refugees" in Turkey (technically Syrians are not even refugees) can go to their homeland to celebrate eid, they can go back there permanently. Turkey has no responsibility whatsoever to continue hosting these people. Furthermore, Syrians and Turks do not want to live together. If they do not return back to their homeland, the future looks bleak. Turkey is heading to civil war. The determination to ignore this problem will only further exacerbate the situation.

Once more, truth is always in the middle, I think Syrians do face discrimination, in the same time, they were damn lucky to have a country as turkey at their borders, so many Turkish willing to help and tolerant enough go their struggles (just see Gaza and all Arab countries for a different reference). It is not as easy as it looks. Turkish just had the great earthquake last year, they had economic issues and rising inflation. Even the Turkish have issues, now the Syrians in their country.

I'm from Afghanistan, I have studied my Bachelor degree in Pakistan and I haven't been to Syria but I've many Syrian friends.
The thing is that when a country a affected by war only the poor of that society immigrate illegally in hopes of finding a refuge, the poor people didn't put much time in educating ethics to their children because they were drowned in poverty and all they could think about was how to find some food for today of their children.
The wealthy and the middle class of those countries that actually have superior ethics they don't immigrate illegally neither they go to turkey as turkey is not an ideal country to live in terms of living costs, the wealthy immigrate to USA or stay because they can make more profit from the on going situation, the Middle class some stay cause they are comfy and some immigrate legally to Europe and beyond. The problem is; the government couldn’t settle well syrians. And the rich and educated syrians went to Europe, poor and uneducated refugees come to Turkey. Turks cannot speak arabic. Don’t have any relation with syria without religion. Even while in ottoman and before not any arab ever come to this lands before. Thats why a cultural difference started to occur. As a Turk I remember when i was working, i have to take inside pictures of a home. There was a syrian woman inside. Her husband knew we will come and see the house. We ring the door at the time. No one was there to answer. After half hour passed the husband come and he argued with us why we ring the door. He said her wife is in home and we can’t see his wife. That was really weird because in Turkeys women can open doors. Moreover he can stay with Turkish women and work with them but Turks can’t come and see your wife. Btw I didn’t care about his wife. I had to see the house only. He get offended by my actions. See the difference? All other women helal to him but none can ever see his women. Thats the one of the problem. They are different in every aspect. They are not civilized. Live like 1000 years ago. But when they get power overpower others women and men with power.

As a Turkish, I have to say that unfortunately there are politicians who promote hostility towards refugees and a minority who believe their words. But this is not the general perspective of the Turkish people towards our refugee brothers. We are hosting 5-6 million refugee brothers, at least 4 million of whom are Syrians, but some sad isolated incidents are taking place. This situation does not reflect the general approach of the Turkish people and the attitude of the administrators. In addition, it is impossible not to mention this issue. Unfortunately, citizens of some Muslim countries who did not take the necessary responsibility in the Syrian civil war are raising the voice that they could not raise against their own administrations to criticize Turkey, which hosts millions of refugees today. If only their own kings, emirs or sheikhs would also take a part in the matter so that Turkey would not have to shoulder the entire burden. Maybe then we could host our refugee brothers in a much better way.
Despite hundreds of thousands of good things, the media always tries to increase conflicts with street interviews like this. In Turkey, if the interview is done in a neighborhood where secular people live, they were also hostile when the first refugees came 13 years ago. But now, 13 years later, since the Turkish economy is on the verge of collapse, everyone wants 6 million refugees to return to their country. But this is not hostility, it is just the struggle for life that has become difficult. May Allah protect our Syrian brothers from all kinds of danger. Not only women and children but also murderers and rapists were released from prisons. The anger towards Syrians in Turkey lies in this situation. I think this was a trick of the murderer called Bashar Assad.

I was born and raised in Germany but I consider myself to be a Turk. my father’s side of the family still lives in turkey and live in poor conditions. I think turkey has done a lot for the Syrian people and one should reject the violence and discrimination against Syrians. I think we share the same ethnicity therefore we should stick together since there are enough demons out there. Having said that I can also understand the Turks cause there is a huge language barrier between both parties which results in divisiveness and communication issues. Otherwise I would think Turks and Syrian people can get along hopefully.

There are 5 million registered Syrians living under temporary protection and approximately 2 million unregistered illegal Syrians. In addition there are 2 million Afghans in Turkey who fled from Afghanistan and 300 hundred thousand of them are Afghan army members who were ordered to evacuate temporarily to Turkey after US withdrawal in August in 2021 where they would have been taken to US after security checks but that has not happened yet. Also there are about 2 million so called students from entire Africa which abuse the current private University system where the University enrolls them for whatever money they get from those so-called students and they disappear within Turkey after a short while either working illegally somewhere or try to make their way to Europe, America etc.

War has ended in Syria. If "refugees" in Turkey (technically Syrians are not even refugees) can go to their homeland to celebrate eid, they can go back there permanently. Turkey has no responsibility whatsoever to continue hosting these people. Furthermore, Syrians and Turks do not want to live together. If they do not return back to their homeland, the future looks bleak. Turkey is heading to civil war. The determination to ignore this problem will only further exacerbate the situation.

Once more, truth is always in the middle, I think Syrians do face discrimination, in the same time, they were damn lucky to have a country as turkey at their borders, so many Turkish willing to help and tolerant enough go their struggles (just see Gaza and all Arab countries for a different reference). The problem is with a country that is not able to cope properly with the migration, while collapsing it's economy with aberant measures, automatically driving hate towards the outsiders, while the country of origine if anything else but stable, I don't blame anyone for preferring turkey to Syria. Proper investment in education and integration should be pursuit, with equal rights (not favoritisms) for all, language teaching etc.

They have nothing against Ukrainians, Russians, Armenians etc. Somehow, they only cry like this when it's about Afghans, Syrians, Pakistanis.
