Faker didn't just predict Rulers flash, after he shuffles in he summons a soldier and autos to force a panic response, Faker flashes 1st knowing how Ruler would respond, the entire sequence was already in his head and he executed it perfectly.
It wasn't a prediction as much as it was anticipation, he lead ruler to move exactly the way he wanted, he anticipated it, evident by him flashing backwards first in order to force a response flash from ruler but by then it was too late, faker read ruler like a book, if it was prediction then faker would've just flash+ult the moment the shuffle ended.

You could feel the momentum shift when Oner, storage from his team by a aliyah wall and chunked, flashes over an ashe arrow for the hero engage that turned the entire game on its head. Easily one of the best moments in world this year.
Bro wtf are you even saying. Why does it have to be one or the other lmao. And no, if you want to compare the two Faker's pick onto Ruler was far more pivotal. Let's say Oner doesn't do that and T1 backs away or Oner gets hit by the arrow and dies. All they lose is drag. They have 2 drags already to JDG's 0 so game goes on. It was only 17 minutes in. Don't get me wrong it was an god tier play but since you want to compare the results and/or consequences of each play matter. Faker's Azir ult pick onto Ruler was game deciding. They were down 4k gold vs baron and that mid wave had 3 cannon minions. If they didn't go then they will 100% lose mid inhib and maybe a side lane one as well and then the game is in an even more dire position. They were in a rough spot that was about to spiral out of control. If Varus doesn't get picked there they likely lose 2-3 players from the failed engage and the game is over. T1 immediately won the game being down 4k gold vs baron with a fed varus.
honestly fakers one was the better play. He caught Ruler the whole heart to the team. Once he was down they had nothing for the team fight. imagine being ahead with baron and an easy win. JDG never lose when they have baron and are ahead. They lost, that's why they lost game 4. They were so dishearten having lost game 3 cause of Fakers play. Ruler even got owned by Guma with 369 as his backup. Ruler could've missplayed that since he was caught out by Faker in game 3.
Why does one play have to be more significant than the other? I disagree though. Faker's engage was literally GAME WINNING. JDG had the gold lead and the baron to wipe them out and destroy entire T1 base but just because of that Azir engage, they instantly won the game.
