The line that hits me is when KG says “he didn’t step on everyone like he could’ve”…. LeBron could’ve leveraged his position to take the shine from everyone. He could’ve not focused on player empowerment, he could’ve been a jerk to everyone, but he chose the path of unity.. truly the league couldn’t have fell into better hands.. long live the king

We can debate all we want about Bron vs MJ, i like MJ more but if you think Bron the GOAT I respect it. The one thing though: If you have to explain the game of basketball to somebody, show your kids how to play, or answer who the face of basketball should be all time, it's Lebron. Plays the game the right way, can do anything on the floor, always getting teammates involved, no scandals, no family issues, a great guy in general. He should be the face of basketball: Jordan can be the better player between the two, but if I had to choose an individual to represent basketball in the eyes of others, it would probably be Bron.

I would select MJ over Lebron for the last shot of the game; however, I would select LeBron if I had to start a franchise. As great as MJ was, he only got to a championship under one coach and system. LeBron went to a championship at 22 years old with a roster that was worse than what MJ had under Doug Collins. MJ would not have gotten that Cavs roster to a title.

I think this is normal though. When you are not far removed from the game that competitive spirit is still alive and burning inside you. You have regrets and what if's on top of that. Some players it takes decades, but the more you are personally removed from your personal career in the game, the more objective you can be. True ballers can easily notice other true ballers, so it's no surprise they came around. Just shows the maturity and respect they have for the game and anyone who plays it at an high level. But to the fans who watch this, it for sure gives Lebrons legitimacy to anyone who isn't sure, because if anyone is to despise Lebron, its these two. lol

I don’t think it’s fair to LeBron that he gets compared to MJ so often. We should just celebrate both of their greatness and stop putting one against the other. They do this with all of our black entertainers, athletes, and celebrities. Michael Jackson, versus prince, Martin Luther King versus Malcolm X, Jay Z versus Nas. Let’s just celebrate and appreciate them all without having to decide which one is better.

I don’t get it? Lebron is the 2nd best player in history, how is that knocking him down? How can you be greater than someone who accomplished more in a lot less time? Longevity is the ONLY thing Lebron truly has over Jordan. Ok he leads in total points and is 4th in assists right? Now where is he in total turnovers, missed shots, missed free throws, and total games lost? If your gonna count longevity stats than compare all of them, not just the ones to go along your narrative. In every analytic stats Jordan is greater than Lebron. Lebron is 2nd in 95% of them so what’s wrong with being 2nd?

The logic of comparing Stats a guy (LBJ) who played 20 years fresh out of high school to another guy (MJ) who went to college 3 years, retired 3 times and 2 of those retirement was after winning 3 straight titles...it is not apples to apples comparison...but the fact one (MJ) played many years less shows how great he was
So imagine if Jordan came out of High School, and played 20 years straight....things would hit different, same goes for Magic, Kareem, Bird. And although Kobe played 20 years out of high school he was hurt the last 4 years of his career, imagine if he wasn't hurt
If it takes one 20 years to do something it took another guy 12-15 years to do, how is that better?
