I am 22 years old and had LDL Cholesterol levels at 199 when it should be 100 or less. I am (or was) a healthy person, I am not obese, I lead a very healthy lifestyle but my cholesterol is high due to genetic causes. A doctor prescribed Simvastatin for me and the side effects destroyed me. I suffered horrible muscle pain, my tongue turned yellow and after a blood test it turns out that I have damage to my liver. All this after consuming the medication for just over 3 weeks. I stopped taking the medication and started eating a low refined carb diet and started taking eggplant water and just with that and a little exercise my cholesterol went down really well. I am not one of those people who are paranoid about the use of medicines, but in this case this medicine is a total disaster, try all kinds of natural remedies before consuming this.
I realized dat After i taking simvastatin pills made my heart beat faster, Is it good or bad??? Should I go and need to see the doctor ? explain to me,please

I've just started using them, my doctor's said is to reduce control cholesterol. But I'm now feeling pains on my knees joints and elbow joint.

No they are two different statins
