How novel, making a crap machine, from another crap machine to make a crap sugar juicer! I think I will stick to 3 spoonfuls in my tea.

In 45 years of engineering and toolmaking , I have never seen such crap, it’s something when you have to wedge a piece of steel between the tool post and centre drill to stop it wobbling and not stay on centre baffles me ,obviously the tailstock has had it or not using the right taper but I wouldn’t trust anything they produced, no welding is prepared prior to welding, welding over slag, welding over mill scale , welding over rust as everything is made out of scrap all welds are porous so very weak, if that’s Indian manufacturing you can keep it 😊

If u are able to, invest in a grinding bench with grinding wheels to shape your carbide tools - for a sharp cutting edge with the correct angles on it. It would make your life so much easier. With the right tools u can fix your tail stock and repair the worn out bearings of your machine - and turning is much easier, with better surfaces and also better performance (deeper cuts without blue wire chips). Also as an advice, the spindle speed u set up for your drills is way to high, thats HSS not Carbide. Also the tip angle of your drills is way to small (try 120° - u have 90° or less).
With a well maintained lathe and correct shaped tools, u will increase your production speed, quality and safety. Wish you the best for the future, you guys are smart and dilligent.

I just want to give you some advices - to reduce the spindle spindle speed for your drills, or change the tip angle of your drills, cost you nothing, but it saves you time and money (drills will stay much longer if you set the correct speed).

Ilia prorok.2:26:55,при выполнении операции нарезки резьбы,режущий инструмент нужно обязательно макнуть в жидкую смазку или метчик смазать солидолом.В противном случае инструмент быстро тупится или хуже того ломается при закусывании.
