I watched two other videos on bidet installation and yours had the best presentation, thank you! Waiting for a bidet to be delivered. Saving this video to my library to watch again before I do my own installing. Cheers!
Glad it was helpful. Bidets are so far back ordered right now ... I was going to do a give away but I've been waiting for months for more to be delivered. Thanks for watching.
@@Anyhourservices actually, I grew up with bidets in Europe My father was in the military but the bidet was a separate appliance and he sat facing the wall to use it. My mistake was in my exuberance to try this out, I went ahead and donated a few drops of pee and face the wall but it was awkward I thought to get my legs so that I could have access to the controls. I neglected to take it off of high flow in the woman setting and consequently what followed felt like Muhammad Ali doing a workout on the speedbag! Yowza! I screamed like Richard Simmons and Liberace having a special moment. Well I learned from that. And when sitting in the right position it works fairly well
you demonstration was waaaay too simple. thank you. ive had my attachment in the box for 2 years. time to give it a go. would those who have installed theirs, how do you like it? its a friday nite and im excited at the prospect of installing an effen bidet 🤔 lol
Hi friend, can you help me out? I'm stuck at 2:20. I can't disconnect the hose from the underside of the tank. There seems to be a white plastic part like the one you have, but there's also a metal one, they seem to be stuck together. I think I have to unscrew them apart but I'm unable to do it. Also the toilet valve is now loose inside the tank. What do I do? Thank you for your time.
You may need to use a couple wrenches, one to hold the fill valve in place and the other to loosen the supply tube. After you do that, you can tighten the nut on the underside of the tank to tighten the fill valve. Good luck my friiend.
After I re-install my seat, it does not go down to the bowl, Space between the bottom of seat and the bowl, is about 1". If I force the seat down it pops off the mounts.
The teflon tape has very little if any value. The connection that prevents leaks is between the compressed washer and the two mating surfaces. It might seem like the teflon tape would prevent leaks if the washer fails. It won't. Teflon tape is meant to be used in a joint that has the male side tapered so that when the joint is tightened the teflon tape will be squeezed. If the teflon tape is applied to a connection without tapered threads the spiral leak path will still exist. It is possible that the teflon tape might slow down a leak a bit, but I think there would still be a significant leak in the spiral between the the nut and the male side especially if the water pressure is high.
they even send teflon tape out with compression fittings now , I dont think it is understood how it functions I have never used it only Rector seal number 5 on taper threads
Yes. Any hardware store should have it. Ask them for teflon tape

HI Mate, thanks so much for your explanation. Super clear! Unfortunately, I can't shut the water off as the screw is jammed. Any recommendations? Do I need to replace the valve entirely? Thank you
The water hose connecting the toilet to the shut off valve is solid pipe and not a flexible hose. How awkward will this make the install? Am I going to need to replace that pipe?
The directions for the Biobidet i bought at Target says you're supposed to put the washer narrow side up, opposite of the way you did it at 3:20. Not that it's the reason but I did it your way and can't stop the damn thing from leaking. It's driving me crazy. I was going to take the T nozzle off and turn the washer around. Any suggestion on how to stop the leaking where the t-valve connects to the toilet?
You can add a washer at that point as well and/or maybe Teflon tape. I've found there are quite a few different bidets out there that install similar with slight variations. Good luck my friend.
I tried to hand tighten the main fitting onto the fill valve and because of the gasket i cant tell if its hand tight because the whole hand tightening part is not easy to do so judging when it is hand tight is really difficult. I tried to tighten it down without the gasket and it went on real easy so any pointers on how to fix this problem?
i've installed several of these. i've also watched several of these installation videos. What gets me is that the problem of the toilet seat not going all the way down after installation of the unit is not addressed.
There are replacement bumper caps that you can add to the underside of the toilet seat to thicken up the underside and have the seat make contact with the bowl again.
Just search Clear Rear and you should find something. I ordered min off an Instagram add back before the pandemic. I tried ordering 6 more, about a month ago, to use as giveaways and still have not received them. If you are only buying 1 maybe try a seller that is not clear rear themselves and you might get them faster. Good luck. Let me know what you end up doing.
Hello Friend! Can you help me out? Before I installed my bidet, I had to replace the entire set of my toilet fill valve as it was already defective. The set came with a PLASTIC adapter which I had to use in order to connect the fill valve to the plastic female end of the bidet hose. (No metals) However it leaks and it seems to be coming from the connection between the adapter and the bidet hose. I tried with and without Teflon. Either way it still leaks. What do I do? Thank you very much for your time.
Make sure you are not cross threaded. You can also try getting a washer and use it in addition to the teflon tape. I personally have not had that issue.
I wouldn't recommend trying to do that. If you try and hook directly to the hot water, you would most likely burn yourself when the water comes out. If you want warm water, you should look at installing an electric bidet, they have an option to heat the seat and water. Good luck my friend.
My cold water line has water that is ice cold. I would not feel clean using cold water. Is it possible to attach a toilet seat bidet to my bathroom faucet? I'm not talking about using a sprayer bidet, I want to get a toilet seat style bidet.
Luxe makes a bidet that has a warm water line that you hook up to the hot water under the bathroom sink. You can just run the "cleaning" function to let it warm up.

Very good instructions thank you I followed them to a “T” and now my bidet is up and running
Straight and to the point, great video. 👍🏾
Installing this model for my mom, thank you so much! Basic tips and instructions are so appreciated by those with no plumbing experience Bless You!!

the instructions from neo 120 bidet rubber is placed with cone upwards.
God bless her shes trying really hard and this helped me
Your video was very informative. Thank you. Off I go to install a bidet.
Pretty helpful video and appreciate the handy high lighted steps for the over lay.
glad you liked it.
I can't even mount the stupid thing to the bowl because the posts don't fit through the slot and are not removable.
I'm putting mine in tomorrow. This video was super easy to understand.
This is the best video I've seen by far.

Are you sure that you put teflon tape on compression non taper type fittings , I never have.

On my bidet the bidet is not working. No water is coming out. The light on temperature just blinks. Can you help?

Not sure why yours does that. I have not had that problem.

I need help. Mine is leaking in the toilet from the rear sprayer... I have no idea why or how to fix it. Just a constant dribble out

Really awkward. Your best bet is to go to the hardware store and buy a flexible hose. They’re not that expensive. Good luck.
@@Anyhourservices I ordered one on Amazon. Will be installing this weekend. Thanks.
Man you will love it when you get it installed. What ever it takes do it you won’t be disappointed.
