Yes, the RC hobby is exactly like this. As the aircraft 'scale-up' they become more stable and easier to fly but more expensive and complex to build and maintain. RUclips is brimming with videos of hobbyists who have spent perhaps well over a year building an exacting giant scale replica only to crash them within minutes of take-off or destroy them in a botched landing. The small models are fairly cheap but twitchy and crash easily. The hobby is a hole you pour money into but sometimes you can find a budget level that you can afford and stick to.
Well thats one of the funniest short films i have ever seen! Funniest R/C vid ever, and deserves much credit. Just perfect and funny. Nice production valus and filming. Good directing. Worty of paying admission for the chance to view. Condolences for the loss of your friend. Thank you for this contribution to film short titles. You deserve an r/c film oscar. Please make more vids, you guys have talent!
well I watch this from time to time because this is a perfect example of how any hobby can go overboard 😁 and the best part is today you could film this again with pretty big real RC planes and today's CGI damn that could look so real

This made me laugh. I know how the man feels at the end. My mates all started buying rc choppers and it quickly turned into a comp just as in this vid. They all quit rc helicopters though after i managed to get a kalt space baron as they knew they couldn't compete with it. Best part of this vid is when the man in his high vis jacket turns around, and you see British on the back as Concorde flies over. Its still the best airliner ever. Rip Concorde.
Just like me,every time I go out to fly my T-Rex Helicopter,...some kid comes along and makes me feel like I,m flying a Model-T Ford! I can fly circles,but not 3-D,....YET!!!
I love the ending theme music, The end theme The Incredible Hulk..when the late Bill Bixby walks away down the road..as a wonderer once more....nice touch...heheh
